Sura's POV

"So, are you excited?" Seungcheol chimed from the driver's seat. Seungcheol turned the corner into the highway as he drove calmly.

I chuckled as I nodded, "Yeah. It's weird just leaving the hospital."

I looked out the window as we passed by multiple buildings. The outside world. It felt like forever since I've been in it. I don't even remember the way home or the way to school. It felt so much more different than that suffocating hospital prison.

Seungcheol smoothly drove the car until he parked right outside a unknown building. A building that looked nothing like home due to my limited and outdated memories.

"Hold on, Sura. I have to get something real quick. Let's head inside for a bit." Seungcheol turned off the engine as he stepped out the car.

I jumped out the car as I looked up and down the mysterious building. It was a solid rectangular shape as it had very limited windows. It was painted with such a generic shade of white.

What does Seungcheol want to do in such a mysterious building? I doesn't even have a sign or even any windows.

Seungcheol started walking to the single framed door which was placed strategically in the middle of the front of the building. I quickly caught up to him as he opened the door to a dark room.

I went ahead and stepped inside in front of Seungcheol. The door closed behind us as it left us in a dark room.

"Seungcheol?" I called out as I reached my arms out for a recognizable touch. Seungcheol didn't respond to my call. I started slowly walking forward as I tried to feel something.

Where's Seungcheol? And where's the light switch at least?

"Seungcheol! Seungcheol!"

Suddenly, in front of me, a candle was lit from the darkness.

A familiar five member group stood in front of me holding the single lit candle.

Nu'est?

What are they doing here?

"Sura!"

Ren immediately ran up to me as he squeezed me tightly in an embrace. My ribs felt slightly crushed for a good second.

"What are you guys doing here?" I questioned as Seungcheol didn't mention their presence.

Ren stood back up, letting Minhyun through to me.

"We came to give this to you."

He brought out a bouquet of flowers from behind his back. The bouquet had a variety of pink and yellow flowers. There were exactly five flowers bunched together.

I appreciatively accepted them with a shy smile. They brought flowers. For me?

"Thank you-"

By the time I brought my head up, they were gone. There were no more candles. The room instantly turned into pure darkness again.

"Ren? Minhyun?" I called out as darkness overcame me. God, how can I even see in this darkness? Where did they all go so quickly?

Then, another candle was lit.

Eleven people?

The Boyz! They're here too?

"Sura!" Sangyeon exclaimed as he too held a bouquet of flowers.

"You guys are here too! I've missed you!" I smiled as they all grinned with excitement and satisfaction.

Sangyeon gently ruffled my hair as he chuckled lightly under his breath. Each member admired the sight of me as I was finally discharged from the hospital.

"Well, these are for you, Sura." Sangyeon handed me the bouquet filled with blue, green, and white flowers.

"Welcome back, Sura!" Kevin chanted as Eric waved at me.

Then, the candle was suddenly blown out by Q with no warning.

"Guys?" I questioned as it became dark once again.

What is even going on? Why do the keep blowing out their candles? It's so dark in here.

I reached out my hands in hopes for a recognizable and comforting human touch.

Suddenly, another candle lit in front of me.

Monsta X!

"Sura!" Shownu shouted as he ran to embraced me tightly.

I chuckled as he squeezed me tightly into his arms.

"We missed you, Sura." Kihyun smiled sweetly as he held a lit candle.

His eyes reflected the dim candle light as he stared at me with a soft look.

Hyungwon came up to me as he gave me another bouquet of flowers, "And this should be for you."

It filled with 7 flowers of purple and pink varieties. The flowers were taking up all the space in my arms. I rustled the plastic covered bouquets in my limited space.

I took it gently as I stared at all of them, "Thank you. I missed you guys so mu-"

Before another reply, Minhyuk blew out the candle.

So soon?

I sighed as I waited for another candle to appear out of nowhere again.

Should be anytime now? Who would it be this time?

As expected, another candle lit.

This time revealing a single boy. A boy my height.

Woohyun.

The look of innocence and mischief on his face.

He hasn't changed at all.

"Sura!"

He instantly jumped into my arms, almost making me drop my flowers.

I squeezed my arms around him, "Woohyun."

He smelled the same too. The same scent of his shampoo.

"I was so worried about you. Geez, always making people worried." He scoffed as he looked me in the eyes.

I smiled as I nodded playfully, "Yeah. Sorry."

Woohyun suddenly revealed a single red rose from behind his back.

He cleared his throat as he averted his eyes in embarrassment, "Here. For you."

I chuckled as I gladly took it with an appreciative smile.

"Thank you, Woohyun."

His cheeks turned a slight shade of pink as he fidgeted with his clothes, "W-whatever. Welcome back."

Woohyun stood beside me as he placed his arm around my shoulder. I stared at his face as his sudden touch sent chills down my spine.

"Look."

Suddenly, candles lit up the whole room.

Each corner filled with such a dim light.

Candles placed strategically of the perimeter of the room.

It lit up the room with a banner saying "Welcome back, Sura!". The room was filled with colorful balloons along with beautiful decorations.

I gasped as my heart filled with excitement.

Everyone stood in front of the banner.

Nu'est, The Boyz, and Monsta X.

My dads.

All thirteen of them.

In front of me.

My eyes became teary as the sight of them touched my soul.

I actually get to see them again. I don't have to leave them again. I'm not leaving this world yet. I can stay with them longer.

"Welcome back, Sura." Seungcheol grinned with joy.

"We missed you a lot." Dino and Jeonghan shouted, cupping their mouths with their hands.

"We're glad you're back." Minghao and Jun smiled softly.

Seungkwan, Dokyeom and Hoshi waved at me, "Sura! You're back!"

Tears started rolling down into the flowers as I couldn't bear the situation. I couldn't be apart from them any longer. Not anymore.

I instinctively started running towards them.

They huddled around for a family hug.

The moment felt surreal.

This is my family now.

My real family.

I'm so happy.

This is fate.

Before I was born, this was all planned out.

They were my real family from the beginning.

Not my biological parents.

I'm just returning to them.

I just got lost for a bit.

But now.

I'm returning to my rightful owners.
