Commander clicked around his computer. It was a slow day. There was no Titans wanting to battle and any chores needed to be done were basically finished. Most of the Towers spent the time to play some outdoor games or to get in touch with loved ones back home.

How was Commander spending his free day? Watching cat videos of course! He chuckled at the video he was watching; a cat being scared by a cucumber.

A knock at the door had him panicking as he hurriedly closed out his tab. Clearing his throat, he put his hands together and called, "Come in!" Scout opened the door and entered, closing the door behind him.

"Ah, Scout. Anything needed?" Commander usually knew if Scout came in, someone needed something approval or help on. "The military drivers asked if they could take the four wheelers out and drive them around. They wanted to make sure they ran properly and to do any maintenance needed on them."

Commander pondered on it. It was probably an excuse to have some fun, but why not? He trusted they would do the required maintenance too.

"Have your fun. Just make sure not to cause any needed repairs. Also, the drivers are the only ones using them. They actually know how to drive them," Commander allowed. Scout got visibly excited and ran out, not being able to wait to tell the others.

Commander simply shook his head, they were going to break something. He was just about to get back to watching cat videos when Medic entered. She had her clipboard in hand.

"Need anything?" Commander asked. "No, just trying to escape the medical ward. What made you get Scout so happy?" Medic smiled as she sat down in one of the cushioned arm chairs. It wasn't exacrly comfortable but it was a place to sit.

Commander could only lightly cough into his hand. "I gave them permission to drive the four wheelers around," he admitted. Medic looked at him in disbelief, "I'm not dealing with any ran over Towers."

The two laughed at the joke. Commander didn't mind Medic being in here, the two had a lot of work on their plates and they liked to complain to each other. It made working less irritating.

"You find it odd that no Titans having been wanting to fight basically this whole week? I could understand Molten Boss and Fallen King, but Gravedigger usually likes to get out and be a trouble maker," Medic noted. She was going through her clipboard, probably some confusing medical stuff.

Commander nodded as he opened RoTube, "They probably want a break. Not that I'm complaining." Commander smiled as found another cat video he was interested in.

"Yeah, but the last time something like this happened was when that freak snow system came through. Not even Frost Spirit would come out," Medic explained. She looked over and pouted at seeing Commander not listening.

Medic huffed and got up, walking over to see what he was watching. "You'd rather watch cat videos then listen to an important conversation?" Medic grumbled.

"What's so important about it? Look, just relax. Enjoy the day! Don't you have your 'research' to take care of?" Commander wasn't looking away from the screen, he was instead laughing at the cat popping a balloon.

Medic glared at him, "I hate you." As she walked out, Commander responded in a mumble, "Love you too."

Medic's heels clicked against the concrete floor as she made her way to the medical ward. As the head medic, she had her own personal office in the medical ward. Nobody was allowed to go in without her being there. Even then, she rather talk outside her office.

It also became her bedroom as she worked so much. That was another reason why she didn't want anyone in there as she was ashamed with the set-up. But it let Medic be close to them.

Nobody stopped her down the hall like they usually did. Everyone pretty much looked up to Medic like a second Commander. It was stressful, but she always forced herself to do the work.

Everyone was either outside or in their rooms. She didn't dare walk through the housing hall as she'd probably hear Towers using their free time for other activities she'd rather not think about.

Medic pushed through the medical ward doors and went up to the medic working the front counter. "Anybody come in while I was gone?" Medic asked. The other shook her head, "Someone did come in but it was only to drop off a forgotten box of medical gloves. They were distributed and stored away."

Medic thanked her and left for her office. She was wondering where their shipment of medical gloves were, good to see they were delivered. Taking out her keys, she stuck the appropriate one into the dead bolt of her office door and unlocked it with a click.

Turning her key and pulling it out, she pocketed them back up and flicked her light on. She sighed, it was a mess. There was papers everywhere, some old food, and her trash can was long overdue to be taken out.

Medic closed her door and turned the lock. She ran a finger against the blurred glass of her door and grimaced. It was dusty. This could be a good time to clean, but that meant walking around in heels. Medic kicked off her heels and tossed them onto her bed.

She sniffed, maybe she should start by throwing away some stuff. Medic reached into her desk and pulled out a trash bag. Why did she have a whole box of those? She has anything.

It didn't take long for Medic to stuff the bag full of both old paper and trash. It looked a lot better already! She tied the bag and dropped it by her door. She could always deal with it later.

Medic plucked a can of citrus air freshener from her shelf and gave the room a good spray. Inhaling the sweet smell, she flopped onto her bed. She let the can role onto the bed. Medic actually felt a bit better.

She rolled off her medical coat and tossed it at the foot of bed. Itching at her ankles, she tossed of her cute pair of llama socks. Now this was a break. But a small rattle from her closet had her sitting up.

Medic thought. It was suppose to be a free day. If something popped up, her other medics could surely deal with it. Getting up, Medic pulled out her keys from her medical coat and walked over to her closet. As she began to unlock it, she could hear the chains begin to violently shake. She smiled, they were getting excited.

Opening the closet door, she was unfazed as three basic zombies began to try and push forward, eager to get to the doctor. The trio consisted of a Normal, a Speedy, and a Slow. This was Medic's research.

They were chained against the floor and walls. There was of course scratch marks and cracks in both the walls and floor, more from the Slow than anything. It would be a suicide to go in, but that was what Medic did.

With a shake of her keys, they pulled back and crouched down. "Good boys. I expect you to behave. All of you," Medic stepped over and started with the middle zombie; the Normal.

They were so excited as she came into grabbing distance. They would bump their heads against her, wanting her to give them affection. But she had to push them off multiple times as she worked on unlocking the chains.

"Alright! Alright! Calm down! It takes me a minute," Medic couldn't help but laugh as they lovingly pushed against her. It didn't take long to free the Normal and Slow but the Speedy was getting too excited.

The other two had already wandered out while Medic took the challenge of keeping her final zombie still. As soon as she unlocked the last piece, she was engulfed in a skinny pair of arms.

"I know, you love me. I love you too. Come on, let's go out," Medic had to fight to get up, but she managed to get her footing and push up despite being weighed down. She stepped out of the closet to see the other two looking around her stuff.

At seeing Medic coming out, they stepped over to her, waiting. She was surrounded, they could easily turn this room into a blood bath. But they would never. They love Medic too much.

"Alright, what do you three want to do? It's a free day!" Medic told them. She knew they wouldn't understand her that well, but she found out they knew basic words.

Understanding her, they pressed closer to her. The Speedy still had his arms around her. Medic lightly laughed, "Alright. Come on."

"Share the green! Quit hissing at each other," Medic was sitting on her bed, a sleeping Slow zombie nestled his head on her lap. His arms were wrapped around Medic's waist. Medic had given the other two crayons and paper.

The Normal handed the green over to the Speedy, who gave a quick hiss before coloring again. Medic could only smile. It was like raising children, except these ones could actually eat you alive. Wait, didn't actual children work like that too?

Medic didn't want to find out, she'd much rather have these guys. She scratched the side of the Slow's head, earning a low grunt and a shift. It was pretty quiet, she hadn't had anyone knock on her door and the sound of crayon on paper didn't bother her.

Some grumbling caught her attention though. Looking over at the two coloring, she was surprised to see that they were communicating with one another. That was odd, she's never seen them do that.

They were speaking in garbles and pointing down at the paper. Sometimes one would draw something, but Medic couldn't see it. Her eyes widened when the Normal pointed at her and garbled.

They gathered their paper and got up, walking over to Medic. The Slow had woken up, hearing the other two speaking. He got off of Medic's lap and sat against the wall, still very much tired.

"What is it, boys?" Medic asked as she took the drawings. Looking through them, they started off as normal. She couldn't help but smile at a few, like one of herself. She'd hang that one up.

But after moving aside a picture of a tree, her heart thumped. Not out of love, but out of utter shock. It was Gravedigger.

The three zombies were from a fight with Gravedigger, but they never drew him or even had any reaction towards photos. But here it was. But it wasn't just some normal Gravedigger, his eyes were crossed out in black and there was red spilling from his head. Like he was dead.

This seemed to be the Speedy's drawing as it was so crudely drawn. Medic flipped to the next one and it was the same, but drawn better. It was Gravedigger laying down, his eyes crossed out and red spilling from his head, pooling around him.

Turning to the next one, it was a bunch of stick figures surrounding what seemed to be a dead Gravedigger. As she studied these drawings, the Slow took the better drawn dead Gravedigger.

Medic was about to yell at him to give it back, but she watched in astonishment as the Slow began to write something above Gravedigger.

The other two were uneasy now. They didn't want to be near their own drawings and they were wandering around the room. The Slow handed back the paper with the now written word.

Medic read it and something clicked inside of her. She had to tell Commander and bring the evidence with her.

"In the closet, I'll get you out when I get back. Come on, in," Medic hurried them into the closet, which they obeyed. Medic locked them in and grabbed her lab coat, throwing it on. She slipped on her heels and gathered the drawings.

Looking down at the one the Slow wrote on, she swallowed the spit that built up. Medic opened and left her office, locking it back up behind her. Her heels rapidly clicked down the hall as she hurried to catch Commander in his office.

Above the drawing of Gravedigger, the Slow only wrote one word. Medic didn't know they could write, but he had told her something that answered her question of why no Titans were attacking.

"DEAD..."
