Another bright and sunny day on the tropical seas of the Orange Island. Mew and her friends continue their journey to explore Orange Island with their friend Lapras. Their trip is proven to be a relaxing one as Tomo and most of the Pokemon are relaxing and feeling the ocean air. Mew is polishing the GS ball. Tracey is trying to get Togepi and Pichu to laugh.

Tracey wiggles his fingers as he says, "Coochie, coochie, coo! Peekaboo! Boo!"

Togepi smiles and happily chirps with glee. Pichu begins giggling in reply.

But soon, Tracey notices something off, and says, "It's kinda weird."

"What is? Oh, please don't tell me you think there's something wrong with Togepi," Misty asks in concern.

"No. Not wrong, exactly," Tacey answers.

Then says, "But, you'd think Togepi would have learned at least one attack by this time."

Misty kind of frowns at the statement and says, "I know what you mean, but it's not like I haven't tried to teach Togepi any attacks."

Flashback:

One time, Misty has a piece of wood wrapped in some cloth of some kind. She is mainly using it as a training target for togepi.

"Okay, Togepi. Just hit your head, like this. That's a Headbutt," Misty says, and gently taps her head on it.

Togepi then hugs the training target instead.

"Oh boy," Misty replies, lowering her head.

She stands up and says, "No, no! Not like that! Like this!"

She then slams her head on the target, knocking herself out in the process. Togepi ends up rubbing the bad bump she has received herself.

Flashback.

"I've tried to do my best," Misty replies, sadly.

But cheers up and gives Togepi a hug, "But nobody could have a better Pokémon than my Togepi."

"Togi Toge Toge," Togepi happily replies.

Then hugs Pichu, "And of course, Pichu is great too."

Pichu happily cheers, "Pichu!"

"Don't worry Misty, I'm sure Togepi will be able to learn an attack in due time. Besides, Togepi is still young so he should learn the basic moves like Growl or Pound," Mew says.

"What kind of attacks can Togepi learn?" Tomo asks.

"Well, Togepi is a Fairy Type so it would have some Fairy Type moves like Fairy Wind, Sweet Kiss, Charm, Baby-Doll Eyes, and if you train it well, it can learn moves like Draining Kiss and Moon Blast. Of course, it can use other moves like Ancient Power, Metronome, Double Edge, Last Resort, and other kinds of attacks. You could also teach Togepi to use other types of attacks, but that will have to wait until Togepi can learn to battle," Mew says.

"I suppose. I think I should also do the same for Pichu. Pichu does learn Thundershock, but well, it can use some work," Misty replies.

Suddenly, the waves begin to get a bit rougher.

"What's going on?!" Mew asks, in fright.

Tracey notices something up ahead, "It's not a current! It's a whirlpool! A big one!"

Mew calls out, "Lapras, get us away from here!"

"It's already got us!" Misty panics.

Soon enough, everyone gets pulled into the whirlpool with no hopes of escaping.

Time has passed, and Mew is able to wake up, washed up on an island of something.

Mew mumbles, "Pikachu? Eevee? Misty? Tomo?"

With that, the others get over Mew's vision for her to see.

"We're okay. Are you?" Misty asks.

"Pika Pi." (Mew.) Pikachu says in concern.

Eevee asks, "Eevee Eevee?" (Are you okay?)

"I'm okay," Mew answers, sitting up.

She looks around and asks, "Where are we?"

Suddenly, she hears Tracey reply, "Could it be?"

Everyone turns their heads to see Tracey looking around with his binoculars, observing the island.

"Shear cliffs? A giant whirlpool?" Tracey replies.

And soon says with excitement, "Alright! We're on Pinkan Island!"

"Where?" Tomo asks.

"Pinkan Island. It's this mysterious place that's surrounded by these humongous whirlpools! And with those giant cliffs, hardly anybody's ever explored it! So nobody knows what kind of Pokémon live on the island! I might be the first Pokémon Watcher to discover a whole new type of Pokémon! Come on, let's hurry!" Tracey says in excitement, and runs towards the cliffs.

"Hurry?" Mew asks.

"Hurry where?" Misty replies.

Tracey turns to the others, "Up these cliffs. I just gotta see the Pokémon!"

"Wait up!" Mew calls out.

Pikachu calls out, "Pika Pikachu!" (Don't go too far, Tracey!)

Mew quickly calls back Lapras, "Lapras, return!"

"Tracey, slow down! I'm coming with you!" Mew calls out, and follows Tracey

"Me, too!" Misty calls out.

"Me three!" Tomo calls out.

With that, everyone starts climbing up the cliff. Tracey is the first to reach the top of the cliff, and is amazed by what he sees. Soon, the others are able to catch up to him.

Ben: We all are!"

Mew sighs and says, "Made it."

Tracey calmly turns to Mew and shushes her.

"What is it?" Mew asks.

Tracey points to something on the top of the cliff, meaning something is over there. Mew and the others climb up to take a peak. To their surprise, they see a Rhyhon eating berries from the tree, but what really surprises them is that this Rhyhorn is pink

Mew quietly says, "Look at that."

"It's a pink Rhyhorn!" Tracey says, quietly.

"I'm not positive, but I don't think Rhyhorn are supposed to be pink, are they?" Misty questions, quietly.

Tomo quietly says. "Yeah. Rhyhorns are usually gray."

Mew brings out her Pokedex and it shows the Rhyhorn is gray, not pink.

Dexter says, "Rhyhorn, the Spikes Pokémon. A Ground and Rock Type. Rhyhorn is known for its physical power and its considerable offensive and defensive battle skills.

"The one in here sure isn't pink," Mew quietly says

"Wow, this isn't even mentioned in the Pokédex. I gotta get a closer look," Tracey quietly says, excited.

Then climbs and walks over to observe the Pink Pokemon.

"Tracey, be careful. Rhyhorns will charge if you're not careful," Mew quietly says, concerned.

"Mew, don't worry, I'll be careful," Tracey says.

Tracey checks the wind with his finger, "Downwind is, that way."

Then crawls closer to the Rhyhorn without being discovered.

"Just stand still, Rhyhorn. And I will sketch a masterpiece," Tracey says.

With that, Tracey begins to sketch the Rhyhorn as quickly as he can. He brings out his binoculars that can judge the length and height of his subject.

Tracey mutters to himself, "It looks to be about 8 meters long, and one meter high."

Then moves closer, "And it's horn is 20 centimeters long."

"I don't think he should be getting that close," Tomo whispers.

As Tracey draws the picture, Mew and the others watch from a farther distance.

"But he's doing so well. I have to admit, he's amazing. It is his line of profession after all," Mew says.

She's right. He's a Pokémon Watcher, Ash. He knows a lot more than you and Mew. After all, you both had a different way of observing Pokemon," Misty says.

"Pika." (She's right.) Pikachu says.

"Eevee," (Tracey's really good.) Eevee relies.

Suddenly, Rhyhorn stops eating and begins to sniff a little.

Mew mutters, "I think Rhyhorn smells something."

Before it can react, a large pink Beedrill flies out of the tree and frightens the Rhyhorn. Causing it to move back, and soon, it ends up charging towards Tracey in fright.

Mew cries out, "Tracey, look out!"

Tracey quickly moves out of the way before Rhyhorn can crush him. However, Rhyhorn turns around to notice Tracey and it doesn't look happy. Rhyhorn scrapes his foot on the ground as it growls.

"Tracey, it's going to charge!" Tomo calls out.

And with that, Rhyhorn begins to charge towards them

Misty calls out, "Look out! That's Rhyhorn's Take Down!"

Rhyhorn begins to chase after Tracey, and Tracey is leading it towards the others.

Misty cries out, "No! Don't come this way!"

With that, the others begin to run away in fright.

Tracey and Mew panics, "The Rhyhorn's getting closer!"

The chase soon goes all the way to the cliff.

"We're trapped!" Tomo panics.

"It's too high to jump!" Mew says.

Soon, the Rhyhorn runs closer and prepares to use the attack on them. Suddenly, Togepi begins to move his little arms back and forth and it begins to glow. Just then, the group teleports out of harm's way, while Rhyhorn falls off and onto the branch on the wall of the cliff. Mew and the others suddenly reappear and find themselves unharmed.

"I don't understand. How did we get over here?" Misty wonders.

"Maybe one of the Pokémon transported us here," Tracey suggests.

"But that couldn't be!" Tomo replies.

"Well, Pikachu and Eevee can't teleport. Never did Meloetta and Skwovet.

Misty turns to her Pokemon in the backpack, "It couldn't be Togepi and Pichu."

Togepi becomes thrilled and says, "Togeprrrrri!" (It's me!)"

"Wait a minute, are you saying it was you?" Mew turns to Togepi, confused.

"Toge Toge Togepriiii!" (It was me! It was me!) Togpei happily says.

"Hmm..." Misty replies, thinking if what Mew saying is true.

She simply smiles and says, "That's okay.

Tomo turns to Tracey and asks, "What I want to know is how you got so close to that Rhyhorn without it noticing you."

"I just followed two of the basic rules of Pokémon watching. I approached the Rhyhorn from downwind and made my breathing match its breathing," Tracey answers.

"Breathing?" Tomo says, confused.

"To live as a Pokémon Watcher, one must breathe as a Pokémon Watcher," Tracey adds.

Tomo sweats bullets and says, confused, "Breathing, huh?"

Misty looks around, "Hey! I wonder where that Rhyhorn disappeared to."

Soon, they end up hearing it. They look over the cliff and are shocked.

"This is terrible! We've gotta do something!" Misty says.

"Don't worry Misty, we'll rescue it," Mew says.

Suddenly, they hear a car horn, and turn their heads to see a jeep speeding towards the group and stopping in front of them. Driving the jeep is Officer Jenny.

\ This Island is strictly off-limits. Pinkan is a protected Pokémon Reserve. How did you all get here?" Jenny questions.

"It was an accident. We got caught in a whirlpool and washed up here," Tracey explains.

"Officer, you've got to hurry, or it'll be too late to save the pink Rhyhorn!" Misty says in panic.

Hearing the situation, Jenny asks, "Well, where is it, now?"

"Down there," Tomo says, pointing over the cliff.

Officer Jenny soon sees the Rhyhorn stuck on the branch

Then Jenny asks, "How did it ever get down there?"

"It fell. A Beedrill scared it, and got mad when it saw us, and chased us," Mew explains.

"You can tell me the details later, but right now, we have to save the Rhyhorn or it will fall into the ocean. And I'm going to need all of your help to do it," Jenny says.

"Sure," Tracey says.

"Wouldn't it be easier to catch it with a Pokéball?" Misty asks.

"You can only do that if a Pokémon's weak, and that Rhyhorn's anything but weak," Mew answers.

"She's right. Plus, this is a Pokemon Preserve and catching Pokemon is forbidden," Jenny says.

"You're right," Misty replies.

Soon, Mew and the others begin to see Jenny's plan in action.

Misty calls out, "Slow it down! They're almost there!"

Turns out that the plan is having Mew and Tracey down to help the Rhyhorn with ropes tied around their waists, long enough to tie the Rhyhorn to pull it back up.

"Just stay calm," Mew says.

"We're here to help you. Now, let's get it tied up," Tracey says.

"Okay," Mew says.

With that, Mew and Tracey begin to tie the ropes around Rhyhorn.

On the top of the cliff, Misty calls out, "Make sure you're careful!"

Soon, they're done, and Tracey says, "I think we're set."

Then Mew calls out, "Alright! We're ready when you are!"

"Okay! Just hang on tight!" Jenny says.

With that, Jenny backs up the jeep, raising the trainers with the Rhyhorn. Meanwhile, a periscope rises up, which belongs to Team Rocket's submarine. And soon, they have Mew and Tracey in their sight.

"It's just the twerp and.." Jessies says.

But zooms. closer and gasps in surprise to see the Rhyhorn, "Look at that!"

"What is it?" James asks.

"Meowth asks, curiously, "What do you see?"

"It's a pink Rhyhorn!" Jessie answers, amazed.

Interested, James asks, "Is it a shocking pink or more of a pastel pink?"

Meowth jumps on Jame's shoulder, "If we caught a pink Rhyhorn, we could sell it and make a fortune!"

Jessie laughs, "Alright, let's get to that island!"

However, Team Rocket's submarine is soon caught in a whirlpool.

Jessie becomes frightened, "Oh no! What's happening?"

Soon, Team Rocket realizes in fright, "We're caught in a whirlpool!"

Soon, the whirlpool begins to spin the submarine around and around.

Mewoth screams, "I'm getting UNDER seasick!"

Meanwhile, Mew and the others are finishing with their rescue mission.

Misty calls out, "Just a little further!"

"Pika Pika!" (They're almost up!) Pikachu calls out.

Down below, Mew, Tracey, and Rhyhorn are being pulled up.

Mew reassures Rhyhorn, "Hold on, Rhyhorn. We're almost at the top."

Rhyhorn replies,.

Seeing them coming, Misty says, "Steady."

"Eevee!" (Here they come!) Eevee says.

"Alright," Mew says.

With that, they reach the top of the cliff, and everyone helps the Rhyhorn get up. Soon, they complete their rescue mission.

"We did it!" Misty happily cheers.

The group unties the Rhyhorn and Mew observes it to see that it's fine.

Jenny rushes to Rhyhorn and asks, "Oh! Are you okay?"

Rhyhorn gets up with a calm growl, much to Jenny's relief, "That's great! Rhyhorn seems fine!"

Then Rhyhorn walks away calmly.

"Hey Jenny, how come Rhyhorn didn't attack you like it attacked us?" Tomo asks.

"With new people, the Rhyhorn gets nervous, and sometimes they attack. But that one knows me," Jenny answers with a chuckle, "Usually, that Rhyhorn is very shy."

"Aww," Mew replies with a smile.

Suddenly, they hear Tracey gasps in shock, "Look at this!"

"What's that matter, Tra.." Mew asks, but stops in shock.

The others look and are shocked to see Pikachu's red circle cheeks and tail is pink. Even Eevee's tail and fur collar are turning pink. Each of them also has a berry.

Mew kneels down to them in shock, "Pikachu! Eevee! Your tails are all pink!"

"Don't worry, it's just the Pinkan Berries," Jenny says.

"Pinkan Berries?" Mew says, confused.

Uh huh," Jenny answers.

Then explains, That's what makes all the Pokémon here on the island turn pink. Just take a look around, Mew. This is the only place in the world where Pinkan trees grow. The Pokémon grow up eating the berries off the trees and that's why they all turn pink.

"I guess there must be some kind of natural chemical in the berries that does it," Tracey says.

Mew asks, "Officer Jenny, will Pikachu and Eevee's tail stay pink like this forever?

"Don't worry, Mew. They only stay pink if they eat the berries all the time," Jenny answers.

Mew sighs in relief to see that the berries' effects are temporary.

Down at the bottom of one of the cliffs, Team Rocket is revealed to have washed up on the island.

"The whirlpool threw us up on the island," Meowth says.

"Please, Meowth. Don't mention throwing up," James says, feeling sick.

Jessie looks around as she says, "Stop whining. We've got to be on the lookout for that pink Pokémon."

"Let's go explore around," Meowth says.

With that, Team Rocket begins to explore the island to see if they can find the Pink Rhyhorn. They climb, walk around and into the forest. Suddenly, they come to a stop, and are astonished by what they're seeing. They see so many pokemon eating the pinkan berries, and all of the Pokemon inhabitants are pink.

"This is amazing!" Jessie says, amazed.

"I've never seen anything like it!" James says.

Even Meowth is amazed, "I can't believe it! The whole place is packed with pink Pokémon!"

"If we capture all these Pokémon, we could open our very own theme park!" Jessie happily says.

Soon, she begins to fantasize what it would be like. A large Pink color amusement park, with rides and a castle at the center. All the Pink Pokemon will be wearing hats, bows, and be part of a show. Even Arbok and Weezing are pink, putting on a show.

Jessie: I can see it all now!

And soon enough, they begin to sing.

Team Rocket:

Pinkey Land!

Come to Pinkey Land

Come and visit once a year

Come and spend your money here

It's so nice and twinkly, never stinky

Pinkey Land!

Soon, the fantasy ends and Team Rocket decide to go along with their scheme in capturing the Pink Pokemon.

"Let's get started!" Jessie says.

"Yeah! Victreebel, go!" James says, and throws his Pokeball.

When Victreebel is out, it instantly bites James on the head.

James panics, "Hey! Get off me! Stop! No! Cut it out! Not again!"

"We have a problem here," Meowth says.

Jessie then brings out her Pokeball, "We need us a Pokémon that can lick them all! This looks like the perfect job for, Lickitung!"

With that, Lickitung comes out.

James lifts Victreebeel off his head and says, "Look! A pink Lickitung!"

And Jessie smacks James with a paper fan on the face, and clarifies, "James, Lickitung has ALWAYS been pink!

"Another smack like that and YOU'LL be turning pink," Meowth replies.

With that, Lickitung moves towards two Nidoran who are enjoying a meal. When Lickitung is ready to attack, it scares the two Nidoran away.

"Lick, don't let them get away!" Jessie says.

With that, Team Rocket pushes Lickitung from behind, telling to hurry and catch the two Pokemon. Soon, the two Nidoran run into a cafe.

Meowth spots it, "Look! The Nidoran just ran into that cave!"

"Alright, Lickitung! Go get those Nidoran!" Jessie says.

Anf Team Rocket shoves Lickitung. Lickitung heads into the cave to catch the two Pokemon, but moments later, it runs out of the cave, whimpering and scared. It runs past Team Rocket, much to their confused looks.

James wonders, "What's wrong?"

"I wonder what it's whimpering about," Jessie replies.

Suddenly, they begin to hear stomping sounds.

"What's that?" Meowth wonders, starting to get scared.

They turn to the cave and coming out of the cave is a large, pink, and very angry Nidoking, with the young Nidoran standing in front. Team Rocket begins to panic.

James screams, "A pink Nidoking!"

With that, Team Rocket runs their lives as the Nidoking gives chase.

Meanwhile, Mew and the others arrive at Officer Jenny's office. There, she explains to them more about the island.

Jenny explains, "Pinkan Island has been declared a Pokémon refuge, and that's why visitors are strictly prohibited."

"We didn't mean to come here," Mew says.

"Well, I couldn't have rescued that Rhyhorn without you, so I'm not gonna press charges against any of you this time," Jenny says.

"Pika!Eev!" (Thank you!) Pikachu and Eevee reply.

Misty then turns to Mew, maybe we should give Professor Oak a call and tell him all about the pink Pokemon island."

"Good idea," Mew says.

Soon, Mew and the others call Professor Oak on the video phone and explain to them what
