Plot Refresher: Luffy saves Law from Doflamingo's palace, and then Doflamingo activates birdcage, and lifts his palace to the top of a four level plateau(hence the earthquake earlier). To get to Doflamingo, Luffy takes Law to the Flower Hill on the forth level, meanwhile Robin, Bartolomeo, and Rebecca also make their way to Flower Hill. Robin and Bartolomeo stops at level three due to Gladius' bombs, making Rebecca the first to make it onto level four. And there she meets Diamante, the culprit who killed her mother.
........
"Oi! Oi! Rebecca!"
Nngh.... So loud.....
"Why do you run? Why won't you fight me?"
Shut up.... I'm trying to sleep...
"You're a gladiator, didn't you come here to kill me?" Diamante lifted his sword. "I heard the Coliseum has been making big bucks using you as the main highlight!" His sword stretches towards the pink haired girl running away. "But it's all over now isn't it?!" The man laughed.
"KYAA!" Rebecca screamed. The sword stretched closer and closer! Just as it was about to make contact with Rebecca, a figure appeared out of nowhere and deflected the sword.
"What?" Diamante's eyes widened.
"Huh?" Rebecca fell to the ground out of fear. The person stumbled a little, letting out a loud groan as she clutched her head. A girl with shoulder length wavy red hair wearing a black sports bra and long black pants torn at the left knee barely stood between Rebecca and Diamante. Her legs seemed weak and her back was hunched. She kept groaning as she rubbed her head. Her face was covered in blood and there were multiple obvious scratches and cuts all over her.
"Ow....." the girl grunted. "How long was I out? Hssss!" She hissed in pain when she touched the lump in the back of her head.
"You're..... You're that brat from Law's pirate crew!" Diamante recognized the girl.
"Huh?" The girl lifted her head, but her face was half covered by her messy red hair. "Who are you?" she asked rather indifferently. The girl looked around her feet left amd right. "Anyone seen my hammer?"
"Hey.... Don't ignore me!" Diamante shouted, his sword stretching out again.
"Look out!" Rebecca screamed.
The red haires girl simply clicked her tongue. Her left hand turned black as she snatched the tip of the sword swung at her. "My head really hurts, and I can't find my trusty hammer.... So I'm not really in the mood right now." Diamante felt a cold chill run down his spine when he saw the dark ocean blue eyes under her wine red bangs. Her eyes were the color of the deep sea, cold and dark. She glared at him with malice and bloodlust.
He stood there in awe as the tip of his sword shattered into pieces in her hand. "Nngh...." she stumbled again as she tried to take a step towards him. She covered her face with her right hand, leaving a crack open for her left eye. Blood dripped from her head, all over her hand and her face. Each step she took towards Diamante, each grunt she lets out of her throat made cold sweat build on his back. This girl.... What is she?
"Ah.... There it is." The girl stopped. Diamante's breath hitched. This is crazy! He's never felt this pressured before. She's just a little girl, no bigger than Rebecca, yet what is this aura? He felt his heart literally stop beating as the girl bent down to her left. Buried inside the sea of sunflowers was a long hammer. The girl picked up the hammer with her left hand, grabbing it by the end of the staff.
The girl lifted the hammer from the ground. "Ugh....." she groaned, her body swinging left and right. "Hssss....ngh.... Where's Law?"
"DIAMANTE!!!!" A voice snaps Diamante out of his trance. He couldn't believe he was so intimidated by the girl before him, who didn't even seem fully awake. His eyes widened when he recognized the muscular, single legged man wielding a sword at him.
"Kyros!" he exclaimed.
"You will pay for what you've done!" Kyros shouted. Swords clashed, although Diamante's was missing a tip. Diamante pushed Kyros back, Kyros landed in front of Rebecca. "Rebecca, I'm sorry. I couldn't do anything for you as a toy, but don't worry it'll all be over now. You don't have to fight anymore."
Tears streamed down Rebecca's face when she saw her father standing before her. Unable to utter a word, she just nodded as she cried.
"Rebecca! Key!"
The red haired girl's head perked when she heard a familiar voice. "Luffy?"
Rebecca looked down the cliff, and she saw a strange glass like staircase leading to the Flower Hill from the third level. Luffy was running up the stair case, his hand out stretched. Rebecca placed the key in Luffy's hand. The rubber boy unlocked Law's handcuffs on their way up.
"Finally! I'm free!" Law exclaimed in relief.
"We're here! Fourth Level! Mingo's gotta be here somewhere!" Luffy said.
"Law! Straw Hat!" Diamante shouted. He swung his sword at the two young pirate captains, but the instant his sword started flying towards them it was deflected by a swift flash. Diamante had forgotten about the girl standing in front of him. For a second it was as if she had become invisible, erased her own presence when Kyros arrived. But now there was that menacing aura again.
The girl had taken her hand off of her face, showing the large amount of blood smeared on it. Combined with her red hair, it was just two blue orbs in the midst of a sea of red. Diamante gasped, taking a few steps back. "Don't you dare lay a fucking finger on my captain."
Just as she was about to take another swing, Kyros stepped in front of her. "Please, just this man, let me take him."
The girl relaxed her stance, and stepped back for the man.
"Shanna!" Law gasped. The Heart Pirate captain ran to the girl and grabbed her by the shoulders. "What's with all the blood? What happened?"
"Law!" Shanna smiled when she saw the face of her captain. She wrapped her arms around Law's torso. "You're okay!" He's alive! That was all the information she needed for her heart to settle back where it belongs. All the tension disappeared, and the only thing matter was that he was in her arms again.
"I'm sorry guys. It looks like I've got my hands full with this one. Can I trust you with taking care of Doflamingo?" Kyros asked the young pirates behind him.
"Of course!" Law, Luffy, and Shanna responded.
Law looked at Shanna's head worriedly. Shanna smiled at him reassuringly. "I'm okay. Let me come with you," she whispered. Law nodded.
He took her hand in his. "We're going to Doflamingo's place!"
"Let's go!" Luffy shouted.
The three of them started running for the palace. "I won't let you!" Diamante's sword started to bend and flap once again, stretching towards the pirates as they ran past him.
"Room!" Shanna hit his sword back with her hammer, that being her last contact with him before she and Law and Luffy disappeared from the sunflower field. "Shambles."
Shanna and Luffy landed on the ground in front of the palace pool garden. Shanna recognized this place. She was here before, after she fought Gladius and chased after Luffy but got lost. "Ugh..." Law grunted.
"Law!" Shanna gasped. She stood up and ran to him, her eyes full of worry. "Are you okay?"
"What happened?!" Luffy asked.
Law panted as he stretched his hand out, showing them the three blood covered bullets. "I operated on myself," he answered. He dropped the bullets to the ground. "That bastard... He used lead bullets!"
Shanna's brows knitted tightly together. "Law...."
"Don't make that face Shanna, I'm not gonna die or anything," Law clicked his tongue. He flicked her on the forehead out of habit, but when she cried out in pain he then realized she had a head injury. "S-Sorry! Are you okay? What happened to you?"
"I'm fine, just got hit in the head with a rock....." Shanna replied, clutching her head. Law's eyes softened. Based on the amount of blood, there's no questioning that there'll definitely be head trauma. She shouldn't come with them, but there was no place safe that he could hide her.
Luffy glanced at Shanna's face, and broke into a fit of laughter. "HAHAHAHAHA! Shanna you're face is such a mess!" he laughed.
"Ahaha....Is it?" Shanna chuckled. She walked over to the pool and glanced at her reflection. She snorted when she saw the blood all over her face as well. The girl bent down and scooped some of the pool water and rinsed the blood off her face so she looks less like a serial killer.
Soft footsteps caught their attention, however, and the three yoing pirates turned to see a young girl with mint green hair wearing a polka dotted dress walking over to them. "Who's the girl?" Luffy wondered. The girl didn't say anything, she just held two grapes in each hand, amd walked over to them. "Hey, are you lost?" Luffy bent down a little to talk to the girl. The girl stretched her hand out. Seemingly wanting to give them the grapes in her hand, but before she could hand them the grapes, some weird thing came floating from behind them towards her, and the girl screamed.
Luffy, Law, and Shanna were confused as heck, but the girl just fainted before them. "What just happened?" askes Shanna. Luffy shrugged. "Then let's go."
"Yeah!" Luffy agreed.
"Wait Shanna!" Law called to her before the two could leave. Shanna turned, her eyes meeting his. "Maybe you should stay here."
"I don't wanna leave your side anymore."
His eyes widened at her words. Does that mean....
"Whatever you're gonna do, we do it together. I don't want to be apart from you anymore." Shanna's eyes softened. She smiled gently at Law. No other words were needed between them to convey what they were feeling. Law held down the happiness overwhelming inside him, knowing now was not the time. He nodded at her.
"Alright."
The three of them arrived at the rooftop of the palace, and there sat Doflamingo, and behind him stood Trebol.
Doflamingo smirked at the three youngsters. He seemed to have expected them, and didn't look at all surprised. "Just to be sure you know. Let me ask you one last thing. What did you come here for?" Doflamingo asked.
"To kick your ass!" said Luffy.
"Same here!" Law shouted.
"Hmph!" Shanna didn't answer the man directly, but her stance told him that she was there for the same reason.
Doflamingo's smirk widened, though they could clearly see the veins of anger on his forehead. "You disappoint me."
Shanna wondered what his eyes looked like under those red, oddly shaped sunglasses. Surely they must look evil.
Soon the fight broke out between Doflamingo and the three young pirates, with Doflamingo provoking Luffy with a guy named Bellamy, and then bringing up the "despair" of thirteen years ago.
Doflamingo formed a clone made of string, sending it straight for Law. Law blocked it's attack with his sword, meanwhile Shanna and Luffy charged at Doflamingo's real body. Doflamingo used Bellamy to hold Luffy back, while Trebol stepped in front of Doflamingo to take on Shanna.
Shanna tapped her hammer on the ground as she charged forward. Just as she was about to jump she felt something hold her back. Shanna looked down. "What's this?" she exclaimed at the strange sticky substance at her feet.
"Shanna! He ate the Beta Beta Fruit! He's a sticky human! Don't let him get that sticky substance on you!" Law shouted.
"You know this would've been highly appreciated if you told me before I got stuck!" Shanna tried to lift her feet from the mucus.
"Well you should've listened first before you charged! How many times have I told you about impulse attacks?!"
"Really Law?! Now?!" Shanna wanted to laugh, but now really wasn't a good time for that.
"TRA-GUY! I'M ANGRY! I'll take him down!" Luffy shouted in the midst of his fight with Bellamy.
Law was still holding back the string clone. "You fool! I told you not to get angry!"
"Imma beat him now!" Luffy's body turned red from his gear second. He started flying towards Law, his arms stretched far behind him. "GOMU GOMU NO..."
"Bastard! Just you wait!" Law groaned.
"Ne! Ne! He's gonna hit Law! Has he gone crazy?!" Trebol exclaimed.
"Room!" Luffy was only three meters away from Law now. "Shambles!" In an instant Law shifted places with Doflamingo, and Shanna with Trebol. Years of fighting side by side with Law made her ready for these swaps at any moment. Shanna was quick to knock Trebol into the ground, creating a large dent.
"RED HAWK!" Luffy successfully lands a punch in Doflamingo's gut.
Shanna leapt into the air, raising her hammer. "METEOR STRIKE!" she shouted as she smashed the hammer down into Trebol. The ground shattered beneath them, creating a giant hole. Both Shanna and Trebol fell.
