Techno whispered to you as you both crouched behind a bush

That guy was right, these boars really don't look normal, their skin and meat smelled of rot, their bones were exposed and you could see half of its skull and ribcage

Every step the hoard took sounded fleshy and disgusting, you try to get closer to get a good look at the boars, as you move nearer you can feel it's body heat and see the steam coming off of its body

"how could those beasts come to the overworld"
You hear Techno whisper to himself

You take a step backwards an- CR ACK!

"Ah shit"

You look to your feet and see a broken twig, looking back up you see the boars already prepping to run towards you

"uwhho"
'What should we do now'

"Y/N"

"Gweh???"

"RUN"
With that Techno runs off

"Uwah!??GWE- RWHA"
'what? WAIT, WAIT FOR ME'

You and Techno run through the dense forest barely getting away while wild boars slowly catch up

"HAURGSKL"

You scream as a boar speeds up to ram into you

"DODGE IT Y/N THEY CAN ONLY RUN FORWARD"
You do as he says and throw yourself to a bush to a side, the boar rushes into a tree and the rest continue to run after Techno

"MEET AT A RIVER"
He yells

"WGAH?"
'There was a river in this forest?'

But without saying anything further, Techno disappears into the distance

...

'sigh'

'Well what should I do now'

You look over to the passed out body of the boar

'is that thing really passed out'

...

You go to poke it with a stick but the body stays motionless

"Huwaggghshghg"

You let out a sigh of relief and fall onto the forest floor

'I guess I should go find a river then'

You pick yourself up and walk in the direction Techno ran to, you listen to the sounds around you, hoping one of them would be the sound of water rushing

A birdsong, the sound of wind running through trees, the sound of your footsteps on sticks and fallen leaves, and.. oh! Water rushing

You run to the direction of the noise and find a river, fishes swimming and deers drinking from it

'Heh, I found it first, he better come here quickly and praise me for finding it so fast'

Happy you sit down on a rock and wait for him

...

You watch the birds fly across the sky and play with the leaves that fall down onto your lap

...

The sound of water calms you, but also keeps you alert, who knows what kinds of creatures would come here for a sip

...

Did time always pass by this slow?

'I guess with all the recent events, I've never gotten a time to just sit down'

You stand up and walk by the river

'Maybe he's at another part of the river'

Walking upstream you look around for any signs of Techno, the sun beams seem to lessen as time goes on and the world becomes darker by the second

Tired, you sit down again to wait

Though instead of the peaceful atmosphere from before, the forest seems scarier, and it feels as if, someone is watching you

"Gwehhga?"

"Tehgah uuhhak"
'Techno if that's you come out'

You're left with no response

You curl up into a ball and rest your back on a tree, slowly rocking back and forth you watch as the blue sky slowly become a mix of oranges and red

'Where is he'

A raindrop falls onto your face

'Gosh'

And then another raindrop

'It just had to get better'

Soon rain fell from the sky, and did an arrow

"GWGAH!?"
Behind you a soilder with a bow stood

'A sky soilder!'

You quickly get up from the ground and run downstream, almost slipping and falling in the mud

Another arrow flys by you, the soilder clearly was chasing you down

You run into the forest a bit more and dodge through the trees, sliding below fallen trees and grabbing onto sticks to helplessly throw at your pursuer

But the soilder remained vigilant, arrows kept coming your way, and they kept getting more accurate

'WHY WOULD A SKY SOILDER BE HERE'

you throw another stick and the soilder breaks it into two with an arrow

"GWHD"

You run and turn a corner to hide behind a tree, you thank the rain since it hid the sound of you desperately gasping for air, you definitely were never the athletic type, and this heavy armor didn't help your case

"Don't try and hide brat, I'll find you soon, so save us both the trouble and come to me yourself!"
The soilder shouts as he looks for you

Tears form in your eyes as you clutch your machete

'Can I do it? The soilder is stronger than me I can't, I can't do this, I can't'

With shakey breaths you raise the machete

'But, but I have to don't I?'

Slowly standing up you try and look at the soilder to plan an attack-

Where is he

"I told you I would find you"

Your eyes quickly look back as you see the soilder, no longer holding a bow but a knife

"AAHWHWGHAA"
You scream but the soilder covers your mouth and pins you down

"SHUT UP BRAT, I'LL MAKE YOU PAY AND CUT OFF YOUR ARMS, THEN YOUR LEGS"
In shock you look to his arm, instead of a real one it was a prosthetic

Its the soilder from before

"GAAHRAAAAAAA"
You scream, he covers your mouth again but you bite his hand and scream again

"AAAAAAAAAAAARAAAAAGH"
'TECHNO'

He gives up on trying to shut you up and instead uses both of his arms to raise his knife

"TECCGGHAASAA"
'TECHNO HELP'

The man smiles as you struggle under him

"I've been waiting to cut you up"
He smiles sadistically

"I'll start with your left hand first"

"TECHAAHHNOOOOO"
"TECHNOBLADE"

Just as he goes to plunge the knife

Both of his hands come off clean

"What"

And after his hands, was his head

His body fell onto the ground beside you, blood spewing out like a fountain

You look to the body, then up

"Sorry I took so long kid"
The man adjusts his long pink braid and extends a hand to you

"Some pests came along with the boars so I had to get rid of them"
He says with a soft smile, blood on him and on his sword

But you couldn't care less

You tackle him with a hug making you both stumble to the ground, crying you hug him tightly

"Dguont gleavhe mwe aghajin"
You force your hoarse voice to say something, anything

Techno just nods and pats you on your back

"You did good surviving kid"

You let go of him and try to wipe away your tears muttering

"geuah iwaj gh"
'I was so scared'

but then Techno puts his head against your forehead and pulls you back into a small embrace

"Don't worry"

"I'm here"
