Mia's POV

I awoke to the sounds of screams...my parents were fighting again. I ignored them as best as I could and headed to my closet and I got out a pair of jeans and a regular T-shirt, I headed to the bathroom to change and once I got out I got a text message. 'I'm outside' it read and I realized it was from Eric, my boyfriend so I quickly headed down the stairs and went to the kitchen where I saw my parents had stopped fighting and were hugging my brother because he had been crying, like he always did when mom and dad fought. I quickly went to the snack corner and grabbed a cereal bar and headed out the front door where I saw Eric's car waiting for me. I could see his face lighting up with joy when he turned to look at me, he let me in and took me to school, once we got there I have him a kiss goodbye and got out then I saw him drive away. This was normal because we went to different schools and people always ask if I 'trust him' and I say that of course I do, why wouldn't I? They always warn me that boys are unpredictable and I tell them that I know but I still love and trust him. That's what makes a good relationship right?
