Ray was teaching the kids about the Protective Grid where they store the ghosts at and everybody was eating the last of their pizza. Venkman was taking a nap at the desk. Winston was reading a magazine. Ray was mid sentence.
"And when the light is green, the trap is clean." Ray explained and then he saw Venkman. "PETE!" Venkman woke up and looked around.
"What?" Venkman asked as he came to and Ray shook his head.
"If you could stay awake for more than 5 minutes that'd be great." Ray snapped and Venkman sighed.
"Why does it matter? I was just resting my eyes Ray." Venkman responded as he started to dose off.
"Peter! Out of respect for the kids, the next generation of Ghostbusters, come on man." Ray sighed and Venkman woke up and got to his feet.
"Yeah. Absolutely. We have to respect the children because I believe the children are our future. Mariah Carey sang it best." Venkman replied.
"That's Whitney Houston man. Get it right. Don't disrespect the legend." Winston corrected Venkman and Venkman waved his hand showing that he didn't care as he walked over to the mirror and started looking at himself, making sure he didn't drool on himself. Just then the phone started to ring and Ray walked over and answered it.
"Hello, Ghostbusters office." Ray sighed. "Uh-huh, yeah....absolutely, we charge a rate based on an multiple factors, but it never really goes higher than 3000 for the whole situation nowadays. We do have payment plans available if you need it though. Oh you don't, good. We'll be right over." Ray said and he hung up. "Ok, you kids have a good night. Lights out at 9 pm." Ray said and then Phoebe butted in.
"Oh come on can't we go with you?" Phoebe begged and Ray shook his head.
"No we need to train your kids properly. We promised your Mom." Ray responded.
"Well you can't legally leave minors here." Lucky pointed out. "By ourselves." Lucky pointed out.
"You two are almost legal." Ray added. "You can watch the younger ones."
"We already fought Gozer, how hard can this be?" Trevor added and Ray looked to Venkman and then Winston.
"What do you say fellas?" Ray asked and Winston shrugged and then Venkman nodded in agreement.
"I think they'll be just fine. Heck when we started out we didn't even know how to work the equipment. The only one who did was Egon. So they're already a step up from that." Venkman pointed out and Ray nodded.
"Ok, but you are not to go and wonder off on your own. You're to be with an adult at all times. Alright, let's suit up Ghostbusters." Ray said and then they all started to walk off but Ray and Venkman stood together. "Well.."
"You said stay with an adult at all times." Venkman said.
"I meant the kids." Ray snapped and Venkman nodded.
"Oh. Yeah that makes more sense." Venkman said and then he checked himself one more time in the mirror. He licked his thumb, and then walked away. As everybody left the room a darkness was lurking from within the mirror and from that darkness an evil female face appeared as it watched the team and then it slowly disappeared as it laughed evilly.........
Danny, Sam, and Tucker were fighting the Lunch Lady Ghost in the cafeteria at the high school. They were working together the best they could as mystery meat was flying in all directions and hitting them in the face.
"DANNY DO SOMETHING!!!" Sam shouted as she tried to avoid the meat tsunami.
"Like what?!" Danny yelled and Tucker let out a chuckle.
"I don't know, maybe get down on one knee." Tucker laughed and Danny and Sam both looked to him at the same time.
"SHUT UP TUCKER!!!" Danny and Sam both shouted.
"Dang guys. Don't your nuptials in a twist." Tucker continued to shout and Danny felt his power grow as he started glowing intensely and then he felt his ghostly wail trigger and the Lunch Lady Ghost was knocked into the wall and passed out. Sam walked over and sucked the Lunch Lady Ghost into the Fenton Thermos and Sam looked to Danny.
"Ok that was a bit melodramatic, don't you think?" Sam asked.
"You said, do something!" Danny shouted in his defense.
"That was a response to the whole marriage thing and you know it Daniel." Sam responded and Danny looked shocked.
"Sam you know I care about you deeply, it's just too early to be talking about that kind of stuff. We're still teenagers. We just started going towards our future and we just started dating a year ago." Danny pointed out and Sam rolled her eyes and shook her head.
"I mean technically you're right, but honestly you guys very clearly had a thing going on long before you started officially dating. I should know considering I was the constant third wheel in this relationship." Tucker stated and Danny turned to him.
"You are NOT a third wheel Tucker, you're my best friend." Danny corrected Tucker and Sam shook her head again.
"Oh so I'm not your best friend?" Sam asked.
"You're my girlfriend, he's my best GUY friend." Danny explained but Sam just crossed her arms at him. "WHAT?! ARE YOU ON YOUR PERIOD OR SOMETHING!? You KNOW I love you more than I love my own sister, so why are you being so mean to me?!" Danny snapped and Sam looked shocked as tears filled her eyes.
"You...you what?" Sam said and Danny looked confused.
"What? What did I say?" Danny asked.
"You said you love me." Sam sighed.
"Oh yeah....well I mean, I thought you knew that." Danny responded as he didn't see the big deal and Sam looked slightly frustrated.
"Considering you've never said those words to me before now, no I had no idea you felt that strongly towards me." Sam replied.
"Well....I do feel that way. I assumed you knew. No reason to make a big deal out of it Sam." Danny reacted shyly as he seemed unsure of what just came out of his mouth and Sam looked pissed and threw the Fenton Thermos at Danny. Danny caught it and looked at her in shock.
"WHAT?!" Danny yelled and Sam just shook her head at him. "You know you didn't used to be this way before we dated. Maybe we shouldn't be together if you're going to be sup uptight all the time!" Sam looked down as he had genuinely hurt her feelings. She then looked up.
"Well if you seriously think the first time you said the words, I love you, to me meant this little, maybe there's not a relationship to break up." Sam responded and Danny looked at her sadly and shook his head.
"Sam, I didn't mean it that way. I'm sorry. It IS a big deal. Your right and I'm sorry I tried to play it off like it didn't mean much. I just....I guess I second guessed myself after saying it because you didn't say anything back." Danny explained himself as he tried to make amends and Sam walked over to him and nodded.
"I get it you know. People have been making jokes about us being boyfriend and girlfriend long before we were ready to take that step and now that we have taken that step they're joking about us getting married. It's just getting really old, and I wish they would just let us take our time and enjoy this before we take the next step after this." Sam sympathized and Danny looked down sadly. "And hey," Sam gently put her finger beneath his chin and moved his face to look at her. "I love you too." Sam said and then she leaned in and kissed him. They parted and Tucker sighed.
"Always the third wheel, but I've got nothing better to do so it's fine." Tucker said and then three of them started to walk out as Danny put the Fenton Thermos away and wrapped an arm around Sam as they left. It was drizzling outside during this gloomy day as thunder banged in the distance. They walked past a puddle and as they didn't pay much attention to this normal pool of water that had accumulated on the side of the ground, there was something dark and sinister keeping an eye on them from within the puddle's reflection. This was the same sinister female face that had been eavesdropping on the Ghostbusters in another universe......
The Ghostbusters arrived at the Biltmore Millennium Hotel in New York as their new trainees tagged along for the small adventure. They were told to start in the ballroom and they did just that as they set all of their equipment up.
"Now, the hotel has reported a full blown free floating apparition of an old bellhop so things are about to get interesting." Ray explained and the kids nodded as they listened.
"How are we sure he's going to be here?" Trevor asked as Venkman rang a bell and the bellhop ghost quickly floated in with a cart. He saw the Ghostbusters and smiled evilly and charged at Phoebe. Ray and Venkman shot their proton pack and the ghost immediately got caught in the streams. Phoebe then took three steps back and shot her proton pack at the ghost. Lucky then slid the ghost trap underneath the ghost.
"Alright Phoebe, bring him down." Ray said. "Slowly. Remember," Ray started and Phoebe finished his sentence.
"Don't ross the streams unless it's Gozer or her dogs!" Phoebe shouted as they lowered the ghost to the trap.
"ALRIGHT Spunky now!" Venkman shouted.
"My names Lucky!" Lucky argued and Venkman rolled his eyes.
"Just hit the trap!" Venkman snapped back and Lucky smacked her foot down and the trap opened and sucked the ghost into it. After a minute they all took a breather.
"That was great work Phoebe. Nice job not hesitating." Ray sighed.
"Thanks. Like we said, we already fought Gozer, anything we face here should be a piece of cake." Phoebe responded and there was a moment of silence. "Hey, why did the germ cross the microscope?" Everybody slowly looked to Phoebe awkwardly. "to get to the other slide." Everybody looked a little disappointed as they stood there and then Podcast started laughing.
"I get it." Podcast giggled and then Venkman nodded.
"You know your grandfather once attempted a joke like that......it almost ended our friendship." Venkman sighed.
"It wasn't THAT bad. Gosh." Phoebe responded and Podcast nodded.
"It was good." Podcast said and Ray slightly smirked as he looked at the boy.
"It was pretty bad." Trevor disagreed.
"So you guys wanna go back to the firehouse and play a game or something?" Lucky asked the others and Trevor shrugged.
"Like what?" Trevor asked.
"I don't know. They had a really cool bathroom upstairs. We could play Bloody Mary." Lucky suggested.
"No you will not." Ray drew the line and Venkman rolled his eyes.
"OH here we go." Venkman sighed.
"No Pete. Children these days are always messing around with things they don't even understand. The paranormal is not a joke young lady. In that firehouse there will be no Ouija Boards, no seances, no One Man Hide and Go Seek, no midnight game, no elevator game, and definitely no Bloody Mary. Is that understood?" Ray laid out the guidelines.
"It's just a slumber party game that you play in a bathroom mirror, what's the big deal?" Lucky asked.
"Actually studies show that mirrors often act as portals to other dimensions, including but not limited to the Netherworld, alternate universe, and/or other spiritual realms." Podcast pointed out.
"It's just a game." Trevor reiterated.
"Yeah, and people have gotten possessed over less." Venkman added and Ray nodded in agreement as Phoebe started thinking about this game they had been talking about and looked kind of interested to touch the ethereal plane.
"Fine, we will play truth or dare then." Lucky caved and Ray nodded in approval.
"Sounds like a fun, safe, game. Great." Ray responded.
"Clearly you've never played it." Venkman laughed.
"Alright, let's head out." Winston started packing things up.
"You're forgetting a step Zeddy." Venkman pointed out and Winston looked confused.
"What?" Winston asked.
"Well, we've gotta get paid of course." Venkman responded and Winston nodded in agreement.
"I thought that was common sense Venkman." Winston replied.
"Alright well let's grab the cash and dash." Venkman stated..........
