He was flipping the pages of a book.

The library seemed to be boring him.

The words were repetitive and dulled him.

His eyes began to explore the window.

A bird glided down gently to the bush.

She nuzzled herself into the grand plant.

It closed its eyes and tilted its head down.

His eyes traced the graceful creature sleeping.

Her feathers appeared so silky and smooth.

As she breathed, her breast gently rose and fell.

The emerald greenery made her stand out.

Like a princess in a dress of flowers.

He turned to watch the bird napping sweetly.

Like a cherub resting upon a cloud,

Or a fire shimmering in the nighttime.

Her eyes opened slowly to see him there.

Her gaze turned away seeming quite bashful.

Yet she spread her wings, revealing her form.

His eyes lovingly studied the creature.

He noted all the tufts of her feathers.

She became shy and turned away from him.

She thrusted herself up into the sky.

Her elegance in flight was majestic.

He closed his eyes and now he fantasized.

He saw himself stretching his wings proudly.

Launching himself into the sky with her.

Flying beside her as the world gets small.

Becoming ballerinas on the clouds.
