The sun was shining brightly on my black hair.

"How are you liking school so far, Sura?" Mingyu asked.

Minghao, Dokyeom and Mingyu decides to walk me to school today before they went to work.

"It's alright, honestly." I shrugged.

I squeezed Minghao's hand as I stared onto the stone sidewalk.

Dokyeom patted the top of my head, "The teacher said you're doing great in class!"

I stared at him as he smiled widely. A little smile came into my face as his face radiated, "Really?"

Dokyeom picked me up suddenly into the air, "Of course! We know you're the best! Everyone does!"

My cheeks grinned as Dokyeom was filled with happiness. How does he even do that? So contagious.

"Sura!" A voice called from behind me.

Dokyeom placed me down gently as I turned around.

It was Woohyun. He ran up to me from the entrance of the school.

"I was waiting for you!" He breathed heavily.

He was waiting?

He took a deep stare into my eyes and averted his glance to Minghao, Mingyu, and Dokyeom.

He had to stretch his neck to get a good look at them, "Yah, Sura. Where's your mom?"

My mom? Why would he ask about mother?

I scanned the sidewalks.

They were filled with children walking with their mother, hand in hand. Everyone had a mother.

"I don't have a mother anymore." I answered bluntly.

Mingyu squeezed my hand out of nowhere.

Woohyun had a questioned look. "Then all of you are Sura's dads?" He pointed.

Mingyu chimed in, "Of course! Sura has thirteen dads."

Minghao reached out for my shoulder, "And you are?"

Woohyun pointed his thumb on his chest, "I'm Kim Woohyun. I'm Sura's classmate and friend."

Friend? He's my friend?

Dokyeom chuckled, "Really? I hope you take good care of her for us."

Woohyun nodded confidently, "Of course! One day, I'll even be her boyfriend!"

Boyfriend?

Mingyu choked on his spit while Dokyeom laughed loudly.

I stared at Minghao who stood in awe, "Boyfriend?"

Mingyu patted the Woohyun on the head, "Well you'll have to talk about that to all thirteen of us."

I was still questioning what a boyfriend was.

"Sura, you should go ahead to class now." Minghao assured me from behind.

I turned around and nodded. All three boys bent down to my level and joined into one big embrace. My ribs were squeezed as if they were about to snap.

"Study hard and make lots of friends, Sura!" Mingyu encouraged as I walked over to Woohyun.

I turned over my shoulder to see them all waving excitedly at me and Woohyun, "Have fun! See you later, Sura and Woohyun!" They yelled.

I waved with a small smile as I turned around with Woohyun.

Minghao's POV

Sura walked straight into the school entrance with Woohyun by her side.

"That Woohyun boy." I commented.

Mingyu grinned, "He seems like such a troublemaker."

We turned around making our way towards the company building.

"I was scared to see Sura's reaction when Woohyun pointed out that she had no mom." Mingyu admitted.

I sighed, "Me too. Thankfully, he didn't push on the topic too much. That boy."

"Pretty bold of him to declare Sura as his girlfriend in front of three grown men." Dokyeom chuckled.

I nodded, "Very bold, indeed. He must not be scared at all."

Mingyu snickered, "I bet Seungcheol and Jeonghan would freak when they find out a boy is already confessing his love."

We all laughed as we imagined Seungcheol's protective and shocked expression would be as he received the news.

Sura's POV

"I can't believe you have thirteen dads!" Woohyun exclaimed as we went up the stairs.

I clenched onto my backpack straps as I wondered what boyfriend even meant.

"What did you mean when you said that you'll be my boyfriend?" I asked quietly.

He plastered a confident grin on his face, "I'll kiss you and hug you. Then I'll even marry you."

My face became red as his words were shocking. I've only known him for a couple of weeks. He probably doesn't mean it.

I ignored his unbelievable words as we entered the classroom.

Automatically, I heard whispers in the room. I took steps as I thought it was just my imagination.

Calm down, Sura.

You're just hearing things. I walked over to my desk as I laid down my backpack.

My breathing became faster as those whispers became louder.

Why is this happening now?

I looked outside the window and focused on the clouds.

The fluffy white clouds that reminded me of cotton.
