Too lazy too change POV so have more Annabeth...

Juliet summoned a giant wave of Lethe water. Of course she did. I watched it come down. It crashed over half the monsters and started to seep to the rest. I gasped. "Juliet, is it gonna affect us?"

Juliet's face turned from triumphant to scared. "Uh. probably?" the wave started to come to us. it had lost size but was still 3 times our height. right at the last moment Juliet turned and hugged me. It wasn't a show of affection, I realized. She was protecting me. the wave crashed into us and washed over us, but didn't affect us. I didn't dare open my mouth or even breath. I squeezed my eyes shut and held onto Juliet. it took a few moments. for the feeling of the Lethe around us to go away. I opened my eyes as Juliet gently pulled away. The surviving monsters were getting up and scratching their heads. "Where am I?" "Who am I?" "Who are THEY?" The monsters were all saying the same kinda thing.

"You all can't remember anything?" I asked.

They all shook their heads.

"Oh, well, you were going to let us into the elevator, hold down the button for seven minutes, then cut that chain there. then when you reform, you were gonna join the fight on the Gods side!" Juliet said. Gotta say, that was a pretty smart move.

"Oh! Ok then." one of the giants walked forward. I recognized her as Periboia, queen of the giants. "But, first, who AM I?"

"Your, uh..." I bit my lip. could Telling her her name could bring back her memories?

"Your Mary!" Juliet said.

"Oh! I like that name." Periboia-Mary laughed. "I'll push the button for you, little, uhhhh..."

"I'm Juliet, and this is Annabeth."

Periboia nodded and pushed the open door button. Me and Juliet went inside and began to wait the seven minutes ride, hoping Periboia would hold it all the way through. and that someone would receive them at the top.

We arrived at the top and I worried for a moment that the door wouldn't open, but it did. In fact, it opened to none other then Medea, the giant made to oppose Hecate (what was his name again? I could never remember that particular area of mythology.) Leo, and Hazel. Annabeth collapsed and I felt a bit dizzy myself.

"Oh, GODS. Your lucky your friends are probably door-lagged, or I would kill you for bringing them here to kill ME." Medea put her hand to her chest with a look of disgust.

Hazel raised her eyebrow. I noticed that Leo was laying unconscious on the floor. "Door-Lagged?"

"Like jet lag, but its from coming through the doors of death from Tartarus. Or anywhere in the underworld, really. Surprised that one hasn't collapsed yet." She pointed her chin at me. "Fix that, won't you, Clytius?"

Clytius grunted and moved over to me. He took his sweet time doing it, while Medea and Hazel resumed fighting. Clytius brought his hand over my head and brought it down, but I jabbed upward at the last second with my sword. He howled in pain and threw another punch, which I dodged. we kept fighting until Clytius howled again and disappeared into a cloud of black smoke. Not dead, but gone for now. I turned to Medea and Hazel, still fighting. I raised my sword and jabbed it into Medea's back, right where her neck and back met, and she howled into pain and exploded.

"...I thought she was mortal... mortals don't explode, right?" Hazel asked after a moment of watching where her enemy had stood.

"Maybe since she was brought back to life by Gaea, she does that. I dunno. Is Leo ok?"

Hazel bent down to examine Leo while I kneeled next to Annabeth. I shook her shoulder. "Annabeth. wake up." Nothing. I tried a few more times with the same result, then I tried going closer and whispering in her ear. "Wake up, Annie." Her eyes fluttered open.

"Juliet."

I hugged her and helped her up.

"So... Hazel... what did we miss?"
