3rd - POV

The sun is shining, birds are singing peacefully and you are heavenly sleeping. Clutching the pillow close to your face as you are enduring a fantastic dream. But of course, not all pleasant things can last forever.

"Get your lazy ass up, Y/n!" You groan in defiance, barely opening your eyes before water spills all over your features.

You sit up immediately "Eren..." You look stunned at the guilty boy. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU WAKE ME UP FOR?!" You yell furiously while the boy just laughs in pure bliss. He's seriously asking to get thrown out the window.

"Come on, we're training today" He simply says with a grin. Not even caring over ruining your peaceful slumber. You are beyond angry, it is Saturday and your beauty sleep is needed.

This shit head! What does he think he is doing?!

"Eren you are so dead! It's Saturday for gods sake, I wanted to sleep in!" You growl and dry you face with the hem of your shirt.

"So you can just slack off the whole day? No, we are going to train now. I've been slacking off lately and you need to figure out your power thingy" Eren zips up his grey hoodie, already ready to work out.

You groan in defeat, "Fine! I guess I could use some...'training'" You sigh wearily, not having the best trained body. It can't hurt to try, right?

"Great let's go" Eren grabs your arm and pulls you out of the warm bed. "First we ne-"

"Wait you idiot, I have to get dressed first!" You give him a pointed look, he flinches and looks down at your lack of clothes. Only wearing a tank top and shorts that clings onto your butt perfectly.

Eren can't help but blush, it's not like he is used to be seeing girls in such clothing. Back at home the girls cover themselves, mostly wearing long skirts if not their soldier uniform.

But here, it's all a modern life.

The brown haired boy lets go of your arm as he blushes cutely "S-Sorry, I'll let you get dressed" He almost stumbles out of your room.

You giggle at his retreat, sometimes he can be so innocent it's cute.

"Eren..*pant* I ca-can't take no more" You gasp from exhaustion. Your legs feel all jelly from running up the stairs. Eren had decided to start training with running from the first floor to the tenth, and it is killing you to keep the pace with him.

"Come on Y/n, you can do it!" He encourages enthusiastically. "Only four more floors and then we'll be done" He chimes with slight sweat forming on his forehead.

You nod and furrow your eyebrows, you can do this! Forgetting your pain, you give it your all and run up the remaining stairs with Eren.

"G-Good job Y/n, I knew you could do it" He put his hands on his knees, trying to catch his breath. You are already sprawled out on the stairs, smiling like an idiot, tired but still smiling over your accomplishment.

"Ohhhii I seriously need to get back on my training again" Eren says and takes a seat next to you. It's true though, he hasn't been training like he used too since he got here.

"Yeah, I guess I could use some training too" You smile softly upon the brown haired boy. "What's next?" You sit up with curios eyes.

For the rest of the training you and your titan friend have been jogging around the area and did some strength training on the grass outside.

You lay next to Eren on the grass both panting heavily. After some intense abs workout, you were finally done for the day, or at least you thought so.

"Well, now we have to check out your power thingy" Eren tilts his head towards you. Your eyes widen, completely forgotten about the whole situation. "Power thingy?" You giggled at him. He rolls his eyes "Well imma just call you Zappy then" He jokes and stands up from the grass.

"Ah hell nah you won't!" You hurriedly got up from the ground and pounce him. Eren shrieks in surprise as both of you fall to the ground, you on top of him with your arms locked on the side of his head. "Ehh..sorry!!" You blush crimson red and look away from the flustered boy.

Lately you find yourself blushing a lot around Eren and it annoys you. Why can't you control it?

"Ah it's o-okay" You slowly get off him, an awkward silence fills the air. He nervously scratches the back of his neck "Wanna get some ice cream before we continue?" He closes his eyes with an adorable smile.

"Sure" You chuckle, thank goodness he is great at breaking the awkwardness.

Y/n - POV

Time to get serious.
This is not something I can mess around with, I have to be careful. At least until I figure out what this actually is.
What is my mom gonna think? Or my friends? Will I have to tell them eventually?

I take a deep breath and open my eyes, "Okay Eren, I need you to stand behind me" He nods and swiftly walks behind me, I glance over my shoulder "I think it's best if you stand a little further away" I send him a concerned feature.

"Y/n, just be careful. I don't want you to get hurt either" He says with sincerity, the boy frowns and moves his gaze to the ground "I mean last time you passed out and I was so sca-"

"Eren...I'll be fine, this time I know what I am doing" I try to reassure him and put on a brave smile. Truthfully I am terrified. Eren nods and does as he was told, he hides behind a large oak tree.

I feel his intense gaze behind my back, watching me closely as I try to calm myself. Millions thoughts are racing through my mind, but those aren't doing me any good.

I swallow hard, my shaking with nerves. I settle them in front of me and close my eyes.
I try to put my energy into my palms, causing to heat up. I feel a gush of an electric vibe rush through my body. Terrified, I jar my eyes and witness my palms carry an intense light.

It feels like my hands are loaded with a strong force, light streams are literally sparking out of my hands. It is incredible, how is this possible?

I push both my hands forward in sync, before I can even blink or try to control anything. Lightning bursts out and plunderers a hole on a tree a few meters away.
A wave of wind blows my hair back, the force is so powerful that I'm shoved backwards and fall on my back in shock. The noise was so loud that Eren has to cover his ears, he saw my figure fall and immediately rushes over.

"Y/n! Are you okay?!" He desperately kneels down and begins to inspect my form for any injuries.

I'm left resting on my elbows, still stunned over what just happened. Eren lets out a sigh of relief when he doesn't find any obvious injuries. "You did it..." He speaks softly and follows my gaze towards the tree that leaks with steam.

"Everything happened so fast I...I couldn't even control it once I pushed my hands forward. It just came out" I let short and deep breaths escape my mouth. Things are going in a spiral, I really have this power. But all my questions are still unanswered.

Eren moves out his hand and I stare at him with confusion "Are you sure about that?". Eren nods and keeps his hand still, "I am sure". I hesitantly shift my hand and let Eren help me up. "Did it hurt?" I ask with concern. He glances at his hand before turning to me once again "It felt completely normal to me"

"So this means that I have a power? Oh my gosh!! This is awesome! I always wanted one!" I happily jump up and down. I mean who wouldn't want powers?

Eren laughs at me, I stop jumping and peer at his teal-green eyes. "Wait, what if I accidentally hurt someone? I don't think I ca-"

Eren embraces me instantly, I can feel his heart beat. "Don't worry, you'll be fine. I am here, remember?" He gently nestles a hand in my hair and strokes it. Even if I am afraid of hurting someone, Eren is the one telling me that I'll be fine. So I have no choice but to believe him.

We'll be alright....everything will work out

3rd - POV

The auburn haired woman gasps in surprise, she had just witnessed lightning stream out of the woods—soon followed by a loud plunder.

"Looks like we don't have much time at all" She murmurs lowly, her eyes boring into the forest where she had seen the streams of light.

"Such a reckless place to practice it even!" The woman bellows to herself, hands clenching with nerves. "What are you thinking Y/n?...You have no idea what this can do to you"

Her eyes sharpen thinly, lips painted into a worried frown. "If only they had listened to me..." With that being said, she skips away before Y/n and Eren have any chance of meeting her.

It's really begun now.
