At the Laser Tag Arena, the boys were having fun with the others.

Nino: Liking it, dude?

Adrien: Yeah. Guess this is what you call having fun, right?

Nino: Yep. *He points his tagger and fires at Marc. *

Marc: Aw, man.

Nino: Gotcha, Marc. *He chuckled. * Cover me, dude. I spot Michelle.

Adrien: Okay. *They both start moving and stop at a wall behind them, Nino looks over and sees Michelle and Jayden. *

Nino: Gotcha now. *He points to his tagger and instead of Michelle, he tagged Jayden. *

Jayden: Huh?

Adrien: You didn't get her.

Nino: At least it's better than nothing.

Adrien: Ahh. *They all keep playing laser tag together. As time went by, business started to slow down in the bakery, which is a good thing. In the bakery, there are 5 customers left in line for now. *

Sabine: Hello, welcome to the Boulangerie Patisserie, how can I help you?

Male customer: I would like a custard pie, please.

Sabine: Okay. Would that be a whole pie or a slice of pie?

Male customer: A whole pie, please? *Sabine calculated the total of the pie. *

Sabine: That'll be 8 euros. Would you like to pay with a card or cash?

Male customer: Card.

Sabine: Okay. *He reached into his wallet, pulled out his debit card, and handed it to Sabine, she scanned it and handed it back to him. *

Male customer: Thank you. *He puts his card back in his wallet and puts the wallet back in his pocket, Bridgette gets a flat box, assembles it, goes to the pie display case, grabs the custard pie, carefully places it in the box, and closes it up. *

Willa: Don't forget the sticker.

Bridgette: Right. *She put the sticker on top of the box and Bridgette placed it on the counter. *

Sabine: Thank you. Here you go, sir.

Male customer: Thank you. *He takes the box and leaves the bakery. *

Sabine: Next, please? *Uniqua walked up to the counter. * Hello, Uniqua.

Uniqua: Hi, Sabine.

Sabine: How's it going at the flower shop?

Uniqua: Good overall. I almost quit, but I have some second thoughts and still stick to my job.

Sabine: That's good. So, what can I get for you?

Uniqua: Hmm... last time I came here, I got the croissant. This time, I would like one dozen macarons, please.

Sabine: Okay, what flavor would you like?

Uniqua: I would like to try red velvet, my favorite.

Sabine: Okay. That'll be 6 euros, would that be cash or a card?

Uniqua: I got some cash. I got paid yesterday. *She reaches into her purse, gets out her money, and hands it to Sabine. *

Sabine: (Opening the register and putting the money in the register) Thank you.

Willa: I'll get the macarons.

Sabine: Thank you, Willa. *She put together the box, went to the cookie display, and put 12 red velvet macarons in the box, she then closed it up and Bridgette put the bakery sticker logo on the box. * Thank you, Willa.

Willa: You're welcome.

Sabine: Here you go, Uniqua.

Uniqua: (Holding the box of red velvet macarons, licking her lips) Thanks, Sabine. If you're still open by the time I get off, I'll come back and get something for my boyfriend.

Sabine: Okay. *Uniqua leaves the bakery and the next customer walks up to the counter. * Hello, welcome to the Boulangerie Patisserie, how can I help you?

Male customer: I would like a pineapple upside-down cake, please.

Sabine: Okay. Would that be a sliced cake or a whole cake?

Male customer: A slice of cake.

Sabine: Okay. Your total is 2 euros, would you like to pay with a card or cash?

Male customer: Cash will be fine.

Sabine: Okay. *He reaches into his pocket, gets out 2 euros, hands it to Sabine and she puts it in the register and closes the register. Marinette got a small box, assembled it, and went to the cake display, Carlos helped cut the pineapple upside down cake and carefully placed it in the box. *

Carlos: There you go.

Marinette: Thank you. *She puts the box down on the counter. *

Sabine: Thank you, Marinette. Here you go.

Male customer: Thank you. *He takes the box and leaves the bakery. *

Sabine: Next, please? *The next customer walked up to the counter. * Hello, welcome to Boulangerie Patisserie, how can I help you?

Female customer: I would like 4 cupcakes.

Sabine: Okay, what flavors would you like?

Female customer: The Elvis, Lemon Razzle, Blueberry Pancake, and Very Berry Strawberry.

Sabine: Your total is 4 euros. Would that be cash or a card?

Female customer: Card, please?

Sabine: Of course. *She hands Sabine her debit card, Sabine scans it, and hands it back to her. Willa got an unfolded box, put it together, went to the cupcake display, and put the four flavor cupcakes in the box, she then closed it up, added the bakery sticker logo on top, and placed the box on the counter. * Here you go, ma'am.

Female customer: (Taking the box off the counter) Thank you. *She leaves the bakery with her cupcakes. *

Sabine: And you're the last one in line?

Male customer: Yes, I am.

Sabine: Okay. Welcome to the Boulangerie Patisserie, how can I help you?

Male customer: I would like a cherry cake.

Sabine: Would you like it in a slice or a whole cake?

Male customer: A whole cake, please? *Sabine put in the total. *

Sabine: That'll be 8 euros. Would that be cash or a card?

Male customer: I'll pay with a card. *He reaches into his pocket, pulls out his wallet, pulls out his debit card, and hands it to Sabine. She scanned it and handed it back to the customer. * Thank you. *Bridgette assembled a box, went to the cake display, carefully put the cherry cake inside the box, closed it up, and added the bakery sticker logo. *

Bridgette: There you go, mom.

Sabine: Thank you. Here's your cake, sir.

Male customer: Thank you. I love the bakery's cherry cake.

Sabine: Well, I hope you enjoy it, sir.

Male customer: I will. Thank you. *He leaves the bakery, and she then turns to Marinette. *

Sabine: Who was that?

Marinette: (Holding a notepad and pen) It's from Mrs. Sanchez, she wants a strawberry cake for her 5th wedding anniversary.

Sabine: That's nice.

Carlos: I got it. What's her address?

Marinette: (Looking at the notepad) Avenue des Champs-Elysées.

Carlos: Okay. *Willa put together a box and got the strawberry cake out of the cake display case and she carefully put the cake inside the box, closed it up, and added the bakery logo sticker. *

Bridgette: (Handing Carlos the box) Here you go.

Carlos: Thank you, Bridgette. I'll be right back. *He leaves the bakery with the cake and goes to Avenue des Champes-Elysees. *














At the Franprix Grocery store, Luka and Juleka got done with the shopping, paid for the groceries, and left the store.

Luka: Mind loading up the baskets?

Juleka: Sure. *She grabbed the bags and loaded them up on both bike baskets, Luka pulled his phone out and messaged Marinette. *

🐍: Hey, Melody. Doing anything?

🐞: Busy at the bakery.

Luka: Wanna stop at the bakery later on?

Juleka: Sure.

🐍: Juleka and I are grocery shopping for our mom. We'll come by later on, is that okay?

🐞: Sounds good to me. I'll see you both later.

🐍: Okay. Love you.

🐞: Love you too. *Luka put his phone back in his pocket and he saw Juleka loading up the last bag. *

Juleka: There we go.

Luka: Okay, let's go. *They get on their bikes and pedal home. Outside of the bakery, Nadja and Manon walked inside the building. *

Sabine: Hi Nadja, hi Manon.

Nadja: Hi, Sabine.

Manon: Hello.

Sabine: (Carlos walking back from the delivery with the money) What brings you by?

Nadja: I'm dropping Manon off to play with Timmy.

Sabine: Oh, right. Timmy, your friend is here.

Timmy: Coming. *Carlos hands Sabine the money. *

Sabine: Thank you, Carlos. *Then, Timmy came out of the kitchen. *

Timmy: Hi, Manon.

Manon: Hi, Timmy.

Sabine: You two go play.

Timmy: Okay, let's go. *They both leave the bakery and go to the house. *

Nadja: I'll come back and get her in 1/2 an hour.

Sabine: Okay.

Nadja: But first, mind if I have a muffin to go?

Sabine: Sure. What kind?

Nadja: Banana nut, please? *Sabine puts in the total. *

Sabine: One euro, please? *Nadja opened her purse, pulled out her wallet, and handed Sabine a 1-euro bill, she took it and put it in the register. Bridgette gets a small bag and gets a banana nut muffin; she puts it in the bag and hands it to her mom. * Thank you, honey.

Bridgette: You're welcome.

Sabine: (Handing Nadja the bag) Here's your muffin.

Nadja: Thanks, Sabine. See you later. *She walked out of the bakery. *

Sabine: Can one of you babysit?

Bridgette: I'll do it.

Marinette: You wanna babysit? *The phone rang, and Marinette picked up the receiver. * Boulangerie Patisserie? Okay, 4 dozen pastries for a retirement party? Okay, what kind?

Sabine: Honey, are you sure you wanna babysit? Marinette is good when it comes to babysitting little kids.

Bridgette: (Marinette writes down the order and addresses the order) I can handle watching them.

Sabine: Okay, if you're sure you can do this. You can go, we'll handle the rest of the shift.

Bridgette: (Taking off the apron) Okay, thanks, mom. *She walked out of the counter and headed to the house. *

Marin: Think she'll handle it?

Marinette:(Hanging up the receiver) I don't know. Four dozen pastries: 1 dozen chocolate chip cookies, 1 dozen croissants, 1 dozen chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, and 1 dozen coconut macarons.

Sabine: Huh, a big order. Okay, let's get them. *They start putting together 4 dozen pastries. *

Willa: One box of 1 dozen chocolate chip cookies. *She puts one box on the counter. *

Sabine: One box of 1 dozen croissants. *She puts one box on top of the box of cookies. *

Marinette: One box of 1 dozen cupcakes, both chocolate and vanilla. *She puts one box on top of the box of croissants. *

Carlos: And one box of 1 dozen coconut macarons. *He puts one box on top of the box of cupcakes. He then carried them and walked to the door and his car. *













Inside the Laser Tag Arena, the boys were done playing laser tag. They eat pizza while talking.

Nino: That was fun, wasn't it?

Kim: It was. We should do it again sometime.

Adrien: I don't know about "some time".

Kim: Oh yeah, you're a model.

Nathaniel: Think your dad will let you have more fun?

Adrien: Just depends on my schedule and if my father would let me come out more like I did today.

Nino: I'm sure he will. You don't wanna be all cooped up at home, do you?

Adrien: If it was easy getting through to him.

Nino: Bummer, dude. I know what might cheer you up. Why don't we go to the bakery and get something?

Adrien: Sure, that'll help. *The others agreed to that. *

Nino: (Getting his phone out and messaging Alya) Better tell Alya to stop by my place and get Chris.

Ivan: Why?

Nino: So, she can drop him off to Marinette's house.

Ivan: Oh. *Meanwhile at the Liberty, Luka and Juleka parked their bikes outside and they brought in the groceries inside. In the living room, Anarka read a book when she saw Luka and Juleka walking inside. *

Anarka: You're back. I assume you got everything on the list?

Luka: We did, mom.

Anarka: That's good. I'll put them up. you guys can relax.

Luka: Thanks, mom. Think we can go to the bakery?

Anarka: Sure. See if they got any of those black and white cookies, I like. Settle me in for 6.

Juleka: Okay. *They both leave the Liberty and head to the bakery as Anarka puts up the groceries. *
