Shouts of passes, the sound of the ball being hit, the squeaking of the players' shoes welcomed the both of us as we stepped into the volleyball court where the RHU's Volleyball Club is practicing.

The volleyball club has two courts that they can freely use anytime. An indoor court and an outdoor court. Today they used the indoor court which makes sense, even though the breeze is cold and fresh they can't escape the scorching heat of the sun, especially since it's still noon.

I eyed at the court in front of me. There were not so many guys but they also weren't outmanned. They had the exact number of players and they were scattered on the big court.

I locked my gaze in one of the corners of the court where I saw six boys huddled up together. Before I could say anything to Jimin, he was practically dashing to where his team is. Jimin changed his comfy outfit to his practice attire. Just like most players here, he was wearing a white shirt with the school's name on it and a red and black jacket with the school's logo on it as well.

I sent a glare to the running figure because he left me, a girl who doesn't know almost everyone in this gymnasium other than him and the coconut head. Glancing on the bleachers, my eyes were finding a spot to sit on because there were plenty of vacant seats but some of them were occupied by students, mostly girls who were drooling and starstruck by the volleyball team. Why don't they go to the basketball team instead and cover the court with their drool? They're an eyesore, to be honest.

I made my way to one of the seats but I was suddenly pulled by a strong arm. As I turned, I saw six guys looming over my small height. Damn, even if my height is already impressive and exceeds the standard height of an average girl, they were still terrifyingly tall. I had to tilt my head up a little bit to match their cheerful gazes–well, except one. He was maybe a little bit shorter than the rest but still, he's huge.

I was aware that Jimin was the one who single-handedly grabbed me like I was weightless and made me face these giants in front of me. I side-eyed the over-confident guy right beside me sending a silent death wish for him which he felt because I felt him tense up, good for him. I scoffed at him and rolled my eyes and looked up at the team who was in shock but one of them showed amusement, again, the shortest one who–I guess–has a bad temper like me since his eyes were covered with boredom.

"So guys, this is Park Yeji, my friend! Yeji, this is my gang and my brothers for life!" He loudly said, his tone was dripping with excitement.

"Hi, Yeji! It's really nice meeting you, I'm Jung Hoseok by the way. Did you know how long it took to finally meet you?! You look so beautiful and pretty and gorgeous..." I gape at him with my eyes wide as it can be as he showered me with sweet compliments. The guy was tall–I mean, all of them are, jeez. He had long brown hair that reached his brows and it was parted in the middle, his heart-shaped smile is what caught me. It was entrancing but at the same time looks weird, he looks somehow just like a horse. He was finally cut off when a hand clamped on Hoseok's mouth. The man quickly shoves the poor guy to the side, making him fall and make a pout, as the man gave me a shy smile as his dimples came to show.

He has blonde–kind of ash gray hair color and his hair wasn't long as Hoseok but it suited him. He was, no doubt, the tallest among the seven. He had a heavy aura that screams authority which is why most of the members of their club are distant to him. His smile was eye-catching, especially his dimples.

"I'm really sorry for Hoseok, I'm Kim Namjoon, the Captain of the Volleyball Club. Nice meeting you, Yeji." Namjoon took his hand out politely, making his smile even wider which made his dimples stand out even more. I was about to accept it when another hand swatted Namjoon's hand.

"Hi, I'm Kim Seokjin! The Assistant Captain of the Volleyball Club and Worldwide Handsome, baby." He winks at me and gave me a flying kiss which I didn't react to but it really didn't matter to the guy. He turned to Namjoon which was glaring at him but it didn't really faze the pink-haired man. Yes, Seokjin has a striking and noticeable hair color which is pink. It enhanced his features and brings him attention, not to mention he has flattering features.

"You're not the only one who gets to brag, Namjoon!" He screamed with victory as he stuck out a tongue to Namjoon which made the tallest roll his eyes. Then I saw a boy quietly making his way in between the tall boys which was successful. He was crouching down earlier so I thought that he was the same height as Jimin, but as he stood up I stood corrected. The boy had brown, wavy hair that reached his eyebrows but unlike Hoseok's, his hair wasn't parted and it was a full bang. It suited the guy as he smiled at me with a box smile. What's with their smiles that has shapes, my gosh.

He had black earrings and the both of his ears which didn't look girly at all, in fact, it was adding to his attractiveness. His physique alongside the piercings also gave out a bad boy aura but his personality and attitude say otherwise. His box smile was one of the proofs that he isn't what he looks like as he cutely grabbed both of my hands and rested his face in between my palms, which made my heart stopped beating for a second as I realized how close our faces are. I stood there, not even trying to push the guy away. Thankfully, Jimin did the job as he pushed the guy by his forehead as he laughed.

"Yah, Taehyung! Don't scare, Yeji." Jimin scolded the brown-haired boy as the latter just gave him a sheepish smile and faced me. He grabbed both of my hands again which made me alert but didn't move to take my hands away from his grasp. He showed me his box smile and introduced himself.

"I'm Kim Taehyung, and wow, your hands are so soft!" He giggled like a child as he proceeded to rest his face inside my palm, feeling how soft it is. It was kinda uncomfortable but he looked so happy so I didn't really pay attention to him. However, my gaze landed on a bored-looking man with blonde hair and black roots. He was just there, not saying a thing or two with his hands on the pockets of his jersey shorts while staring at me. Namjoon followed my gaze and he also sees the statue-looking person with his eyes locked on mine.

The blonde-haired man started walking towards me, lazily, with his aura also heavy and intimidating like Namjoon but he can give goosebumps to whoever he looks at or just by getting close to him. of course, it didn't affect me and I just leveled his posture and aura, my eyes not backing down. The boys were also silent as they watch the boy walk, Taehyung also let go of my hands as he watched with everyone else. His strides were big but you could see how lazy he was. As he stood in front of me, he squinted his eyes at me which I responded with raising my eyebrow slightly.

"Min Yoongi." He stated flatly as he walked passed me, noticing a small smirk on his rosy thin lips before walking away. Well, I think we're going to be best buds huh? The boys look utterly confused and shock as they witnessed the little interaction Yoongi had with me. They stared at me, questioning me which I answered with a shrug. Surprisingly, another boy was in front of me. Mr. Doe Eyes. I really forgot that he's in this group of theirs, and also our encounter earlier this morning. I managed to hold back a scoff from coming out as he smiled widely at me with his bunny teeth showing.

"You already know me so there's no point in introducing myself to you." He smugly said as he placed one of his hands inside his pocket. I saw the boys confused once more at our interaction. Jungkook's eyebrows furrowed as he saw a smirk on my lips.

"Mr. Doe Eyes, what's popping?" And as if on cue, the boys stifled a laugh. Jungkook's brown eyes, now hazel because of the sunlight seeping through the windows, rolled in annoyance because he doesn't like me calling him that. The tip of his ears reddened noticeably as he glared at me and stomped his feet away from me, heading towards the bench where Yoongi was and settled down with a huff. With that, the remaining five boys cackled until they can no longer breathe. I remember Jimin's nickname that I made up, I smirked playfully at him which he widened his eyes at, realizing what I was about to do.

"Don't laugh too much, Mr. Sailor Moon guy." And the boys laughed once again, filling the gymnasium with their laughter. Jimin glared at me and I just shrugged at him. It was unfair plus I like how Jimin gets annoyed.

"S-Sailor Moon guy?" Hoseok questioned Jimin but his laughter in between the question. Jimin rolled his eyes before muttering a 'shut up' before joining Yoongi and Jungkook at the side. I mentally smiled at the childishness the players were showing even though if you don't know them really well, they're intimidating as fuck.

"What's with the pet names, oh my god!" Seokjin laughed as he wiped a tear from his eye because of laughter. His laugh actually reminds me of when you wipe a window or maybe a dying seal or something.

I glanced at the seven boys in front of me now bickering with each other as I took a seat in one of the bleachers of the big gymnasium. Namjoon suddenly whistled, his posture very intimidating as all the members gathered in front of their Captain. I saw some students getting intimidated by Namjoon, probably first years, while the rest were chill but were still alert and waiting for Namjoon's instructions.

I never really thought that I would be introduced to someone, especially to famous ones yet here I am. There's this side of me that wants to accept them and be their friend but the broken part of me quickly denies the new feeling that was rising inside of me. It was the comforting and welcoming feeling the boys gave me. They welcomed me with open arms- except for Yoongi- and that made my cold heart envelop into the warmth they brought. I sighed as my mind unconsciously debates whether to accept them into my life or not. My life isn't that great, it's not just typical problems I've had to encounter. I have a dark past and I'm not yet ready for them to see what I've been through and what it has done to me.

"Hey, Grumpy. You good?" I got startled from the deep voice and as I tilted my head up I saw the owner, Jungkook. I looked at where Namjoon had gathered the members just to see that they were already scattered inside the huge gym. I looked back at the brown-haired boy standing in front of me, wearing a white loose shirt but still kind of hugged his lean but slightly built physique, his arms also bulging from the sleeves of the shirt. He had a towel hanging on his shoulder and a black Nike headband on his forehead ready to get rid of any sweat from his forehead. I also just now noticed that he wasn't wearing his silver earrings, of course, it might lead into injury when in practice, but it did give him a bad boy aura just like Taehyung. His nose was prominent and his lips were rosy red, it was also glimmering due to water, or is it just me? I noticed a mole under his bottom lip which I didn't notice before, it was hard not to scan the boy in front of me even if he pisses me off.

"Are you done checking me out, darling?" Jungkook playfully said with a wide smirk on his pesky face. I rolled my eyes and tried to avert my gaze to the players on the court.

"What do you want, Doe Eyes?" I asked the brown-haired boy that sat beside me, leaning his back onto the seat.

"I asked you earlier didn't I, Grumpy?" My eyebrows scrunched at the nickname, Grumpy? Really, that's the best he can do? I scoffed as I rolled my eyes even though I wasn't looking at him and he knew that it was for him because I heard a low chuckle beside me. This loser needs to go away before I do.

"I am good, now leave and practice. You're being unfair to the players on the court right now," I copied his posture and placed both of my hands inside the pocket of my jeans as Jungkook just sat there, not moving. But as on cue, Namjoon whistled loudly which made me wince and almost clamp my ears shut then it was followed by Seokjin's loud scolding voice.

"Jeon Jungkook! I'll count to three and if your ass isn't here by then, you'll be punished ten times, young man!" Seokjin roared which gained a few laughs from here and there but I quickly noticed Jungkook's trembling state as he stood up and dashed to where the group is. I shook my head as he was greeted by six smacks in the head.

I stood up as I head out the gymnasium filled with the Men's Volleyball Club, not even saying goodbye to the newly met people–child if you will. I don't want friends, they'll hurt you and ruin your trust in the end, but why am I letting these seven boys break down my walls?
