Morning came fast. The sunlight peaking through my windows made it impossible to keep my eyes shut. Letting out a groan, I got up and hoisted myself out of bed. I had opened the closet door to see that it was packed full of clothes. At least that was a convenience they did for me.
It was when I had opened the door that I was met with an angry Kate. Oh no.... "Where have you been? It's already eleven o'clock!" Kate snapped, " You were supposes to start your job two hours ago!"  "S-sorry...." I stuttered, "but I did stay up pretty late last night." "Yeah...." Kate trailed, "but don't let it happen again." I nodded.

Kate led me downstairs. We stopped at a sofa in the living room area. "Wait here." she ordered. She swiftly walked out of the room. Sitting on the sofa, I silently wondered what I was to do first.
After about a few minutes, the door opened and I jumped. The moment of tension seemed to last like an eternity. My thumbs nervously twiddled and I was sweating a little. First, a man with a feminine mask entered. He immediately paused when he saw me. A man with an orange hoodie with a red frown sewed in over the face part entered as well. He too stopped in mid step. A couple seconds went by until the man in the mask asked in a low voice, "How did you get here?...."

Kate immediately ran in the room, "Shit, I didn't know you guys would be back yet..." The first man just stood there, then once again spoke, "Kate, who is this girl?" "Well, she's sorta the new assistant around here, after spotting me and following me into the forest." Kate explained. So she was the figure standing outside my window. The masked man hesitated again, before sighing, "Well....if the Slender says it's fine then I guess it's fine with us...." The hooded guy nodded. "That's  Tim, Tim Wright" Kate pointed to the masked man, I nodded in understanding. Kate then pointed to the guy in the orange hoodie, "That's Brian Thomas." "Hi....." was all I could say. It grew awkward very fast.

Kate led me downstairs to the  cellar where I had met Slender. Once we entered, she continued walking forward. I had not noticed how vast the room was before. Suddenly, I was surprised to find that at the end of the room, there was a wood table with a thin steel looking plate on it, and racks on the wall consisting of various weapons. Cabinets had been built in the table. "Woah......" "What's the matter? You look like you haven't seen a weapon before." she pointed out. "N-not up close....." I stuttered.

Kate waited a moment then spoke, "Well, for today, you'll get to be sharpening blades and reloading guns." I was puzzled. I couldn't even lift a weapon without dropping it cause of its heavy weight. She handed me a pistol, "We'll start out with reloading small guns. Just put the magazine in the grip area like this." She got out a magazine from one of the cabinets and slid it into the handle part of the gun. "If there is already a magazine in a gun," she instructed, "press the grip release button." The girl pressed a button on the side of the pistol with her fingertip. The magazine immediately fell out of the bottom of the gun. "If the gun is empty, just reload it with another magazine." she added. Seemed simple enough. "Just don't accidentally shoot yourself." Kate said with amusement in her voice. "Or anyone else....." she added with less excitement.

As soon as she handed me a gun, my arms struggled a bit to hold it up. after a few moments though, I got used to its mass. Walking over to the cabinet and grabbing a magazine, I carefully loaded the gun. Honestly, it was sorta fun. I hadn't felt so powerful in a while.....
Next, Kate showed me how to sharpen blades. "You have to put this mask on." She led me to the steel plate. "Now you want to just keep sliding the blade over this diamond sharpening plate...." The girl took a scalpel and slid it on the plate. She handed it to me, "Your turn.", and took a step back. I did as I was told and it was easy for a while. Sometime later, my arms began to tire.

Some creepypastas came in the room to grab their weapons. Kate would introduce me to some, like Eyeless Jack or Bloody Painter.
Then there was Jeff........

(😂I know it's an old meme, but deal with it.)

I had just picked up a random kitchen knife when I heard someone gasp. Suddenly, I was pushed against the wall. I heard the clatter of the knife making impact on the ground. My neck hurt From the pressure being put on it and I was choking furiously. My ears barely heard Kate's voice. A moment later, I was let go. Falling to the ground, I coughed and wheezed with tears in my eyes. A gruff  and raspy voice sounded, "Who is this pathetic bitch?! What were YOU doing letting MY knife in HER hands?!" Kate rolled her eyes "Calm your tits, Jeff. She's new here. She didn't know." So this was Jeff. He sure can do a number on someone....

I slowly peeked my eye up at him. What I saw was unexplainable. He did not look like any human whatsoever. His skin was a sickeningly pure white and looked really rough and leathery. His hair was black and matted and his hair was almost shoulder length. And each of his eyes were like a bullseye. There was nothing but singed black skin surrounding them where his eyelids should have been. Even though his face was round and a little chubby, the rest of his body was bony and skinny. The guy definitely had an uneasy feel about him. His appearance definitely suited his profession.

I shakily got up. "I'm sorry for taking your knife.....here." I picked it up and held it out for him. He turned his head and just stared at me. I looked in his eyes and what I saw was hunger. My body shifted uncomfortably. He took the knife and continued staring at me with those creepy eyes. It was hard to tell what he was thinking. Kate snapped harshly, "JEFF. Don't you even think about it!" A low growl came out of the male killer. "You know what the Operator can do if you hurt her....." Jeff waited a moment, contemplating. "No promises..." he mumbled and disappeared.
