"Mmm, that was a good meal." Jaehyun said as he patted his stomach, giving Jenna a small smile. A small blush tinted Jenna's cheeks at the compliment. The three old friends had chatted over their childhood memories, mainly about the obviously stupid endeavors that their childhood selves thought were good ideas at the time. Over smiles and laughter, they reminsced their past through a home cooked meal by Jenna.

"Thanks." Jenna said, starting to collect their plates, but Johnny grabbed them from her hand, making her glare at him.

"You cooked dinner, I'll do the dishes," Johnny said, forcing his sister back down in the chair.

"Plus, I'll let you two catch up." Johnny said, smirking at them as he left for the kitchen. Jenna and Jaehyun sat there, in awkward silence.

"Jenna," Jaehyun started, but Jenna had cut him off.

"You never called." Jenna told him, releasing the grudge she didn't know she was holding. Jaehyun looked at the girl with soft eyes.

"What do you-" he was cut off again.

"You didn't tell me you were leaving for America. You changed your number and didn't contact me to tell me. You left right after we graduated without a word!" Jenna said, her voice growing louder at the end. She took a deep breath, calming herself down as Jaehyun sunk back in his chair.

"My parents sent me away." Jaehyun softly said, looking down at his lap. Jenna looked at him, wanting to hear more of what he had to say.

"They wanted me to get away from Neo City." Jaehyun continued, looking up to meet her eyes. She looked at him with concern, clearly still caring about him.

"Why?" Jenna asked him. Jaehyun sighed, already knowing the response was not going to leave the woman across from him satisfied.

"I can't say." Jaehyun told her. Jenna opened her mouth, wanting to say more, but Johnny entered the room. Johnny looked at the two, confused as to why there was such great tension between the two but quickly shook it off.

"Jaehyun, you ready to go?" Johnny asked his friend.

"Yeah, let's go." Jaehyun replied, eyes locked with Jenna's until the last second.

...

"Johnny, give me Jenna's number." Jaehyun asked, as he walked towards the older male, both their cars parked underground.

"Why do you want my sister's number? You imported all your contacts on your new phone." Johnny said, giving Jaehyun a smirk as he pressed the elevator button.

"I deleted her number." Jaehyun told him, avoiding eye contact as he stared at the elevator doors instead. They soon opened, the two entering as the elevator brought them to the main floor of the elevator.

"Fine, I'll send it to you, Mr. Mysterious." Johnny joked as the elevator doors, opened, revealing the marble lobby. The two walked down the halls, turning towards a door. They opened it, entering the large meeting room where nineteen pairs of eyes stared back at them.

"You're late." The male at the head of the table said to the two males walking into the room, taking their seats at the other end.

"Sorry Taeyong, Johnny doesn't like speeding." Jaehyun said with a smirk.

...

Jenna sat on her bed, looking at the clock. It was 2 am and Johnny still wasn't home yet. She sighed, giving up on waiting for her brother and deciding to sleep instead. As she laid her head on her pillow, her phone on the nightstand table buzzed. She reached her arm out, looking at the notification.

Unknown Number
What time is your lunch break tomorrow?

Jenna sat up on her bed, turning her lamp back on as she looked at the message. She pondered for a moment before deciding to respond.

Jenna
Who are you?

To Jenna's surprise, the person had responded immediately. She felt her nerves calm down as she saw the name.

Unknown Number
Sorry, I forgot. It's Jaehyun, Johnny gave me your number.

Jenna
My lunch break is at 12:30 pm. Why do you ask?

Jaehyun
Let's go out for lunch.

Jenna looked at the message for a moment before deciding not to respond. She returned her phone to the bedside table, turning her lamp off before falling asleep.

...

Johnny was walking around the office, observing his workers when he saw a familiar face at the front. He walked towards the receptionist desk, where Jaehyun was waiting, hands in his pockets.

"Jaehyun, what are you doing here?" Johnny asked his friend. Jaehyun's eyes motioned to the receptionist.

"Apparently I can't come in because I don't have an appointment." Jaehyun said, eyes rolling. Johnny laughed as he turned to the receptionist, who was now shaking.

"Hana, if Mr. Jeong ever comes, please guide him to my office." Johnny told the receptionist as he let Jaehyun enter. The receptionist got up, quickly bowing to Johnny.

"Yes Mr. Seo, I won't let this happen again." She told him. Johnny simply chuckled, letting the poor girl return to her work.

"Don't worry, it was a small misunderstanding." Johnny said, guiding Jaehyun to his office.

"I'm actually not here to see you." Jaehyun told him as they walked past the workers. Johnny stopped in his tracks, raising an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?" Johnny asked the male beside him. Jaehyun slowly turned around, giving his friend a grin.

"I'm here for Jenna." Jaehyun said, passing Johnny his phone, showing him his messages from the night before.

...

"Miss. Seo, you have a guest." Mark informed the girl from the intercom. Jenna pressed the button down, sending Mark her response.

"Let him in." She told Mark. The doors opened, revealing the one person she did not want to see.

"Why are you here?" Jenna asked as Jaehyun walked into her office, looking around.

"You left me on read. I'm hurt." Jaehyun said, putting a hand over his chest. Jenna rolled her eyes.

"You still came." She pointed out, checking her watch for the time. 12:29 pm. She sighed, walking pass the male, grabbing her jacket from her closest. Jaehyun smirked, as he turned around, putting his hands in his pocket.

"Miss. Seo, do you still like Italian?"

Jaehyun is one of the most handsome men i have ever seen in my life, hands down.
