 We were sitting on Dead Man's Peak, looking over the cove.

"You remember the plan, right?" he murmered. I smiled.

"Of course I do- who do you think I am?"

He playfully pushed me. "I want you to have something, Tiger."

He reached behing his neck and untied the string with the pixie dust. Carefully, he handed it over to me.

"What, you don't want this?" I asked.

"I don't need it. In fact, the less power I look like I have, and if I can't fly, the more the boy will trust me," he said.

I held it for a moment. "No, you keep it."

"Why would I do that?"

"To test the boy- if it works on him, if the dust glows, then you'll know, won't you? You'll know he's a true believer."

His confusion stretched into a smile. "You never cease to surprise me, Tiger Lily."

I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder.

We sat like that for what could have been seconds or minutes or hours- time is quite strange in Neverland.

He sighed.

"What's wrong?"

He rubbed my arm. "I'm not sure how to say this but-" he took a deep breath, "-I don't want you to join me when everyone comes."

I sat up straight. "What do you mean?"

"Listen, Tiger Lily... I love you. More than anything, and you and this island are all I have. This whole thing is to save my life, but without you..." he sighed again, "without you this whole island is no longer worth it. I can't lose you. And I need you to-"

I turned to face him. "Peter, you know how I feel about missing the action. Plus, we're good fighters- I'm a good fighter. How could you really think that I'd be hurt?" I stood up.

He looked down at his hands. "Also- there are other jobs I'll need you to do. Important things-"

"What, do you think I'm an idiot? Do you think I'm five? You think I'll believe you're 'I have a special job for you' bullshit?" He flinched. I looked down, down at the bottom of the cliff, where the waves crashed into the rocks.

"Tiger Lily, that's the opposite of what I think." He stood, too. "And I know it looks like I don't trust you, but you have to listen to me."

I turned towards him.

"There are some things that you need to do, for this whol thing to work. I was going to ask Felix but he's already used to being on the front line."

I sighed. "Fine. I suppose I'll do... what you need me to do," i said, falling back on to his shoulder. He caught me and put his arms around my waist. I giggled.

"What's so funny?" he asked.

"Nothing, it's just-" I laughed again. "This reminds me of a movie I saw once."

He tilted his head. "What's a movie?" he asked.

"It's like... like a book, but you can watch it, sort of like..." I thought for a bit. "Sort of like a vision, almost, but on a special screen. It's difficult to explain."

He held me, still. "What was this movie about?"

"It's about two people who fall in love on this cruise ship- which is sort of a ship people go on for vacation- but it gets into a crash and sinks."

"Do they die?" he asks.

I sigh. "The guy does. For a stupid reason, too. I mean he totally could have fit on that damn door-" I muttered.

"What?"

"Oh, nothing," I laughed. Then, after a moment, I sighed. "Alright, what do you want me to do?"

I felt him smile. "Your first task is to find a doll."

~~~
I couldn't quite understand why I needed to find a doll- he said something about losing it, but that it was absolutely important. Of course, there was probably only one other person who would know where it was.
I flew over to the cave, one with a little treehouse right above it.
"What the hell do you want?" her shaky voice came from behind me.
"Tink! How lovely to see you," I said in the cheeriest voice I could muster.
"Cut the crap, what do you want from me?" she said, reaching to the makeshift dagger sitting on her waisit.
I sighed, heavily. "I'm trying to find a certain object, for Pan- a doll, made out of cornhusk, with a felt coat.Sound farmiliar?"
She sneered. "I don't know. Maybe. Why would I ever tell you?"
"I dunno..." I said, thinking. "I'll leave you alone, maybe?"
"Oh please. As if I can't handle you." She pushed past me. I laughed.
"We both know that's not true," I said, laughing. She pulled out her dagger, I heard it. I turned and grabbed her wrist before she could even touch me.
Frustration passed over her face. "Fine. So I can't handle you. But I'm not going to help you."
She walked away. I rolled my eyes. "Come on, Tink. Please?" I pleaded. "There's no reason not to, I mean-"
"Of course there's a reason! You took the last of my pixie dust!"
I chuckled. "Is that what this is about?" Untying the string around my neck, I held the bottle of dust between my fingers. "If you help me, you can have this back. Deal?"
She looked at the bottle, then me, then the bottle again.
"Fine. Deal."
I smiled. "So, do you remember the doll now?"
