Perseus just wished that there was a way he could truly grasp and comprehend the previous day's events. A way that would be easy for him to truly get an understanding of what this new world was and how it operated. As soon as these thoughts go through his head the orange stone starts to glow and then Perseus sees the orange stone start to disappear as if he was absorbing the stone into himself.
Perseus didn't understand what was happening but before he knew it he had absorbed the entire stone. As soon as the process is complete he feels a rush of energy or what he assumes to be power flow through his very being. He then remembers everything from never having a beginning to the supposed end of his existence.
He smiles it seemed that the decision he chose was the right decision not only was he no longer alone but now he existed once more. He then stops smiling when he remembers that he was not currently whole and there were apparently other beings with power like his own. The thought that at this time there could be a being more powerful than himself greatly unsettled him.
However, this did not change his decent mood he had already acquired his memories and a portion of his power. At this time he was just Perseus the first being but sooner or later he will regain his power and be complete. When that happens he will no longer just be Perseus the first being he will be Perseus: The Omnipotent.
Now
3rd Person
Perseus didn't know exactly where he was however he did know that his power in the form of the orange stone had taken him here when he wanted a safe place to sleep and gather his thoughts. He gathered that his power was split into different parts and that each would have complete control of the part of the new existence they represented.
From this, he gathered that the stones could have a separate reality or dimension for themselves depending on what part of existence they controlled. If his theory was correct he thought that the portion of his power or the stone he acquired was what he was going to call the Soul Stone.
He comes to this conclusion by how after he defeated his enemies the golden dust they turned into was absorbed into the Soul Stone. This golden dust could be the enemies' souls meaning that the soul stone possibly trapped their souls in the separate reality or dimension that it has.
He believed that some of the stones or his power had their own separate realities or dimensions in order to have complete control of the part of existence they represent. All of this lead him to believe that he was currently in a part of the separate reality or dimension of the Soul Stone meant for himself or the possible wielders of the Soul Stone.
Once he comes to this conclusion he stands up from his position on the bed and has a quick look around the room he was in. The room was around the size of an average bedroom. The only piece of furniture in the bedroom was the bed that he had previously slept in. He assumed that with a single thought he could change the bedroom to his exact liking but at the moment he was not concerned with that he was more interested in figuring out his current plan of action.
In order to do this, he needed information: information on how exactly this new existence worked along with information on the other stone or portions of his power and what part of existence they represented. He planned on taking to whoever the woman was whether she was a goddess or just someone involved with the world of the Greek myth.
Not thinking too much more Perseus wills the alternate reality or dimension to take him to the souls of the beings imprisoned once he walks through the door to the room he was in. Once he was done willing the alternate reality or dimension to do what he wanted he walked to the door of the room and walked through it to the other side.
On the other side of the door, there was what he assumed to be two extremely comfortable prison cells. The prison cell for the woman was basically just like a normal bedroom with the only real noticeable difference of having iron bars like a cage instead of having normal walls. As for the prison cell for the hellhound, it looked like a bedroom as well just without any furniture and the only real noticeable difference being the same as the other cell.
Perseus quickly wills the alternate reality or dimension to create a chair right in front of the prison of the woman. He then takes a seat in the chair while observing the woman. The woman or Nike was just watching him with interest not seeming at all concerned about her current situation.
Perseus was still wondering what his power over the soul could do. If his theory was correct he believed that he has complete and total control of the soul meaning that he could make anyone or anything do what he tells them to do no matter how powerful they are. He also came to the conclusion that he could only do this to beings that he defeats and sends their soul to the alternate reality or dimension of the Soul Stone or the portion of his power.
Deciding to test his theory he turns away from the woman, looks to the hellhound, and commands "Spin around in a circle five times."
Without any hesitation, the hellhound proceeds to spin in a circle five times. Nike didn't seem surprised she had come to the conclusion that the boy and hellhound were working together to get her in this situation and the reason she felt that the boy would be part of a major victory was because he was going to defeat her the literal Goddess of Victory.
Perseus turns back to the woman or Nike and decides what he wants to do. He then commands "Now I am going to ask you a series of questions and you will answer all of them truthfully."
"Who are you?" Questions Perseus.
"I am Nike the Goddess of Victory." States Nike who seemed to be in a trance.
"You are a Greek Goddess are you not?" Questions Perseus.
"Yes, I am a Greek Goddess although I am not only a Greek Goddess." States Nike still in the trance.
"What exactly do you mean?" Questions Perseus having an idea as to what she was going to say.
"I am also technically a Roman Goddess. You see when the Romans used the Greek "myths" to create their own "perfect" version of the "myths" their belief in those "myths" caused most of us Gods and Goddesses to have a new form more similar to their new version of the "myths." States Nike still in her earlier trance.
"So are the Greek Gods and Goddesses the Gods and Goddesses of every other mythology that exists just as different forms?" Questions Perseus.
"No there are other Gods and Goddesses of other "mythologies" that make up other pantheons separate from the Greek and Roman pantheon." States Nike still in a trance.
"So are you saying that basically, every mythology that is known is real whether part of the information known is fact or not?" Questions Perseus feeling excited about the plan he was coming up with.
"Yes and No. Just about every major mythology that is known still exists today but some of the mythologies not as well known have long since faded." States Nike still in a trance.
"What do you mean by faded exactly?" Questions Perseus.
"You see once we Gods and Goddesses revealed ourselves we were worshipped this made us extremely more powerful than we already were but when the mortals worshipping a pantheon stopped believing the Gods and Goddesses of the pantheon were made so weak that they ceased to exist." States Nike still in a trance.
"What pantheons of Gods and Goddesses live in the United States?" Questions Perseus.
"The most well-known pantheons that even partly reside in the United States are the Greek and Roman pantheon, the Egyptian pantheon, and the Norse pantheon." States Nike still in a trance.
"What do you mean by partly reside?" Questions Perseus.
"For the most part, the Greek and Roman pantheon live in the United States however the Egyptian and Norse pantheons live in separate realms from here but most of their current influence resides in the United States." States Nike still in a trance.
"Is there anything going on in the mythology world right now that I should know about?" Questions Perseus having a feeling that something was happening that would interest him.
"Yes at this point in time the Titan Kronos is rising along with other Titans and they plan on starting another Titan war with the Olympians in order to regain their power." States Nike still in a trance.
"I noticed that you only said the Olympians and not the Gods and Goddesses of the Greek and Roman pantheon is there any reason why?" Questions Perseus having a good idea as to what the reason may be.
"Most of the Olympians treat the minor Gods and Goddesses as inferior because of this most of them are planning to side with the Titans during the upcoming war." States Nike still in a trance.
"Do you personally think the Olympians will win the upcoming war?" Questions Perseus.
"No now that they do not have the minor Gods and Goddesses siding with them plus the lack of the major power boost they had the last time I believe they will be utterly obligated in the war." States Nike still in a trance.
"I am mostly following with what you are saying but what is this major power boost that you speak of?" Questions Perseus.
"Well during the Titan war every mortal in Greece who knew of the Gods, Goddesses, and Titans existence worshipped the Gods and Goddesses because they were fighting the Titans the very beings who used them for entertainment.
This worship gave them a huge power boost since this worship was not just the average worship from a mortal this worship was worship of all the mortals in Greece wanting the Gods and Goddesses to be strong enough to win the war." States Nike still in a trance.
"This is why the Olympians are going to be destroyed without the support of the minor Gods and Goddesses they lose more power along with not having a big power boost in the first place or having as much power as they had back in the days when there was no conflict and they were just worshipped.
With the major power boost during the last war, they had a good chance with the not as major power boost from the days of just being worshipped they stood less of a chance but now I would say that Kronos could defeat all of the Olympians in a fight by himself." States Nike still in a trance.
(A/N I have seen a version of what was just stated used in a few other fanfictions and I can say that I think at least some of it has to be true so I am going to use it in this story. For those of you wondering how the Olympians could possibly beat Typhon the second time I will go over that in a future chapter.)
"So there are Primordials, Titans, and Gods is there anything else that is similar to these beings?" Questions Perseus.
"Yes there is a set of beings that are similar to the Primordials, Titans, and the Gods they are called the Giants." States Nike still in a trance.
"Who are the Giants?" Questions Perseus who had never heard of them despite having classes focused on Greek and Roman mythology.
"When Gaia found out about the Titans fall she was enraged so with the help of Tartarus she created the Giants who are the banes of the Olympians and beings who require a god and a demigod working together in order for them to be defeated. After a long war, the Giants were defeated so Gaia went into a deep slumber." States Nike still in a trance.
"Do you know what the orange stone I was holding earlier is?" Questions Perseus.
"I do not know what the orange stone you were holding earlier is however I can tell you that Athena may know and if she does not she most likely will have information on the object in her library." States Nike still in a trance.
Perseus had asked all of the questions he wanted answers to and he was pretty happy with the answers he received so he states "That is all of the questions that I have for you at this time you are free to relax."
In the next second Nike is released from her trance and she remembers everything that happened during the trance to say she was horrified would be an understatement. She didn't even know the being's name and yet she was more scared of him than she was Kronos what kind of being has the power to make an immortal Goddess do whatever he commands.
While Nike was recovering from the trance Perseus had stood up and was about to walk through the door until Nike had the courage to speak. "What are you going to do?" Questions Nike slightly worried about her safety while doing so.
"What am I going to do? Well, I am going to take over the Greek and Roman pantheon of course." States Perseus amused at the look of fear that crossed Nike's face.
"The Olympians and the Titans will not let you." States Nike as if it was that simple.
"I said I am going to take over the Greek and Roman pantheon not just the part of the pantheon in the United States. I am going to take over everything from Olympus, Othrys, the Underworld, and Tartarus itself." States Perseus as if what he said was completely normal despite the look of complete fear that crossed Nike's face.
