"You lovebirds okay?" I looked up to see Judah standing over us with a furrowed brow, "we wondered where you guys went let me tell you I wasn't expecting this. Did you find your friend?"

Chuckling I pulled away from Damon trying to discreetly wipe my eyes from any remaining tears.

"No," I sighed quickly, sending Maddie a text to make sure she was okay. "There was an incident."

Lukas didn't say anything, his eyes just darted down to Damon's knuckles which were coated in his dried blood. They had been split open when he punched Sean yet they had already healed. "Her friend went home with a hunter who wanted to start a fight."

"She still went home with him?"

Rolling my eyes I leaned further into Damon's side, "their relationship is weird. She's a bit dependent on him. They had broken up before we went out tonight but..." I shrugged, "it is what it is."

"Are you alright? I hope you got a good punch in."

Laughing, Damon stood stretching his hand down to help me up, "of course I did," he smirked, "bastard didn't even land a hit on me."

"Good," Lukas clapped him on the back before turning to me, "you alright?"

God I hated when people asked that. "Yeah," I sniffled a watery smile stretching across my face, "it's just been a long night."

"Well I'll see you in about a week Damon?"

They said goodbye to one another with one of those quick bro-hugs before separating quickly, Lukas leaving to meet with the rest of his pack. By now the rest of the club had emptied and the street was chaotic with everyone trying to work out different ways home. We wandered down until the street got emptier.

"How were you planning on getting home?" Damon's voice echoed in the quiet street even though he whispered.

"I actually don't know," I frowned, "it was up to Maddie. How were you planning on getting home?"

His cheeks flushed pink, "I was planning on running home," he scratched the back of his neck with his free hand. "Shifted."

My teeth pressed against my bottom lip as I dragged it into my mouth, "oh, I'm sorry for ruining your plans."

"They don't have to be ruined." The air around us was so thick you could cut it with a knife. "I could carry you back to yours."

There was never a moment that I was around him when my heart was steady. I had wondered about his shifter, what he looked like when he was shifted. I just never thought I would get to see. Now I've been presented with the opportunity I couldn't just say no.

"Okay," my voice was barely above a whisper. He still heard me though. His eyes widened as if he expected me to say no and a small smile formed on his face.

"Okay," he repeated before turning down a side road, "you don't need to watch this, it can be a bit gruesome."

Deciding to take his word as gospel I turned my back to also give him some privacy as well. I could hear him unbuckle his belt dropping it to the ground with the rest of his clothes. My core tightened at the thought. God was I becoming so desperate that even the sound of him undressing got me turned on?

The sound of footsteps behind me made me turn around. He was beautiful. His fur was a shade of brown that was almost black. He stood taller than me even in this form, which was intimidating to say the least. His eyes were no longer that shade of grey but instead ruby red. His paws had small flecks of white on them, some stripes of white followed up his front legs stopping before his elbows? I have no idea what they're called but on a human they'd be elbows.

"Hi," I tried to smile like he was actually a wild wolf that I could scare off. Damon snorted, his wolfy head gesturing behind him to the pile of clothes that he had left. Quickly, I bundled them up in my arms before looking back over at him. "You might need to get down."

If shifters could laugh then that's what he just did. He dropped to his belly giving me more than enough room to hop on. I swung one leg over before he rose onto his feet again as I gripped onto his fur.

"Don't go too fast," I asked him, "we've got all the time in the world."

He snorted again before taking off like a rocketship. I felt like I was flying through the woods as he darted through the trees. I'd never felt more alive. Underneath me Damon moved with such agility that it shocked me that he could move so fast. He ran through the woods and I could see the sun start to rise through the dark green leaves of the evergreen trees turning them lighter.

We had been out for hours but it hadn't felt that long like everything had happened within a short hour and not over eight.

When we arrived at my flat, the birds were chirping outside their watchful eyes following us as we stopped outside the building. Hopping off of his back, I set his clothes down in front of him before turning around to give him privacy.

When I turned back around, he was standing in only his jeans, his toned stomach flexing with every movement he made.

Digging through my bag I found my keys turning to unlock the door to get into my block of flats. Why was Damon not behind me?

"What are you doing?" I asked frowning at him. He was standing in the same position as he had been when he shifted back with a puzzled look on his face. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah," he shook his head like he was clearing his thoughts, "what are you doing aren't you going in?"

We must've been tired since we were both not on the same wavelengths at all. I assumed he'd be staying at mine after we got back but he was acting like he didn't want to... or maybe drunk me was reading into it far too much.

"Aren't you coming?"

His eyebrows furrowed for a moment before he smirked coming closer to me, every muscle in his chest flexed as he moved hovering over me. His scent invaded my nose like how everything about him invades everything about me.

"I didn't realise you wanted me to," his words were a whisper on my cheek. He was so close to me. "If you do, then of course. Just lead the way."

His words rendered me speechless and I twisted in his embrace so I could quickly unlock the door to the building before sighing once I remembered the amount of stairs I'd need to climb up.

"Want me to show you something cool?"

A second after I nodded, his hands were gripping my thighs lifting me to him. My core was pressed against his bare chest and then we were moving faster than the speed of light. Seconds passed and we were standing outside my apartment door.

"You couldn't have shown me that trick last time you were here?" my hand slapped his chest but I made no effort to tell him to let me go. He took my door keys out of my hand unlocking the door and shoving it open.

"I could've... but that would've been less fun."

Rolling my eyes, I tapped his shoulder for him to let me down, scared that my mum would wake up and see us like this. She didn't exactly approve of Damon and I. He had a pout on his face but let me go begrudgingly.

"All I want to do is go to sleep," I sighed, collapsing on my bed. I was still in this stupid mini dress but I was debating just sleeping in it. It's not like it hadn't already been through a world war tonight.

Damon was leaning against the doorframe as he kicked off his shoes. His eyes darkened as he looked down on me forcing me to pull my dress down slightly as it had risen up my thighs. "I can't remember if I told you this tonight but you look..." He paused, "delectable."

"That's a new one," I snorted, it sounded vampiric "and I'm pretty sure you have already told me that."

"Good," his tone sent shivers down my spine straight to my core, "don't forget it." he came towards me crawling over my body before stopping right above my face. "How tired are you?"

The look in his eyes had given me a newfound burst of energy. "Not really, not anymore."

His dark brow raised his mouth contorting to look down at me with the most seductive look I had ever seen. His features were dark as he trailed his hands across my stomach pausing at the hem of my dress.

"You said something earlier tonight," he hummed, fiddling with the thin fabric, his fingers sliding inside ever so slightly. Goosebumps raised across my skin as his hot breath fanned across my face.

"What did I say?"

Damon smirked, his fingers trailing even higher up my thighs until they were just at my crotch. "That no one had ever gone down on you before. I'd like to change that, if you'd let me."

My heart stopped. He was going to be the cause of my death if he kept saying things like that. The alcohol that still pulsed through my blood gave me added confidence but I still would've said yes sober.

"I'd like that," I mumbled, not used to someone being so straightforward when it came to intimate things. All the boys I'd slept with before were careless, just wanting to please themselves rather than me. Damon didn't seem to care about himself getting off in this situation.

Unless... "Do I need to do it back?"

His features softened. Damon pressed a soft kiss to my forehead mumbling against the skin "you don't ever need to do it back unless you want to. There's never an ultimatum here."

My anxiety quietened feeling my heart rate decrease, Damon pressed kisses down my body before pushing up my skirt. "Is this definitely okay?"

"Yeah," I squeezed his hand, "it's definitely okay."

And then I saw stars.
