PART TWO : RETRIEVING
"sorry to interrupt your major important game
but do you possibly have any tips to capture a girls attention
like you boys do so effortlessly."

THIRD PERSON -

Josh walked down the street he knew JJ lived in, how he knew that information was simple. No, he wasn't some creepy stalker that looked up his address, much simpler than that. JJ had killer parties, inviting all the popular people from around school and some other people that live around London. JJ's infamous parties spread around like wildfire, and he has no problem with openly exploiting his address to everyone surrounding him.

Josh was hesitant to talk to JJ, they've met before, but the boy is so outspoken and weird that it's hard to connect with him. Josh was a realist, thinking about things from a point of view that actually considered the outcomes. JJ was a chilled back optimist, he didn't dwell on the bad things, he hyped up the good things. JJ had this vision he would turn out rich, but his failing grades and poor attitude spoke for itself, Josh saw everything in a different light, a dull light for people who expected the world.

Josh walked to his house, a double storied house sitting at the near end of the street, painted a cream beige with the outer skirting painted in a clear white, the house stood pretty. The front harden littered with pink, red and white flowers, a flowing theme. They had a short standing off white picket fence, a latched gate in the middle, a cobblestoned pathway leading up to the scruff end up brown mat next to the large wooden door.

He knocked on the hard wood around three times, provoking the attention of someone in the house, because he could hear talking, the sound of footsteps edging closer. The door swung back, revealing the man he was looking for, the tall, dark skinned boy who won ladies over quicker than a cheetah can catch its prey.

JJ was confused, not entirely sure why Joshua Bradley, the slightly weird geeky kid he had seen a couple of times was knocking on his door in the middle of the afternoon. "What are you doing here?" He asks, wanting to finish this conversation so he can go back to demolishing Simon at a game of fifa ( maybe he had stretched the truth on that one ).

"I have a question to ask you," Josh replies, earning a groan from JJ. To make the boy less annoyed at him, he expands his reasoning. "It'll take a minute, it's one question."

JJ looks down his hallway, seeing Simon shaking his head, he disobeys his friend and agrees, offering him into his home, the white hallway extending into the sleek black kitchen and a large sitting area with a 70 inch television mourned onto the wall, bookcases on both sides, holding video games and movies rather than actual books, the coffee table was glass, red bulls stacked up onto the table.

"Tell me Joshua, what do you want?" He asks. "Hurry up, you are wasting our time."

"Sorry to interrupt your major important game," he sarcastically starts. "Do you possibly have any tips to capture a girls attention like you boys do so effortlessly."

JJ and Simon start to laugh, Simon spitting out his drink, some coming out from his nose, JJ tries to contain his laughter, both look at each other at the same time, their eyes meet and they bust out again. Josh raises his eyebrow, he hadn't said anything humorous.

"You want tips on girls," he says. "You came all the way down here for tips on girls?"

"Listen mate, your kind of uncool, this girl better not be some elite, pretty all round girl, you'll have no chance," Simon comes in, patting him on the shoulder. "So who is it?"

"You know what, never mind," Josh says, walking himself out, he and learned his lesson, they were right, he was uncool, he didn't have a chance. He thanked the boys for their time, closing the door as he ran back home, he was a realist, surely he knows that getting someone like her isn't such a reality.
