"You will three will be in charge of enemies trying to run ahead, and you four will be in charge of helping take down tanks," Commander was currently in a meeting with his rangers in the strategy room. He had taken Swordmaster's advice and was slowly building up when they got further in.
He would have his convoy of towers stay back each section so they could properly whoop each boss's ass without using too many towers and supplies before they got to their main goal, the Totality Tower.
"However, I'm not letting this camp be left unattended. I'll have some snipers keeping watch, but I need a ranger to do so," Commander looking around, expecting someone to speak up.
Black Ops Ranger raised his fingers, signaling over, "Eh, I'd rather not see this camp be curbstomped. I got ya." Commander nodded, Black Ops Ranger was very trustworthy.
"Other squadrons I've met with know, while we are away, you will taking orders from Spring Commander and Bunny Commander," Commander instructed as he began to write down his ranger strategy on paper. When he heard a snort, he looked up with an eyebrow raise.
All of them were quiet, most of their expressions kept hidden behind face gear. Commander sneered, "I picked them because they can send supplies our way on a timely manner. Besides, I needed a second commander to stay here to welcome the new recruits."
One ranger spoke up, "New recruits?" Commander nodded and thinned out his strategy map, "They call themselves the Phantom Regiment."
"Bunny! You're okay!" Medic rushed over and put her most timid medic into a bone crushing hug. Bunny Medic squeaked out, getting the air squeezed out of her.
Medic finally did let her go and began to check over her, despite the other medics having done that at least ten times now. She was in the middle of a crossfire and was in the grip of an out of control titan. She was lucky only to have been a bit shaken up.
"Medic- Medic! I'm okay, Warden had caught before I had hit the ground!" Bunny Medic pleaded, trying to escape the worrying mama bird.
"Good thing he was there to catch you. You tell him thank you?" Medic asked, trying to pinch at Bunny Medic's cheeks. Bunny Medic squirmed away from the touching and held her cheeks with her hands to prevent them from getting pinched, "Not yet, we've been really busy. We don't have time to be chatting-"
Bunny Medic squeaked as Medic wrapped an arm around her and began to drag to where she knew Warden would be exactly right now. "Come on, I'm sure he'll really appreciate you thanking him for saving you! You two sit next to eachother all the time in the medical lobby!"
Against her will, Bunny Medic was dragged across the camp and all the way to camp's personal gym. Towers like Sledger and Gladiator were helping themselves to the equipment as their fighting styles involved endurance and upper body strength.
Others were there too to keep up their cardio and physical activity, especially with a big war in just less than two days. The place was busier than normal, but there was always one spot that one tower always went to, and everyone knew to let him have that spot. It was sort of a "he owns that" kind of deal.
There was a heavy sandbag, thick leather kept it from breaking so easy. His fists were wrapped with bandages so he didn't damage his skin underneath. Each punch sounded painful, like it could knock a man dead. Bunny Medic felt let she was walking into a dog fight ring where the dogs could just turn on you.
As the two medics approached, they stopped to watch Warden do his set on the unfortunate punching bag. It had tape on it, clearly having been damaged before by hits a bit too rough.
Sweat pooled down him, soaking his tank top he had on. Bunny Medic cringed a bit at the man smell all up in this building, but she just couldn't help but watch the way he just glowed while pushing himself to his limits.
When Medic nudged her a bit, Bunny Medic snapped out of it and shuffled away a bit, embarrassed by Medic. Medic giggled a bit and went up ahead without Bunny Medic to call Warden over.
"Hey there, Warden! Give that poor punching bag a break. Someone is here to see you," Medic called over, making Warden pause and turn around. When he saw Bunny Medic, he instantly lit up and stopped his set, walking pass Medic who gladly stepped to the side.
"Hey," Warden breathed out, out of breath from his workout. Bunny Medic looked up at him and twirled her fingers a bit. She was never good with talking with someone outside of her work.
Looking over at Medic, she had a stupid look at her face with two thumbs up, encouraging Bunny Medic to keep on going. Bunny Medic swallowed down her nerves and stammered up at Warden.
"I just wanted to... thank you for catching me... before I fell.. on the ground-" Bunny Medic felt herself shrinking each time she paused, her voice growing a bit more timid each tine.
Instead of worrying about her sudden timidness, Warden chuckled and brought Bunny Medic into a side hug, crushing the poor petite lady. Bunny Medic squirmed, finding man smell not as plesent up close.
"There is no need to thank me! I was just simply doing what anyone would of done!" Warden brought his other hand over and gave her a noogie, making Bunny Medic scrunch up and squeeze out. Bunny Medic took a moment to catch her breath. She was now covered in guy sweat and her hair was messed up.
"Say, if you got some time, wanna try out the punching bag?" Warden stepped aside, offering it to her. Before Bunny Medic could refuse, Warden got a better idea. "Wait! You should use me instead! I should test my pain resistance," Warden stood in front of Bunny Medic, hands on hip and waiting.
Bunny Medic was trying to sputter out the words, but Medic was just encouraging her. "You should do it! Show him what you're made of!" Medic cheered her on. Bunny Medic managed to squeak it out finally, "I-I can't hit you!"
Warden grinned, "Sure you can! Come on, no hard feelings whatsoever! Besides, I want you too!"
Bunny Medic pondered on it, the faint peer pressure from the other two didn't help. Caving in, Bunny Medic got into a fight stance. Medic cheered, "Bring him down!"
"O-Okay... Here it comes!" Bunny Medic reeled back, gathering up strength. With all her might, she flew her fist forward, straight to Warden's chest.
It was like a stuffed toy hitting him. He barely felt a thing, mostly because that little sad excuse of a punch was barely a thing. Bunny Medic pulled her fist back and looked up, waiting for a reaction.
Warden looked down with an eyebrow raise, "Going to hit me for real this time?" Bunny Medic's lip quivered, "B-But that was the hardest punch of my life!"
Medic rushed over and whispered into Warden's ear, "She's soft. Super soft! That was the most violent I've ever seen her get!" Warden had a look of "ohh" to him as her stared down Bunny Medic.
"Well, we could... you could spot me during a bench press!" Warden offered. Bunny Medic shook her head, "I couldn't lift the weights!" Warden frowned, this was going nowhere. "Well what can you do here?" Warden asked.
All Bunny Medic could do was look down in shame. There was nothing in a gym she could do, she was too soft for a place like this.
"I should just get back to work. There's too much to do," Bunny Medic hurried off quickly, mostly wanting to get out of this place full of man smell. Warden huffed as he began to unwrap his hands, "Why you even being her in here? She's too lady like for a place like this."
Medic just shrugged, "Just thought you two were cute." Warden went red in the face and went to grab Medic, who was already hurrying away.
The remaining titans watched Void Reaver silently flexed his arm, the one that wasn't stitched up and bandaged. None of them wanted to go up to the clearly agitated titan. They could only imagine what was going through his head.
"Should we... talk to him?" Molten Boss whispered over to the others. Sinister huffed out, "I think he'll tear our heads off if we dare go near him."
Void Reaver had been doing nothing but waiting for Swordmaster to return, but it had been hours. He had the titan's other sword too, having kept it by his side after the tower doctors helped remove it.
Of course, the towers were still pretty pissed at him, Commander especially. He had been refusing to let the titans, even Fallen King, into the strategy room. They were thinking that maybe Commander was rethinking this whole alliance. That would be stupid, they were so strong and could bring down those threats with ease.
However, their credibility was on the line after the incident with Gravescout. They were being a bit reckless, but it was hardly their fault. They were titans, they don't know tower customs.
"I think we should just train..." Nuclear King said, grabbing his battle axe and heading off else where. It was better than staying here and watching Void Reaver brood and pout.
The others followed Nuclear King's suggestion and left, but Fallen King found it best to just lurk around the camp, mostly the outskirts. He felt that he was not wanted by Commander at this time.
He wondered a bit out from the walls of the camp. Even if something happened, one of those snipers would see it and report it. Fallen King wouldn't be surprised if he was being watched right now. He was used to it though, he barely got time away from any nosey eyes. He didn't mind it though, he was very relaxed most of the time.
Much like Void Reaver, it took a lot to get him really angry. That's what made him so favorable to his army of his creations. He would never admit it to these towers, but he would let his guardians crawl up to him and get real close. They were special to him that's for sure.
As much as he missed them, he had to leave them behind. His army would get wsy too aggressive here with all these towers. He only hopped they were okay.
The rustling of leaves had his head snapping over and his hand flying to the handle of his sword, ready to slice it out of its holster. He knew the rustlings of small forest animals, but this one was bigger. Not as big as him, but defiantly something that shouldn't be so close to him right now.
The rustling got closer, yet the granite king refused to budge or flinch. He was mostly curious, but he would kill it without second thought if it dared try ans go after him.
Instead of it being some squirrel or even a dear that Fallen King half expected it to be, he was surprised to see a zombie fall from out of the tree and to his feet with a groan. This was no zombie that any of the titans here owned. It was dressed in medieval armor, the helmet having fell off its head after it had fallen.
The zombie grunted as it snagged its helmet back up and put it back on. As it tried to get up again, it happened to look up and up and see who it has fallen in front of.
The zombie tried to scramble back, but it was clear it had a broken leg. That made escape futile. Fallen King could only assume, since he couldn't pinpoint who it belonged to, that this might one of the enemy's minions.
Fallen King pulled his hand away from his sword and reached down, snagging the armored pike up. "I think we have some questions to ask you..." Fallen King grumbled. Despite the silent pleads to be let go, Fallen King turned back to the camp with hostage in hand.
