Sunshine pours in through the windows and bird calls fill your ears, you open your eyes to a familiar sight, plushies on the floor and some on the bed, the wall painted red on one side and white on all the rest, the morning is calm today

Which was unusual, it felt like you could finally breathe

Techno told you before that this room belonged to Philza's youngest son, Tommy,

The way he talked about Tommy was the complete opposite of Philza

Whenever Techno talked about Phil his words were full of admiration, but when he talked about Tommy, his words were full of irritation, and it seems 'old' was replaced with 'young' for Tommy

'I guess he was his annoying little brother'
You laugh silently and push yourself off the bed, as you walk to the door you notice the ice cold temperature of the room was gone and replaced with warmth

'I guess Phil changed the temperature for me'
You open the door

'Though I wonder why it was so cold in the first place'

"y/n! Breakfast is ready"
Philza called for you

When you got to the table, Techno and Philza were talking about some random nonsense, though Techno did most of the talking and Phil just added onto some parts and laughed at his jokes

you sit down and listen to the banter while you eat with your new companions

After the meal Phil made you take your medicine, then turned to Techno and forced him to wear a sweater

[Phil the medicine tastes so bad]

"Gulp it down or you'll have no lunch"

"Phil the sweater is so itchy"

"Wear a long sleeve shirt under it then, you have to keep yourself warm to quicken the healing process"

You both grumble and go do as you're told

when Philza is satisfied he pats your head and hands a piece of paper to Techno

"Now, I'm going for a few days so I've written down some chores for you Techno"

"Heh!?"

"While you do those chores tour y/n around the house, I'll bring back some gifts for the two of you"
Phil removes his hand from your head and went over to the front door

"Wait, wait Phil c'mon I'm injured don't do this to me"

Phil just smiles and opens the door
"Cya kids!"

"PHILLLLL"
Techno reaches out for the bird hybrid, but the door closes anyway

Defeated, Techno knelt down on the floor while you laughed at him

Sighing he stands back up
"Anyhow, I guess I'll tour you around kid"

He looks at the list searching for the first location

You and Techno started the tour, first was the bedrooms, the rooms were all together on the first floor

First was Tommy's room, which was where you sleep, Next to it was the room of Techno's older brother

The room was quite messy, papers with lyrics on them everything, his bed looked big and comfy, with loads of pillows, more than what was on Tommy's bed, he had posters nailed to the walls, and a guitar next to his closet

"He was a real music nerd"

On the opposite side of the hall was was Techno's room

it was where you helped bandage him up before, now that you take a closer look it at it, it was an expensive room, a king sized bed with a frame, curtains hanging from it, there were books on almost every shelf, and if there wasn't, a souvenir was in its place, and to top it all off

A netherite sword was displayed on the wall

[You really are rich huh]

"You could say that"

As you move on you go to check the trai-

[Wait what about touring Phil's room?]

Techno paused to look at you
"There are some places where you shouldn't venture"

'Well.... okay?'

The next area you toured were the Training grounds, you've seen everything before so it wasn't that remarkable

"I'll be rearanging weapons over there, so why dont you train while I do that"

[Train!?]

The thought of it excited you, train? Like really? Imagine deflecting arrows with a sword like he did!

Techno chuckled at your eagerness
"It's won't be anything special, just get one of those wooden swords laying there and strike the training dummy with all your power a hundred times"

"get use to the feel of it in your hands for now"

[Okay,]
It really is simple training, but you still feel happy

You get your practice sword and steady yourself infront of the dummy, there's a big target painted on it so you strike it with all your might

The mannequin shakes a bit due to the force but doesnt budge from its spot, it really is stuck to the ground

You smile and get pumped up
'I'll get strong enough to send it flying!'

Techno laughs to himself as he see's you lively hitting the target

'44...'

'45...... ugjdnf my arms hurt, and so does my back, my legs can barely stand'

"You look tired there y/n! Giving up already?"

"BLEAEEEHHH!"

Techno teased you as he collected honey from a nearby honey farm phil built

'46!'

As you went to hit it for the 47th time your legs give in and you miss, you gasp for air on the ground while you try and rest for a bit

'Only 46'
You think to yourself as you look up to the sky

'I really am weak'
You sigh,

After a few seconds the view of the clouds gets replaced by a long haired pig with a sun hat

"Hallooo"

"why don't we take a break, I'll go feed steve"
'Steve?'

Looking up at him now you notice his bone mask is gone, you point it out to him and he notices

"Ah, well I don't really need a mask if I'm just at home y'know"
'True'

You just let out an exhausted sigh and sat up, you raise your arms up to Techno
"Kwary mwej"
'Carry me'

"Hell no you're so sweaty now"
You pout and get up

"Bleh"
'Mean pig'

"Whatever you say orphan"

You and Techno walk all over the mountain to feed the pets

You two first go to the stables and feed a few horses, Techno silently gave extra to one of them, he called it carl

Next were the hounds, they were all crowded around near a building, Techno called them free roam pets or something, he all gave them steak

"I once set these guys free into a battlefield, let's just say they didn't need to be fed that day"

He said with a ominous grin

The last one was a polar bear named Steve

'So thats steve'

Techno fed him fish and as soon as he was done with his meal, Techno patted him and made you do the same

'He clearly has some favorites'

You two go back to the house to wash yourselves off, animals don't eat very neatly and you were caught up in the mess

Techno dried off his hands then reached into his pocket to find the chore list
"Nexttt on the list is"

"Organizing books"

"Toooo the library"

To get to the library you first enter a storage room, on the other side was the door to the hallway

"There are plenty of shortcuts like this in the house, memorize them all kid"
Techno said as he opened the door

The hallway was nicely decorated and seemed calmer than all the other places, after turning several corners you found the library

and it looked beautiful

It reminded you of the public library you snuck into, Uncle said school was too expensive but he probably just wanted you to stay at home to work, he never taught you how to read or write so you taught yourself

There were plentiful of books here, and all you've never seen before

"You can probably find books about strategy here, books on how to detect and deflect impossible strats, and on how to make one yourself"

"Anyhow, I'll be just over here so go explore and read something"
You nod and leave Techno to check out the books

There were books on all kinds of things, fairy tails, cook books, self help books, and just like Techno said, strategy books of all kinds

But one book in particular caught your eye

It was called-
"Omphf-"

"Hallo, I'm done"
Techno said as he laid a book on your head

"I found a book that tells you how to get taller, you might wanna read it"

"Bleaurfhhfgjghhgh"
Techno chuckled at your displeasure and noticed something in your hands

"Oh hey, you found a book"
He took the book from you, then smiled

"Gweh?"
'What?'

Techno laughed to himself as he flipped through a few pages

"Gwah!? Gwehha"
'What??? What! Tell me pigface!'

"Pft, its nothing you nerd"
Techno said with a wide smile as he put down a book titled the 'art of war'
