you and your friends were at your best friend, y/p's, house. you guys were comforting him after his break up.

"what happened? why did she break up with you?" one of your friends asked, trying to break the silence.

you were wondering the same but you didn't want to be the one to ask. so you just kept quiet but glancing over at him, waiting for an answer.

he glanced in your direction before sighing, "i'm fine you guys. don't worry about it."

"it's okay to be upset, y/p." your soft eyes looking at him. "it's okay to still love-"

he interrupted you before you can continue the sentence, "guys, i'm fine. can i be alone please?"

you all exchanged glances before reluctantly standing up.

as the others walk out, you go to follow them.

before you can leave, he pulls you back by the wrist and wrap his hands around your waist.

"i'm sorry, i need you." his voice cracks.

you gestured to the rest to leave while you stayed running your hands through his hair, sympathetically.

"why did she break up with you?" you asked in almost a whisper.

he rests his forehead against your chest, "because i don't just need you," he says as if he's in pain.

he looks up at you and cups your cheek, "i want you."

"i want you too. and i'll be here, always." you said with a smile.

he looked at you and pulled you in for a kiss.
