"The roof! The roof is on fire, Ted!" Barney exclaimed as he talked to Ted. "That girl from last night...I took her back to my place, then this morning, took her outside, spun her around a couple of times, and sent her walking. She will never find her way back..."

"And there she is," Annie noted.

"How did she get here? Did you invite her?" Barney asked Ted

"I have no idea who that is," Ted said

"She says she works with Carlos." Annie shrugged.

"Who's Carlos?" Barney wondered.

"I don't know any Carlos," Ted said.

Barney groaned only to straighten up when Annie cleared her throat as the blonde approached Barney. "Hi, you! You're back!"

"I sure am," The blonde kissed Barney.

"Come on, sweetie, I need a drink," The blonde led Barney away.

"Sweetie. Really?" Barney looked at Annie. "Order 66,"

Annie sighed tiredly and handed Ted her can of soda before going after Barney.

Ted noticed Lily leading Marshall toward the roof. "Whoa! Whoa, rabbits! Come on, I got that roof reserved,"

"All right," Marshall muttered.

"I can't believe you would cheat on Mom like that!" Annie cried as she walked with Barney out of the kitchen.

"Alright, tone it down," Barney hissed. There are still a lot of prospects in the room," he winked at another woman.

Ted shook his head only to notice people going up to the roof. "What the...No, no, no. Come on,"

"Sorry, Ted," Marshall apologized through the window.

"Great. What am I going to do when Robin shows up?"

Annie and Barney shared a look.

"She'll show up,"

Barney sat on the couch and nudged Annie's sleeping head away. "Well, this is lame,"

"Lame...or casual?" Ted voiced.

"Lame," Annie said tiredly into the couch cushions.

"Or casual?"

Barney handed Annie a pillow, and she threw it at Ted.

"Hey, law books," Lily greeted Marshall. "Ready for a little 15-minute recess?"

"Sorry, baby, I got to work," Marshall said. "I need all my blood up here," he pointed to his brain. "Has anybody seen An Introduction to Contract Tort and Restitution Statutes from 1865-1923?"

The room was silent.

"Has anybody seen a big-ass book?"

"No,"

"Hello, Barney,"

Barney looked down at Annie for help.

"I'm off the clock," The girl muttered in the cushions.

"Of course," Barney said.

"You look well," The blonde said. "Is it weird they invited both of us?"

"Who? Who invited you? No one even knows who you are!"

"I understand you're hurt, but you mustn't be cruel. Carlos was right about you,"

"Who is Carlos?!"

Marshall came out of his bedroom. "Hey, where the hell is my..."

Annie jumped when Marshall screamed.

Marshall held up his dripping textbook. "Okay...An Introduction to Contract Tort and Restitution Statutes from 1865-1923 is not a coaster!"

Annie quickly moved behind the couch as Marshall got in Ted's face.

"Is not a coaster! Ted, I'm jeopardizing my law career so you can throw not one, not two, but three parties for some girl you just met who will probably not even show up! I mean, where is she, Ted, huh? Where's Robin?"

Annie looked behind Marshall as Robin stood with Lily.

"Hi," Marshall greeted awkwardly. "Hi, Robin. Wow," he dropped his textbook and grabbed Lily's hand.

"So, you threw all these parties for me?" Robin asked.

"No," Ted claimed. "Oh, you thought that...no! I...okay, yes. You got me. One of the reasons I threw these parties was to introduce you to, um..."

Annie pushed a guy towards Ted.

"This guy. Uh, I figured, you know, since it didn't work out between us, we can just laugh about it..." Ted laughed weakly. "Anyway, Robin, this is..."

"Carlos,"

"Oh!" Annie and Barney said simultaneously.
