I pull myself off Popee's lap. "Why do you have to make everything so weird?" I said as Popee cleared up his sobs. "What do you mean? I didn't do anything at all!" He gasped, trying to look hurt and dramatic, but simply couldn't get that smirk off his face. "If you're that hurt, I might as well go talk to someone else," I smirked back, taking a deep breath, "OH KED-AHHHH!" Popee tackled me, rolling us over so he had me pinned down in the same. "SHHHH, you are not talking to anyone, missy!". I laughing, wiggling my wrists out of his hands to push him off of me, making him land in the sand beside me.

"I'm glad you're happier now." I smiled, looking up at the sky. "I appreciate you making that possible." I could tell he was looking at me but decided to ignore it. "I just...I want to be clear," he sighed, lightly grabbing my hand. "Dad isn't gonna take you away from me, right?" I sighed, "Popee, you know the answer to that question." I said, looking over at him. "I just want to hear you say it."

"Your dad is not going to take me away, nobody is going to take me away.". He sat up, pulling me with him. "If you believe no one will, I'll make sure no one will." He smiled softly at me, but when he looked away his smile felt slightly deranged, I brushed it off. Maybe that's just his weird look of determination.

"Well, Keda said he was comin', but I don't see him. When is he supposed to even show up?!" Popee yelled out, standing up, "I hope he got hit by a car," he mumbled. "C'mon, let's find the mutt," Popee said, reaching his hand out to me. "Don't be mean. I still don't get why you dislike him so much." I said, whispering the last sentence. "When you're being taken away from your family and all you get is the show dog, you end up despising it. Yeah, I should be thankful I at least have something from when we were all together, but if I had to choose between my dog and my sister, I know what's worth more, plus how we got him as I told you before. I'm opening up more, huh?" he said looking up, but slowly looking down at me as he said, "Annnnnnd, I'm just more of a cat person." He gave me a goofy smile, then going on a rant about how when we open our circus we'll have a show cat as I supported the idea, but also protested for Keda, the dog we were walking to find.

(Time Skip)

"Finally! We've been looking for you for HOURS!" Popee yelled at Keda. "Popee, we walked for like twenty minutes," I said, tugging on his arm and giving Keda an apologetic smile. "That's still too long!" He whisper-shouted at me. Keda was looking at Popee, holding his paws together. "Was there something you needed?" He asked, seeming to try to keep his words neutral. "Nooo, I get wanted to say hi, yeah fat fuc-"

"POPEE, no, he wanted to know when Papi? Yeah, Papi, was coming, that's all!" I quickly said, standing in front of Popee, knowing he got riled up, not sure why he's so aggravated. Yes, he's usually rude to Keda, but he was just so mad so quickly this time.

"I'm not sure, I'm sorry. Probably in an hour or so. It's about 12:50 pm right now and he said sometime in the afternoon." Keda told us, giving me a kindhearted smile and Popee a shaky one. "We walked all this way for that! Why I should-"

"Thank you Keda, I appreciate it," I then turned to Popee, "Let's go get some water, okay?" I smiled at him, grabbing his hand and walking away before he had the chance to say anything else to Keda.

"I didn't even answer," Popee mumbled in an aggravated tone. "Well, isn't that just too bad. I think you need to cool down." I smiled at him. "Yeah, yeah. I'm just too hot, hm?" He said, letting go of my hand and pulling his arms around my waist, keeping me still. "Popee," I smiling and laughed lightly. He let out a long sigh, slowly released his grip around me. "Ughhhhhh," He then paused, taking a deep breath.

"No," Popee said quickly, picking up to where my legs and arms were wrapped around him. "Popee," I groaned. He starting walking, seeming intent on where we were going. "Where are you taking me. This isn't the way to water." Popee chuckled softly, whispering, "Well, isn't that just too bad."

Popee walked behind a somewhat trashed tent in a part of the circus I haven't been or really noticed, the tent being much smaller. Popee sat me down in the sand, sitting down next to me, then pulling me on top of him. "I have two things to tell you." He smiled, lightly scratching my arm up and down. "One, I love you. Two, I think I know what you would be fit for in the circus." I instantly pricked up and he gave me a proud smile. "Aerial silk dancer, artist, whatever you want to call it." He laughed softly. (A/N: I'm actually an aerial silk dancer, this is why I choose it for Y/N to do! Because of Corona, I'm really missing it, so I'll incorporate it here! This includes both the silk and the hoop!)

"Popee! Really?! That's amazing! It's so pretty and scary and...just...I...thank you so much!" I hugged him tightly and felt him kiss the top of my head. "I love you so much." I smiled. "Love you too," he chuckled softly, "I'm currently in the process of building the set up for it, I have the silk though, and it's (F/C), I mean, why'd you think I asked?" My smile grew. "I thought those were just stupid questions!" Popee smiled widely. "I think ahead, my brainpower is always at the max, note that," Popee said, hugging me tightly. I rolled my eyes.

"There was something else though," Popee said, his wide smile turning somewhat charming and soft as he ran his fingers through my hair. He leaned in and kissed me deeply, grabbing my left hand in his, rubbing his thumb on my pointer finger, then sliding a ring on. We pulling apart.

"It's a promise ring," Popee whispered, obviously embarrassed. "I mean it as in, I will always love you, but if one day, you don't love me back, I'll always be there for you, as a friend. While we are together, I want to be your lover and your best friend, I want to be everything to you forever like you are to me. That's a promise."
