After the battle with Sweet Tooth, Ladybug, Mister Quills, and Blue Feather came back inside the living room.

Mister Quills: Spiike, quills down! *He de-transforms and Spiike hovered next to Marin. *

Bridgette: Purry, show's over! *She de-transforms and Purry hovered next to Bridgette. *

Marinette: Spots off! *She de-transforms and Tikki hovered next to Marinette, they fed their Kwamis and hid them too. Soon, Timmy came back from his room. *

Timmy: Is it over?

Timmy: Okay. *Marinette heads to the kitchen while the others sit in the living room waiting for their parents to come home. Then, Tom and Sabine came through the door from the bakery. *

Tom: Glad everything's back to what it used to be.

Sabine: Are you all okay?

Marin: Yeah, we took cover like you said.

Tom: That's good. Well, I better start on dinner.

Bridgette: What are we having?

Tom: That's a surprise. *Then, Tom smelled something. * What is that smell?

Bridgette: Oh, I just put in a fresh coat. *She painted her nails. *

Timmy: Just the macarons you made.

Marin: Ah, just airing out the dogs.

Tom: Um, okay... it's not Bridgette's nails, cookies, or feet. This smell is... divine. *He goes into the kitchen, and he sees Marinette in the kitchen. * Sweet pea, it's you?

Marinette: Oh, hey Dad. *He looked at the sandwich on her plate. *

Tom: Is that a Monte Cristo sandwich? On brioche?

Marinette: Yeah. I was just... *Tom takes a sandwich half and tries it. *

Marinette: Just going over my syllabus for the culinary class I'm taking. It's one of the electives I chose.

Tom: Oh. Did I eat what your progress? I'm sorry.

Marinette: No. I needed a taste tester. And judging the way you ate it, it's good.

Tom: It is. Has cooking become your passion?

Marinette: I have learned from the best. Of course, my thing is fashion, I just don't know.

Tom: Well, cooking is like fashion.

Marinette: Okay. *She takes her sandwich goes up to her room and finishes up her homework. Tom goes through the pantries and sees what he can make for dinner. * Hmm... I can make my bacon mac and cheese for dinner. Better get started. *He gets a box of mac and cheese, a pack of bacon from the fridge, a pan, a pot, a spoon, and some black pepper. He gets started on cooking, and Sabine sits down and reads her magazine. *

Sabine: So, how was school?

Bridgette: It was alright.

Marin: I passed my history test.

Sabine: That's great.

Timmy: We talked about Stranger Danger.

Sabine: That's good. And very important to all safety.

Bridgette: And I'm learning about the style of writing from Ms. Bustier's class.

Sabine: That's good too. I wonder how Marinette's day went.

Bridgette: Probably the same as us.

Sabine: Okay. *In Adrien's room, Adrien plays with his foosball table where Plagg eats his camembert cheese. *

Plagg: Man, three villains in one day. Glad that's over.

Adrien: Guess life as a superhero is nonstop, you gotta protect everyone and we'll have to put an end to Shadow Moth too.

Plagg: Oh, yeah. That's true. *He takes another bite of his cheese. Soon, Adrien's phone buzzed. He gets it out and it's a message from Nino. *

🐢: Hey, dude.

🐈: Hey, what's up?

🐢: Nothing. Alya just showed me the battle the heroes fighting off Sweet Tooth.

🐈: Cool.

🐢: And I also wanted to say that don't forget your swimwear for our swim test.

🐈: Way ahead of you. *Soon, the door knocked. He put his phone down and Plagg flew inside his jacket, and he went to the door and opened it. It was his bodyguard. *

Adrien: Yes? *His bodyguard tilts his head back telling Adrien to come. * Okay. *He leaves his room and follows his bodyguard to the dining room. And that's when he saw his father. * Father?

Gabriel: Hello, Adrien.

Adrien: Aren't you busy?

Gabriel: I was, but... I decided to put stuff on hold. For you.

Adrien: Okay.

Gabriel: Why don't I tell the staff what you want for dinner?

Plagg: Looks like your dad is finally having some time with you.

In Marinette's house, Tom fired up the bacon as he turned the stove off on the mac and cheese.

Tom: Sabine, can you help me here?

Sabine: Okay. *She walked into the kitchen where Tom is in. * Yes?

Tom: I'm trying to make Bacon mac and cheese; would you mind putting the mac and cheese in a casserole dish?

Sabine: Of course.

Tom: And also, see if that frozen blueberry pie is in the freezer.

Sabine: Okay. *She gets the casserole dish out goes to the freezer and sees the instant frozen blueberry pie. * Yes, we do.

Tom: Good. We'll have to cook both the casserole and the pie in the oven together.

Sabine: Okay. *She gets the pie out of the box and puts the box in the trash. *

Tom: This should be done. *He put the macaroni in the dish, poured the melted cheese over the cooked macaroni, turned the stove off where he cooked the bacon cut up the pieces on a cutting board, sprinkled some bacon bits on the mac and cheese, and put the casserole in the oven, and Sabine put the Blueberry pie in the oven. *

Sabine: The pie should be baked in 20 minutes. *She set the timer to 20 and put it on the counter. *

Tom: And the Bacon mac and cheese should be done in 20 minutes. *He set another time for 20 minutes, Sabine leaves the kitchen and Tom decides to make a drink for everyone. * Hmm... last time we had Strawberry kiwi smoothies. Guess I can settle with a green Kiwi smoothie this time. *He plugged up the blender and started making green kiwi smoothies. In the Liberty, Luka came back from walking Snowflake, he unhooked her leash. *

Luka: There you go. *Snowflake panted and she ran to her bed and chewed on her toy. Luka put the leash on the rack, Anarka opened the oven got the chicken veggies kebabs out, and placed them on the stove. *

Anarka: Good thing you're back, Luka. I just got the chicken veggie kebabs out of the oven.

Luka: Okay.

Anarka: Tell Juleka to come out, dinner's ready.

Luka: Sure, mom. *He walked to the cabin, Juleka's in bed writing in her journal. * Jules?

Juleka: Yeah?

Luka: Mom said dinner's ready. She made kebabs.

Juleka: Okay. *She put her book down left the cabin and headed to the dining room. Luka poured some water into Snowflake's water bowl and poured some wet dog food into her food bowl. He pets her and he walks away when she eats her food. *

Anarka: Here you go. I made chicken veggie kebabs. *Luka takes one and Juleka takes one, and they start eating them. She also poured some mango juice into 2 cups. * I hope you'll like my mango juices. *They take a sip, and they like it. *

Juleka: Was I picky with mangoes?

Anarka: Yes, when you were little.

Juleka: Oh. It's good. *They keep eating their food and drinking their mango juice. *

In the Agreste Manor, Adrien waits patiently for his father to come back, he hears the door open, and he sees his father holding a dish.

Gabriel: For you, Adrien. Lasagna and salad with crotons. *He put the plate down lifted the lid and revealed the food on his plate. *

Adrien: Thank you, father. *Gabriel sits down, and the service staff reveals the same dish Adrien has. *

Gabriel: Thank you, Slyvia.

Slyvia: You're welcome, Mr. Agretse. *She walks away, and Gabriel takes a bite of his food. *

Gabriel: So... how is life in school?

Adrien: It's good, father. I've been passing all of my classes, going to my fencing classes, and doing my photoshoots.

Gabriel: Good. As long as you're on top of things, that's all that matters to me. *He tried a croton cut up a piece of lasagna and took another bite. * So, how are things with you and Kagami?

Adrien: We're... okay.

Gabriel: Just okay?

Adrien: Yeah.

Gabriel: Hmm... (I'll have to have a talk with Tomoe about this.)

Adrien: Father, can I ask you for advice?

Gabriel: That depends. What is it?

Sabine: That's the pie. *She gets up and goes to the oven, puts on oven mitts, gets the pie out of the oven, and lets it cool until dessert. *

Tom: (Pie's done. The food should be ready soon too.) *Then, the other timer went off. * Food's ready everyone. Can someone feed Tibbles and Angel?

Marinette: I'll do it. *Everyone stands up, Marinette pours water into their water bowls and pours some food into their food bowl. * There you go, guys. *Tibbles and Angel go to their bowls and eat their food; Marinette washes her hands, and joins the others at the table. Tom gets the casserole dish out from the oven, and he start cutting it up. *

Tom: Okay, hope you're all hungry. I made Bacon Mac and cheese. *He served them some and poured some green kiwi smoothies into their cups. * Try the smoothie I made. *They take a sip and they like it. *

Bridgette: Is this Kiwi?

Tom: Yes. It's green Kiwi smoothies.

Marin: I'm starting to like Kiwi. *He tried the bacon Mac and cheese. * Not bad.

Timmy: I love Mac and cheese.

Tom: Glad you liked it. This is the first dish I made.

Marin: You already got my rating. A+ for presentation, A+ for smell, and A++ for texture. Cheesy yet crunchy.

Tom: I'll take it, kiddo. *He eats some bacon Mac and cheese and Sabine drinks some smoothie. * So, how was everyone's day at school?

Bridgette: Good, minus the Akuma that interrupted lunch.

Sabine: There was an Akuma at school?

Marinette: Yeah.

Tom: Well hopefully you all took cover.

Marin: Yeah. *Bridgette takes another bite of her bacon Mac and cheese, Timmy drinks some green kiwi smoothie, and Marinette looks over at her dad. *

Sabine: Well, your father and I have some news to tell you all.

Tom: We have a wedding order to make.

Bridgette: Who's getting married?

Sabine: A customer named Lucy. She wants a wedding cake and an engagement cake.

Tom: Which we'll do later. And also, there's something else. We know you guys have school on weekdays and always help us out on weekends, so we decided it's best to have some hired help while you guys are busy in school.

Sabine: We'll have some hire-help interviews this Saturday. So, we'll have to do fewer hours in the bakery.

Tom: You're all okay with that?

Marin: Yeah. It sure beats doing the bakery rush. *He drinks more of his green Kiwi smoothie. *

Marinette: When can we meet the hired help?

Tom: After we do the interviews.

Sabine: We also have to set up a little delivery service.

Tom: Has to be someone who's fully licensed.

Marinette: Think Luka can help?

Sabine: What do you think?

Tom: I mean, it's up to him, honey.

Marinette: He does delivery jobs on weekends. I'm sure he can be much help. *Tom and Sabine looked at each other. *

Tom: You can ask him if you want.

Marinette: Okay. *She eats more of her bacon mac and cheese. *

Tom: Also, I thought about adding a small coffee maker in the bakery.

Marin: A coffee maker? Why?

Tom: Well, in case people want coffee in the morning.

Bridgette: True, who doesn't?

Marin: Makes sense.

Sabine: When payday comes this week, we'll get a coffee maker.

Bridgette: Do you know how to use one?

Sabine: It will be a self-serve one. *She eats more of the bacon mac and cheese. *

Bridgette: Ahh, okay.

Tom: So, it's settled. Marinette, will you make the fliers for hire help in the bakery?

Marinette: Sure. Can it be tomorrow when I get home from school?

Tom: Yes.

Sabine: We will advertise in the newspaper in the jobs available section too. *Timmy licked the cheese off his lips and ate some more, Marinette took a sip of her kiwi smoothie, and Tom ate some more of the bacon mac and cheese. *

Marin: How will you do that? Don't you have to have connections to the newspaper?

Sabine: Not at all. You pay per word. It will only be a little blurb.

Bridgette: Oh, okay.

Marin: Figures. We barely even read the paper.

Tom: Well hopefully people looking for work do

Sabine: I'm sure it can only help. *They keep talking and keep eating their food. *
