"Ah~ this is the life~" Kuga muttered as he laid on the bed, staring at the ceiling above. "We totally won the whole two days! Ha! Suck it to whoever said that we would fail!"

"You know... you can do this in your room, right?" You asked Kuga as you left the bathroom, already in your pjs. "Why are you in my room?"

"Well, you're like, the only person in the same hallway as me. The others are so far away!" He complained, looking at you with his turned upside down. He sat up straight, facing you with a serious look. "Hey, do you think we met the 'quota' the school keeps talking about?"

You sat on the bed, sighing and taking your pillow, hugging it close. "Yeah, I'm sure we passed it yesterday. If not yesterday then tomorrow." You said, staring at the ceiling, wondering why people stare at it. Just as you were looking at it, Kuga's face suddenly appeared, startling you.

"But what if we didn't?" He asked, his tone different when he jokes around. "Hey, what if we failed?" The usual shine is his eyes were gone and replaced by clouds of fear and anxiety.

You sat up, placing the pillow back. You went to your luggage, looking for something, a jacket. After putting it on, you walked over to Kuga. He looked completely down. So different from the one that you see everyday.

You sighed, shaking your head. "You're so different from that persona of yours. Come with me. I'll make you something." You extended your hand for him. "Well, you wanna come or not?"

"Where are we going?" Kuga asked as you dragged him in the hotel. You didn't answer and just kept on walking to your destination. Not long after, Kuga finally recognized the place. "Are we going to the kitchen?"

"Well duh, I said that I would make you something." You rolled your eyes, entering the kitchen, startling the workers that were still there.

"U-um... may I ask what a student is doing here?" One of the chefs asked.

You looked over to Kuga, telling him to be the one to talk. "We're here to practice. Let us use the kitchen for a while." Thanks to Kuga's position, everyone left the kitchen, leaving you and Kuga alone. "(Y/N)-chiiin! Why do you always make me talk! Why can't you talk yourself! You're talking perfectly with me!"

You ignored him, looking for the ingredients you need. "Just shut up, Kuga. I'm being nice here." You said, placing all the things you need on the table. "And as for why... I'll tell you... next time..."

"So, what are you doing?" He asked, leaning over to the table, looking at the things you took out. "I can tell that you're gonna be using mangoes from those mangoes..." He pointed to the manoges you took. "Why mangoes?"

You sigh, shaking your head in disappointment. "I'll just have to let you taste it." You tied your hair, ready to make something for this annoying shrimp.

Kuga watched as you put something in the oven and began cutting mangoes and white chocolate and worked. Everything about your work looked like a performance. Every single movement looked like it was perfected to that point. Everything was just so mesmerizing.

He saw how dedicated and focused you were at work, he saw how a little smile played in your lips. It was just like that day. The only difference was the smile. That day, he saw you like a doll with no purpose. Even just a few days ago when he accidentally stumbled in your RS. And your shokugeki that he watched.

But now, you looked like you were genuinely enjoying your work.

"I'm done!" You cheered, letting your hair down and admiring the two cups in front of you. You took the two of them and hid them away from Kuga's sight. "Let's go eat these outside."

Kuga followed behind you, trying to peek over what you made but you kept it well hidden. After arriving at the lounge again, you made him sit and close his eyes.

"Don't peek!!" You said, placing the mango parfait in front of him. "And... you can open your eyes now!"

Kuga opened his eyes, staring at the parfait in front of him. "A parfait? Mango? Why mango?" He asked, inspecting the food. "I would've like it if it were strawberries!"

You sigh, lightly flicking his head. "Just eat it!"

"Fine, fine!" He said, taking the spoon in hand and eating a piece.

You smiled as you sat down, seeing his face bright up. This was the sight that you always love seeing when someone eats your sweets. It was their smile and bright eyes that you loved seeing. Their happiness.

"So, how was it?" You asked in anticipation as he finished his dessert. "You enjoyed it, right? Don't even think about having another piece that isn't a cheesecake!"

"W-well..." He stammered, trying to make himself look like he was thinking hard for an answer. "It's... good..."

"That's good then, Kuga." You said with a sigh. This was the first time in your life ever doing this, ever. And that was... "Here, you can have mine."

"Wait, really?!" He took the parfait without even waiting for your answer. But you really couldn't get mad at that time. You did make this for him.

"Yeah, I did make it for you." You said, relaxing on the sofa. 'Just one more day and we're back in school...' You thought, staring at the stars outside. They looked pretty. Summer was also close. 'Guess I'll go to the estate in the country... I miss the lake there...'

"(Y/N)-chin. Want a bite?" You snapped out of your thoughts when a spoon suddenly appeared in your vision. "Hello? I was talking to you." Kuga frowned, not liking that you were ignoring him. "(Y/N)!"

"Ah, what- mh-!" Kuga suddenly shoved the spoon in your mouth, feeding you the parfait.

"You made it, you should taste it." He said with that goofy grin of his. "See, it tastes good right? I wasn't lying when I said that!"

You smiled once again, the same feeling being around Kuga was back. No, not the desire to kick him in the face, but the fluffy and light feeling of being around him.

"Thank, Teru." You muttered, looking back at the stars to ignore the heat crawling in your face. 'Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. I called him by first name. Shit. Shit. Shit.' You repeated in your head over and over again. 'Then again, he always calls me (Y/N)-chin! It should be fine, right? RIGHT?! There's nothing wrong with me calling him by his first name if he calls me with mine anyway! Yeah, that's right! Hahaha! It's totally not fine!'

You were not taking this well. Calling him by first name when you think that you aren't even that close yet. Your mind was going haywire and overheating. You kept debating whether this was fine or not. Your face was completely red, your smile was slowly turning into a grin.

"(Y/N)-chin? Do you want another bite?" Kuga asked nonchalantly, his face right next to yours, sending the last blow.

Your face over heated as you scooted away from him, trying to speak but no words would come out. "I- ah... I... I..." You kept repeating the same words. You stood up, covering your face with the back of your hand and avoiding Kuga's gaze. "I-I'll go first..."

"Wait, I'll come with you!" He said, finishing his parfait and running after you. He managed to catch up. You two were stuck in the elevator, waiting to arrive at the goddam 34th floor. For the first time in your life, you didn't like the superior room.

When the elevator finally arrived, you picked up your pace to your room. "I-I'll see you tomorrow... Te...Kuga!" You stammered, looking over your shoulder where Kuga was standing in front of you his door.

"Yeah, see ya!" He cheered, entering his room. Once he was inside, he heard the sound of your slamming and he found it quite funny. But, it seems like...

'Ah.. dammit...' He sighed, sitting down on the ground, holding into his warm cheeks. 'What are you doing to me... you're just so adorable dammit....'

{Is that so?}

"Yes, sir. I have confirmed it with my own eyes and ears."

{Hmm... if that's the case... then I shall take things in my own hand}
