She breathed deeply, seeing the view of the sunset. Recently, the sunset had been her inspiration. She turned around, besides him, of course, and smiled while looking at his serious face.

She closed the window. She had been there for a few minutes now. She just came from practice for the next day's award ceremony and decided to pay him a visit. Luckily, his group had just finished with practice and he was just staying at his dorm.

She sighed while shaking her head. He must not have felt her staring at him. He was still so serious. She furrowed her brows but then smiled after a few seconds. This was one of his ways to destress. She had to give this to him.

She then caught herself admiring how handsome he is despite how serious he was. Too serious with your game, huh? She smiled. He had asked her for just a couple of minutes to level up before they head out.

He was squatting at the center of his room, facing his laptop with his back leaning on his bed. She walked to him. She squat down and rested her head on his shoulder.

He glanced at her, brows raised, this was one of his ways to ask her if everything's fine. She gave him a sweet smile then shook her head, her way of telling him nothing's wrong.

He had been playing this and she had been used to watching him play. She had seen how he gets frustrated when he couldn't beat his opponent or one of his team members in the game weren't doing well. She also had seen how he gets excited whenever he gets to level up.

McCree. She thought. Of course, he would use his favorite character in the game, the cowboy. She smiled remembering one of those days when he played around and pretended to be this cowboy, complete with the cowboy hat and toy revolver.

After a few more minutes, he had leveled up and halted from playing. He looked at her, her head was still on his shoulder. He kissed the top of her head.

"Kaja?" he asked her. They were planning on going out tonight but with complete disguise since they were keeping things low for the mean time. She just smiled at him.

"I was wondering," she started. He had his brows furrowed. "Will we ever fight again?" she asked carefully, continuing what she had started.

"We never did," he expressed, matter of fact. She got her brows knotted.

"We never did fought," he told her again, confirming. "There may be times when I or you sulk but that's just it. If you're referring to the one a few days ago, then it was just miscommunication, ani," he shook his head. "More like someone didn't communicate with one," he glared at her as he continued.

She bowed her head, avoiding his stare. She bit her bottom lip, guilt all over her face. She was trying her best not to let him see how guilty she was.

He held her chin and made her look at him. "Forget about that," he commanded. "That will never happen again," he continued. She smiled at what she heard.

She felt satisfaction in her heart as she heard his answer. She nodded to him as reply.

"Ouh, maja!" her brows furrowed. He looked like he just remembered something. "I got something for you."

"Chakaman," he excused himself and walked to his dresser. He was clearly looking for something there. She just looked at him.

He had a bright smile plastered on his face while approaching her. She raised an eyebrow at him, curious.

He sat next to her and handed her a box. "Hoksi..." Isn't this what we promised? Her face brightened seeing him nod at her for confirmation. She immediately hugged him. He too returned the hug.

She immediately got the box he handed and opened it. This was the pair she was eyeing on. He got it for her and what's even better is he got it for both of them. Couple shoes! Sneakers!

She gave him her brightest smile, "gomawo." He nodded while patting her head. She immediately tried them out. Fits perfectly.

"How'd you know my size?" she asked.

"I have my ways," he said while shrugging his shoulders.

"Geunde..." she bit her bottom lip, wanting to ask something but was having second thoughts as she didn't want to spoil the moment. He raised both his brows, waiting for her to continue what she was saying.

"Remember that I really wanted to get us both the same pair?" she started, carefully. He nodded in reply.

"I actually didn't desire it that much anymore since they said if you give someone a pair of shoes, that person will walk away from you," she explained.

"Do you have any plans of walking away from me?" he asked while glaring at her.

"Aniya!" she quickly answered.

"So, why do you worry that much?" he asked. She just gave him a lop-sided smile, confused of what to believe.

"Also, even if you walk away from me, I'll make sure that I will just be walking right behind you wherever you go, protecting you, supporting you," his statement touched her deeply.

"We'll then both reach the finish line together," he continued. She quickly jumped to give him a bear hug causing them to fall on the floor. He chuckled at her actions. She actually felt like tearing up because of his confession.

"But I have a favor to ask you," he revealed. She loosened their hug, sat straight and looked at him.

"Never give up on us 'coz I will never give up on you, on us" he sincerely asked. She nodded and mouthed, "yaksok" inaudibly. He kissed her forehead.

She caught herself smiling inwardly, having felt his presence at the side. She was sure he was staring at her. She was doing her best not to look back at him. There are a lot of cameras present.

It was the night of the award ceremony and they both decided to stay on low profile. It would be hard to avoid each other but they were trying their best. It was the only way to keep things as it is.

The minor awards were given earlier and 12 artists were given, including his and her groups. They were even blessed to have bagged the Best Female Dance Performance Award. His group also got the same award for the male division.

She smiled, she was already satisfied with the awards they have received tonight. She was sure, he was too.

Everyone went wild when an international artist, who was also invited in the event, performed. The fans and even the idols themselves enjoyed it. She just giggled silently while looking at his group groove to the song with their usual silly antics.

She saw him by the side of her eye, walking. Are they going to perform next? She smiled. She was excited to see him perform, for sure, it will be one amazing performance again. She just decided to enjoy the show while awaiting for his group's performance.

She looked to her side. She giggled while looking at Momo who had her jaw slightly dropped. No doubt, Momo~unnie, you're in love.

His group's performance just started and Hoseok opened for it. She looked at the stage again. Waaa. Hoseok is one great dancer, but her boyfriend was one awesome dancer as well.

"Nae pi ttam nunmul," she couldn't help but sing along with him. She was clapping along while watching their performance.

She found herself bobbing her head while singing, "fiiire". Of course, as expected from his group, slick dance moves. Indeed, no other group can dance like his group does. She clapped really hard once the performance ended.

Jihyo whispered something to her. It was time for them to prepare for their performance. She just nodded to their group's leader in reply then stood and followed her group members.

They were already at the backstage preparing. A senior group was set to perform just before them. It was a tribute stage to this senior group. While looking at this group, she somehow wished her group would last like this senior group did.

"Kaja?" Jihyo asked. "Fighting!" everyone cheered. It was time for them to perform. They then entered the stage and stood at their respective places.

They were grouped into three and each small groups were set to perform one of their songs separately before they all gather to perform their most popular songs.

The first group was Jeongyeon, Chaeyoung and Momo, dancing to Do It Again. She looked around. She was actually nervous, but when was she not?

She found him in the crowd. She squinted her eyes, if she was not mistaken, he mouthed "fighting" to her. He really knows her so well.

It was now Mina, Dahyun and Sana's turn to dance to Precious Love. She inhaled deeply. It was now her turn to dance to Jelly Jelly with Jihyo and Nayeon.

They then gathered to dance to two of their most popular hits. She enjoyed their performance and gave her all in that performance.

Another popular group performed next before the night's grand awards were announced.

"The 26th Seoul Music Awards Song of the Year," the presenter started. All artists were now gathered, awaiting for the grand awards to be announced.

"Cheer Up, Tuwaiseu" the presenter announced. She and her group members automatically stood up and walked their way to the stage. Her heart was filled with gratitude.

"Hana, deul, set," Jihyo signaled. "One in a Million, annyeonghaseyo, Twice~imnida," they introduced as they reached center stage. They delivered their gratitude speech in 3 languages, of course, she was assigned to do it in Chinese. They then bowed as their speech ended, exited the stage and returned to their seats.

"The 26th Seoul Music Awards Album of the Year," another grand award was to be announced. "Wings, Bangtan Sonyeondan," she wanted to jump for joy as he heard his group win but she was able to keep her cool and just clapped for his group.

Namjoon delivered the gratitude speech for his group but she couldn't take her eyes off her boyfriend. He was especially dashing in his suit with a ribbon. "Chukahae," she mouthed. She knew he saw her.

The last grand award was given to a senior boy group. It was actually expected for them to get this award. The award ceremony then ended. All artists gathered on stage to say their goodbyes to their fans.

She went to wave her fans goodbye along with her group members but she can consistently feel his presence behind her. He just never fails to always stay close. She smiled at this thought. If only there weren't anyone around, then she would've ran to him already and hug him tight to congratulate him.

She bit her bottom lip. She had been silent for a few minutes now. She knew he would sulk but still, he didn't fail to bring her to the airport. She poked his arm with her finger. She was actually trying to act cute right now.

She heard him sigh. "Do you have to leave now?" he asked. "Can't you just move your flight tomorrow?" he continued.

She bit her bottom lip. "Mian," she apologized.

"I didn't know manager~oppa booked my flight a day early. Also, my mom and dad must be waiting for me at the airport," she explained.

She continued poking his arm. He sighed again. She knew he had given up to her.

More than a week had passed since the award ceremony. Time indeed flies fast. It was now lunar new year, and they were given the weekend off to visit their parents and spend the holidays with their families.

She was actually set to visit Tainan on Saturday but her manager had booked her flight on a Friday, a day earlier. She wanted to spend the day with him but was spoiled when she discovered the previous night that her flight was booked earlier.

"Aren't you also going to Busan tonight to visit your parents?" she asked, trying to divert his attention.

"Neh, but that was when you told me that you were leaving a day early," he answered. She bit her bottom lip, feeling guilty.

"Next time I go back to Busan, I'll make sure..." he tried to give her some suspense. She tried to read what was going on his mind but she just couldn't read it. Her brows furrowed.

"I'll make sure I'll bring you with me," he whispered in her ear. This made her face flush. "But that'll be a surprise, you won't know when that will happen," he revealed.

Her heart pounded at that thought. He had been telling her that he wanted to introduce her to her family. It was also one way to make things legal. She had already introduced him to her mom so it was just right for him to introduce her to his parents.

She looked at him when she heard him sigh for the nth time. "Just call me when you get there," he pleaded. She nodded at his request.

"Tzuyu~yah, your flight will be boarding soon," his manager opened the door of the van to tell her this then closed it again.

"Neh oppa," she replied. She looked at him, asking for permission to go.

"Next time, you'll have to go with me to Tainan too," she told him. He smiled at what she said and nodded at her.

He kissed her forehead before she stepped out of the van. He may not be with her now but she can definitely feel his presence. She smiled and touched the necklace he had given her and also looked at the pair of shoes she was wearing.
