a desolated place,
boundless space
may he rest,
or may he falter

only one truly knows,
how tempting it is to be erudite
but must suffer,

where does a human go?
when there is nowhere to go
where do an animal go?
when it is not believed for them

we make up figures,
to comfort what we don't know
we believe in figures,
to seek the fanciful path

when will we ever learn,
to obey?
