Me and Amajiki Senpai are on patrol with Fatgum right now, helping out a different agency with a rising amount of villains in this district recently.

I look around, excited to be in a new place as Amajiki mutters dejectedly next to me.

"Helping out an agency with trouble in a different district is so MANLY!" I say excitedly to him. He just looks over at me before squinting and looking away as if I blinded him. Odd.

"Too bright..." I hear him mutter.

My eyebrows furrow. It's almost evening, how is it too bright?

Maybe I'll get him some sunglasses later.

I see a villain streak across the street, briefcase in hand as someone shouts at her.

"STOP! HELP! A VILLAIN STOLE MY MONEY!"

I look over at Fatgum and nod.

"I got this!"

I run over, jumping above a postal box as I try to catch up with the woman. She seems not to have a speed quirk but she looks to have a slim, agile body, so it's hard for me to catch her.

Eventually I have her cornered in a dead end and I smile.

She seems to debate her options for a moment before deciding and running towards me. A pink ball shoots out of her hands at me as I take full impact so none of the citizens behind me get hit.

I fly back a bit and feel my stamina drain away.

I feel sleepy, but know that I have to finish the fight so I grab her wrist as she runs past and snatch the briefcase. She looks over at me, obviously surprised that I was able to steal her loot, but now going at a momentum too fast to turn back around and get it from me.

I laugh triumphantly but that soon turns to a frown as she speeds away, leaving me with a briefcase full of money and no apprehended villain.

Eventually Fatgum and Amajiki Senpai catch up with me, the man trailing slightly behind them as I hand him back his money and admit my defeat.

He reassures me that at least I got the money back, and I nod with a bright smile as we continue our patrol.

By the end I feel too drained to keep going, and Fatgum lets me leave early with Amajiki Senpai to make sure I get back to the dorms alright and get proper rest.

I yawn as I wave him off at Heights Alliance and trudge my way to my room.

I quickly change into my pajamas and flop face down onto my comfy bed, falling asleep almost instantly.
