"It's a banquet!" Luffy shouted. Everyone, G-5 soldiers included, cheered. They had captured Caesar and destroyed his lab along with all the SAD chemicals. Law successfully killed Vergo and Monet died by Caesar's hands. Now, it was time for both pirates and marines to relax and celebrate their victory. 

Shanna smiled in satisfaction. Everyone seemed to be having fun. Surely now is the best time to leave, and pretend nothing ever happened. She'll just travel on her own, go wherever the waves take her. Maybe she'll run into her father at some point. Who knows. 

As everyone had their attention on the food, the teenage girl slowly, and stealthily walked away, hoping no one would notice. "Room." Shit. "Shambles." Suddenly, Shanna's surroundings changed, and she found herself inside an empty warehouse. Behind her stood none other than Law. Shanna groaned as she ruffled her own hair in annoyance. "We need to talk," Law said. 

"About what?" asked Shanna.

"Were you planning on disappearing again?" Law asked. Shanna turned around, showing Law her annoyed expression.

"Yes," she admitted. Suddenly, Shanna froze in shock. What the heck? She thought. Why are you making that face? Why.... She stared at Law. Why do you look like you're in so much pain right now?

Law's lips quivered as he asked, "Do you hate me that much?"

"What do you think?" replied Shanna. "After what you did.... You think I'd be able to stay by your side after that?"

"I'm sorry..." Law apologized. Shanna's eyes widened even more. Law apologizing? But he never apologizes.... "I'm really sorry. You don't know how much I regretted it. It's okay if you don't forgive me, but please...don't leave again. Please stay by my side."

Shanna didn't know how to respond. What the heck? She gritted her teeth. You can't do that... She wanted to run away but her feet seemed to be glued into place. Tears started flowing out of her eyes, and yet she didn't know whether it was out of sadness, frustration, or anger. "WHAT THE HELL?!" she screamed. "HOW CAN YOU BE SO SELFISH?! After all you did to me! After how much you've hurt me! You think it'll all be okay if you apologize? Why are you like this?! Why? I hate you! I hate how you keep using me! I hate how you keep manipulating me feelings, keep leaving me hanging! I hate how you tie me to you even though you don't like me! And yet-" She paused, tears streaming down her face like a waterfall. "...why do I keep wanting to come back?"

"Alright guys, tonight is the night. Remember, Operation Code Red!" Shanna said, crossing her arms in front of her chest, puffing it out proudly. 

"Why red?" asked Shachi.

"Because red string of fate! Now do you all know your roles?" Shanna asked, skimming around. "Bepo, you got the candles?"

"Yes ma'am! A hundred of them!" the mink saluted. 

"Penguin, fireworks?" 

"Uh huh!" the man gave the girl a big thumbs up. Shanna returned a thumbs up and winked at him. 

"Shachi flowers?" she asked.

"Yep!"

"Alright!" Shanna grinned. "Bepo, Shachi, you guys go to the place we found yesterday and set up the candles. Remember, has to be in a heart shape. Shachi put the flowers in the center of the heart. Jack and Penguin, you guys remember to set off the fireworks at midnight, on the dot, got it? Bepo and Shachi, you guys join Jack and Penguin when you're done with setting up the heart. Remember, give us space. Don't you dare come near us, or else I'll kill you."

"Yeah yeah," Penguin giggled. 

"Hey but this isn't a heart shape, it's the shape of a heart, as in the organ," Shachi said holding up the graph Shanna drew for them. 

Shanna smirked. "Well duh! Law is a doctor, he'll definitely appreciate the more accurate depiction of a heart!" she explained. "It's 10:30 now, everyone get to work! I'll go find Law! Oh yeah speaking of Law where is he?"

"Captain said he's going into town tonight," Jack said.

"In town? What for?" asked Shanna.

"Who knows," Shachi shrugged. He suddenly felt the urge to tease the teenage girl before him and said, "Well maybe he met a girl or so- OW!" The one who hit him was none other than Penguin. Bless that man.

"Okay, well anyways, I'll go find him. Remember, midnight, on the dot!" Shanna said holding up an okay sign with her left hand. "'Kay?"

The Heart Pirates all held up an okay sign as well, and shouted, "Okay!"

"Move out!" 

The pirates all went out to do their job that Shanna assigned. The girl then left the lodge they were staying at and ran into town. She first and went inside all the pubs, thinking that maybe Law wanted to get some booze. But he wasn't in any of the pubs. Maybe he went to the hospitals to steal some supplies? Shanna then raced to the hospital and looked for him all over, but couldn't find him anywhere. 

That was strange, Law isn't the type of person who'd go around alone without letting the crew know. Shanna checked the time. It was already 10:45, and she still hasn't found Law. Maybe she should tell the others to hold off on the fireworks. She then reached in her pockets, only to realize she forgot to take her transponder snail. Well, she only has one choice left, and that was to find Law. It's a good thing that Shanna's fast on her feet. She went back to the pubs, which were the only places opened at the time, and asked around to see if anyone has seen Law. However, nobody has seen the man.

Around 11:30, Shanna finally found someone who has seen Law at one of the pubs. "A tall man with tan skin and tattoos wearing a yellow hoodie? Oh I've seen him!" said a buff man with a scruffy beard. 

"Really? Do you know where he went?" asked Shanna.

"I think he headed to Baram Street. I saw him with this woman, but I'm not sure where they're going," he replied.

Shanna's brows furrowed slightly. "Woman?" she mumbled. She felt a tight squeeze in her chest. 

"Yeah, I remember!" said another man at the table. "She was pretty hot too! Damn those curves!"

Could it be.... Shanna shook the thought out of her head. Nahh, he wouldn't. "Thanks mister!" she thanked the man before exiting the pub. The watch read 11:40. If she catches Law soon they could use his room to teleport over to that place. It's okay, she can still make it. At the street the guy mentioned, Shanna asked around to see if anyone's seen Law. Thankfully, one of the convenience store owners said he's seen Law. In fact he's seen which building Law entered. The owner kindly pointed to the building Law and that woman went to, and Shanna thanked him. By now it was 11:55. She arrived at the building Law was supposedly at, and thankfully it was a single house. Meaning he had to be in here somewhere. The door was locked, and there was no doorbell. Shanna knocked but nobody answered. 

Time was running out, so Shanna jumped onto one of the balconies, hoping to be able to get herself in. Luckily there was a glass door, and the curtains weren't fully shut, but the inside was dark. She could make out a little bit of movement on the inside though. However, when she got close to the glass door, she heard noises coming from inside. "...hah...Ah! There...."

What? Shanna thought. "...A-Aaah~ You're good at this...." It was a female's voice. 

"...ngh...You're so tight...."

 Shanna's eyes widened. She recognized the voice just now. It was Law. There's no mistaking it. She quickly hid herself behind the brick wall, away from the glass window, afraid that the people inside would see her. "Ah! Law, you feel so good!"

The teenage Heart Pirate felt something wet stain her cheeks. Droplets of liquid rolled down from her eyes down to her chin, a few making their way in her mouth. It tasted salty...and bitter... 

Suddenly something shoots into the sky, and with a loud 'boom,' fireworks exploded in the sky like flowers in bloom. The sound of fireworks drowned out the moaning noises inside the room, but Shanna could no longer hear anything. It was as if the entire world has gone quiet, and she was the only person there. 

For a while Shanna had no idea what to do. She just stood there, unable to move a muscle. It feels like someone just torn her heart out, diced it up to pieces and stuffed it back in her chest all jumbled up. Her chest hurts, her head hurts, everything hurts.... Suddenly, the sound of the glass door sliding open snapped Shanna out of her trance. She turned and saw that it was none other than Law, who looked down at her. He was shirtless, and his jeans were barely zipped up. He had a cold look in his eyes, and Shanna's knew immediately when she saw him.... "You knew..." she mustered out. "You knew I was here...."

"Yeah and so what?" the man asked. 

Right when Shanna was about to reply, someone cut her off. "Babe who's that?" From behind Law, a woman emerged. She was the one the buff man at the pub told her about. Brown curly hair, big mahogany eyes decorated in purple eye shadow. Her red lipstick was smudged all over her face, Shanna could see red kiss marks all over Law's torso, as well as his lips.... The woman indeed had the biggest breasts Shanna has ever seen, but they didn't look natural at all. She had some wild curves in which men would die for. She wore a strapless black dress that wrapped around her body tightly, ending barely over her butt. From all the wrinkles on her dress Shanna could tell she just put it back on. Everything about this woman screamed maturity. Instantly Shanna felt like she had lost.

"It's my little sister," Law's words were like salt on her wounds, dealing the final blow to her self esteem. 

"Your little sister? Oh my god she's so cute! Do you wanna come in and have some juice?" the woman asked.

Shanna fist was clenched so tightly that her nails dug deep into her flesh. Blood dripped from cracks of her fingers to her knuckles, and down to the ground. "Law...." she breathed, her voice laced with anger. "You know exactly how I feel about you.... And yet.... You'd rather settle for a plastic like her than work things out with me..... Ngh-....JUST WHAT DOES SHE HAVE THAT I DON'T?!"

"Maturity, sex appeal, beauty, age," Law answered almost immediately. "I told you Shanna, I'm never going to date a kid like you. You're nothing but a comrade to me. You can be my vice captain, you can even be my little sister-"

"But that's not what I wanted!" Shanna cried. "You know that's not what I wanted!"

"Grow up Shanna! Life isn't about you! You can't have what you want!" Law shouted, causing Shanna to stumble back until her back hit the railing. Law reached out, as if he were afraid that Shanna would fall off. However, the girl simply looked down, her eyes mixed with all sorts of complex emotions. 

"But..." she choked. She looked up at Law, her eyes boring into his with the last bit of hope in them. "You like me....don't you?"

There was a moment of silence. A small gust of wind blew against them, causing the curtains to fly in the air, blocking in between Law and Shanna. Once the wind died down and the curtain started falling down again, revealing Law's face, the man finally said, "No. I don't. Never have and never will." His words pierced through Shanna like bullets. 

Shanna has been beaten up before. She had people kick her in the guts, punch her in the face, stab her with a knife, and even poison forcefully fed into her mouth. She's experienced the feeling of getting beaten up half to death, and she's experienced what it's like to be burned from inside out. She's experienced all kinds of pain, but none of it compared to what she felt at this moment. Shanna's legs wobbled as she forced herself to stand up. "I understand..." she said. Law couldn't see the expression on her face under the shadow of her bangs, but her voice sounded really weak. 

"Sha-" before Law could say anything the girl jumped off the balcony, landing sloppily onto the ground. She stumbled a little bit, but quickly ran away, heading back to the Polar Tang.

Shanna was hurt. There was a permanent scar in her heart and Law was the cause. "Shanna," Law grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her to his chest. He wrapped an arm around her shoulder and another around her waist. "It won't happen again. I won't hurt you anymore, I promise. I was stupid. I was wrong. Even if you don't like me anymore that's fine. Just come back okay? Well all miss you. Just come back."
