After their battle with King Microphone, Ladybug retrieved the miraculous back from Ivan, Juleka, Rose, Luka, Mylene, Zoe, Anthony, Rylan, Aiden, and Kyanna. Behind the building, Ladybug lands and de-transform, she feeds Tikki a macaron and she head back inside. In the grand piano room, XY and Bob Roth are talking.

Marinette: What's up?

Kyanna: Looks like they're apologizing for what had happened.

XY: Dad, I'm... sorry. You were right. Guess I don't have what it takes to be a musician and I should've tried harder.

Bob Roth: No, kid. I'm the one who should feel sorry. I said some things, things that were out of line. From now on, I'll help work on your image, to be better than the rest. We'll just have to create something better and hopefully, you'll get the recognition you deserve. *XY grinned at that. *

XY: Really? Promise. *They both hugged, then looked at the others. *

Bob Rith: Sorry that this wasn't how you hoped it would be.

Rylan: It's cool.

Bob Roth: Let's just schedule this meeting for another time, okay? *They thought about it and agreed to that. *

Marinette: (Good thing it didn't happen now.) *Then, they leave the building, and Luka calls his dad, telling him to come pick everyone up. *

Ivan: So, what now?

Anthony: Guess we'll have to see what happened later on. We're gonna head home. Let's go. *They started walking away, Marinette thought of something. *

Marinette: Wait. *They stopped walking and looked at her. *

Rose: Marinette?

Marinette: You want to hang out with us for the day? We have a whole day left, it'll be a shame to leave it like this. *The Emo-Nerd members looked at each other and they thought it was a good idea. *

Anthony: Okay.

Aiden: Sounds cool.

Kyanna: Okay.

Rylan: Sure. *Soon, the limo pulled up, the window rolled down and it was Jagged Stone. *

Jagged Stone: Hey, how did it go?

Luka: Not what we expected.

Jagged Stone: Oy, it's alright. Let me take you all home. *Luka opened the door and they got inside the limo. *

Marinette: Might take me home, Jagged?

Jagged Stone: Sure thing, Marinette.

Luka: You're not going to the Liberty?

Marinette: Maybe later, okay?

Luka: Okay. *The limo kept driving until it stopped at the Bakery. *

Jagged Stone: There you go.

Marinette: Thanks. *She opened the door and headed inside the building when the Limo drove off. In Marinette's house, Tom and Sabine were talking more about the adoption process, when they saw Marinette walking in. *

Tom: Hey, honey. How did it go?

Marinette: Okay at first, but not what was planned. *She sits at the dining room table, puts her bag down gets her French history notebook and textbook out, and gets started on her first homework assignment. *

Sabine: Not what it was planned? What happened?

Marinette: XY was akumatized and he made people go into mind control with his music, it was because his dad wasn't helping him with his music and told him he was not worthy of the music business.

Tom: Huh. So, he's not gonna work with his son now?

Marinette: He will. *She writes in her notebook and erases a mispronounced word. * Just need to think of something for him.

Sabine: I'm sure whatever it is, I'm sure it'll be better than... whatever it is he did before.

Marinette: Maybe. *She keeps working on her essay. Soon, the door opened again and they saw Marin walking into the house. *

Tom: Hey, how was practice?

Marin: It was okay. The coach said we're doing great for tomorrow night. *He puts his duffle bag down and drinks some water in the fridge. *

Tom: That's good. *He put a plate of munchkins donuts on the table next to Marinette. * A little brain food for you.

Marinette: Thanks, dad. *She kisses him on the cheek, eats a jelly-filled munchkin donut hole, and keeps working on her homework. *

Sabine: Listen, mind bringing Timmy out here? We want to discuss more on the adoption process.

Tom: I'll get him. *He goes to Timmy's bedroom door, knocks on it, and Timmy opens the door. *

Timmy: Hi, papa.

Tom: Hey, buddy. Come in the living room for a second.

Timmy: Okay. *He leaves the room and sits on the sofa with Marin. *

Sabine: I know you're all excited to have a baby sister and going to China for a year, we have lots to do.

Timmy: A year?

Tom: Adoptions take a long time to do, months even. Some for a whole year. We can't just adopt a baby without filling out documents and shipping it to China.

Timmy: Oh.

Marin: What do we have to do?

Sabine: We got lots to do for this to work. There are forms to fill out, interviews we have to have, paperwork we have to send to China, meet with a social worker.

Marinette: All that for a year? *She eats another jelly-filled munchkin and works on her report a little bit more. *

Sabine: I'm afraid so. But don't worry, the wait will go by before you know it. *Marinette looked up and looked down at her paper. * Marin, I hereby elect you: Keeper of the Checklist. *She handed Marin the clipboard with the checklist. * Your job is to help us keep on track and get everything done.

Marin: Okay. Well, there isn't a box for it, but we're low on bananas. *They all chuckled. *

Tom: I'll get dinner prep.

Marinette: What are we having this time? *She puts in the last sentence on her paper. *

Tom: Spaghetti and meatballs.

Marin: Sweet.

Marinette: I'll help. *She closed her history textbook and notebook and put it in her backpack, she then got out her science homework and worked on her report. * After I'm done with my homework.

Tom: Okay, honey. *Marinette gets started on her science homework, Marin grabs a banana from the fruit bowl, peels it, and eats it, and Timmy plays with the dogs. *

Sabine: I better check on Bridgette. *She goes to her room and sees Bridgette working on her homework from the other day and the ones Marin brought home from school today. * Hey, how are you feeling?

Bridgette: Well, I'm almost unclogged, my throat's getting better, and sneezing's going away. *She coughed a little bit. * I still have this cough bothering me. And think my fever's going away.

Sabine: Let me check. *She gets the thermometer from the nightstand next to her bed. * Hold on a minute, please? *She goes into her bathroom, rinses off the tip of the thermometer, and comes out of the bathroom. * Okay, open up. *Bridgette opened her mouth put the thermometer in her mouth and waited until it beeped. * Let's see what we got. *She takes the thermometer out of her mouth and sees what's her temperature. * Mmm. 99.2, your fever isn't over 100. You're getting better though.

Bridgette: Yeah. *She cleared her throat. *

Sabine: Is there anything you need?

Bridgette: Can I have more honey tea?

Sabine: Of course. I'll let you get back to work. *She kissed her on the forehead and left her room. Bridgette gets back to work and drinks some more orange juice. In the Agreste Mansion, Gabriel took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes. *

Gabriel: How is it that every time I have a villain deal with Ladybug and Cat Noir, there's always a new hero by their side? And even worse, new miraculous that I had never seen or heard of. How is this possible?

Nathalie: The Grimoire doesn't say if there are any other miraculous out there. So, I'm not sure how Ladybug got some more. *Gabriel groaned angrily, he sat on the edge of the bed and scowled. *

Gabriel: I must know who she is and how she keeps getting new ones. It's nearly impossible.

Nathalie: The Temple was restored after Ladybug and Cat Noir destroyed the Senti-being Feast. The miraculous was already restored along with the other unknown miraculous. We probably won't know how she got them.

Gabriel: No matter, I will get them all even if I have to do it by force. Their misery will come to an end very, very soon.
