One scream, two cries of agony, and endless tears... This described your current situation perfectly, you as in Shindou Alex.

No one knew, no one knew of this dark secret of yours but you, and your brother of course, You were abused, by none other than your very own father.

Two screams, Two cries of agony, and endless tears.

Three screams, two cries of agony, and endless tears.

Four screams, Three cries of agony, and endless tears.

A laugh sounded at this 'Miserable' state of yours "Pathetic" Said the laughing voice "This is a daughter of mine?" He scoffed to which you looked down to the ground, clutching your now tattered shirt, your tears -Oh how much you cried these- dropping to the ground. He left.

Shindou rushed into the room. You looked up at him, your tears streaming down your cheeks refusing to perish, "Are you okay?!" He asked frantically to which you nodded -what a stupid question, of course you weren't okay, you were just whipped to oblivion.

Your brother carried you, taking you out of that room to which you were very much grateful as you snuggled to his back, he placed you down on your bed as you reached your room, he ran a hand through his hair sighing sadly at your vulnerable state, he then began to rummage your closet looking for something you'd be able to comfortably wear.

As he turned around holding you PJs -Which's only down fall is that they showcase you bruises- he couldn't help but smile lightly seeing you asleep. He called in one of the maids to get you changed.

He got  back, then locked the door, he wiped away the tears which stained your face with a wet tissue, he then dried your face, he stayed with you to watch over you, he wouldn't allow his father to get to you again -that was what'd he always say, though he always ended up failing.

The next morning, you woke up to the sound of someone playing the piano, You walked down stairs very well knowing that it was your brother, and if he played that meant your father was out, thankfully. 

You had thought that it was only your brother down there, and so you didn't bother covering your bruises, but when you saw Kirino, you eyes widened, and so did his... 

"Alex?! Alex what happened?!" he asked in panic as he saw all these hues of purple and blue covering your arms, with a bit of dries blood on your shoulders from the previous day.

You looked down not answering, just remembering made you cry 'Tap, Pause, Tap' went the sound of your tears at they fell to the ground.

His eyes widened even more, he pulled you into a gentle hug, being careful not hurt you with all those bruises, "Shhh, Please don't cry, I'm sorry, I won't ask anymore.

You shook your head "N-no, Its fine.... I just.."

"Its okay, you don't have to say anything" He assured you gently holding you in his arms, it was rather pleasant and comforting.

Shindou just stared at the both of you, how that mere gesture of his best-friend made you calm down, how it comforted you, how he was careful not to hurt you and how he held you as if you were the most fragile and vulnerable thing in the world, it was as clear as the sun in a day without clouds that you both loved each other, but when you would confess, only time could tell.

After you excused yourself to go to your room, it wasn't much time before Kirino asked if he could stay over for the night, to say that the lover-boy was worried would be an understatement.

Shindou hesitatingly agreed, and now they were headed to your room as Kirino insisted for you to join. 

Shindou knocked "Alex?"

"Yes?" You answered tying up your hair which you've been putting to a side-braid as you walked to the door.

"Would you like to join me and Kirino in our sleepover?" He asked

"I'd love to" You smiled opening the door.

"Great!" Said Kirino smiling at you, and you of course returned the smile.

Shindou shook his head at you two, or what he'd call the 'love-sick couple' as you headed towards his room, he was in all honesty still uncertain if he likes the thought of you and his best-friend together, or you with anyone for that matter, and he had to admit, he was overprotective, very overprotective.

The three of you finally reached Shindou's room, you began to settle down on the top bunk-bed as Kirino was on the bunk under you, and Shindou beside you on a separate bed. 

The guys -annoyingly enough- put on a horror movie, and so when the time to sleep came -even though you cut off half the movie, shutting your eyes tightly and hiding under the blanket or placing a pillow above your face whenever a scary part came- you were scared, You distrustfully made your way down the ladder, deciding to sleep on Kirino's bed because in that way you wouldn't have to touch the floor.

Tucking yourself in, you immediately snuggled into Kirino's chest.

"Alex?" he asked drowsily.

"Y-Yes?" You answered blushing because of the position you put yourself in, literally, you were quite thankful it was dark so he wouldn't see that blush.

"Why are you down here?" he asked confused.

Your blush darkened as you admitted your fear, "I-I'm Scared.."

Kirino then didn't reply, he just silently pulled you closer, again careful not to hurt you as he remembered your bruises, and rested his chin on top of yours.

You closed your eyes, suddenly feeling all safe and secure, and went to sleep.

As you opened your eyes, they widened, why? Kirino just kissed you good-morning! the darkest shade of red coated your cheeks as you stared at him while he pulled away, he merely laughed at your reaction.

"W-What was that for?!" You asked as the kiss came out of nowhere.

"Eh, so my guess was right, you don't remember..."   

You furrowed your brows confused.

𝔉𝔩𝔞𝔰𝔥𝔟𝔞𝔠𝔨~

"Ranmaru?" You called out using his first name, it wasn't your fault, you were asleep.

He hummed in response wondering what you could want at 1 am.

"Why are you so handsome?"  You asked childishly with a whine.

"W-What?"  he asked surprised now fully awake.

"Its not fair! you always make my heart pound, why can't I make your heart pound like that?" You asked, your voice didn't only hold a pout, but also a fair amount of sadness.

"A-Alex, What do you mean? I--" Kirino couldn't put anything into words, he was utterly speechless, but one though remained on his mind 'you do make my heart pound, you make it pound like crazy, and I'm glad to know that your heart also pounds for me' ((Can't they use the word Beat?)) 

"Why is it taking to long for you to figure out that I love you?" you asked.

"I love you too, Alex"  That seemed to shut you up, and so he sighed in relief.

"Ranmaru?" 

He hummed "What now?"

"Kiss me" You said shamelessly.

He blushed, his cheeks now the colour of his hair "O-Okay" He said hovering over you, then leaning in giving you a quick kiss, after that he hurriedly went back to his previous position on the bed.

This seemed to satisfy you as you seemed content and stayed silent, though just as soon as he was about to sleep...

"Ranmaru?"

"Alex, sleep" He ordered tiredly pulling you closer in his embrace not opening his eyes.

"Okay" You pouted, but did stay silent after that allowing precious sleep to fully consume the room, thankfully.

"E-Eh, I-I did that?!" you asked in disbelief, blushing in embarrassment as he nodded.

"So, I was wondering... did you mean what you said?" he asked with a light blush.

Not talking as you were still embarrassed, you nodded hiding your face in a pillow.

He gently lifted your face off of the pillow "I'm glad" He murmured as he leaned in to kiss you.

You kissed back, butterflies exploding in your stomach, ((RIP butterflies)) as you wrapped your arms around his neck.

He grinned, placing his hands behind your back to support you against him.

"Ehm, Ehm" Shindou coughed making you two spring away from each other with heavy blushs.

"Seriously? First thing in the morning?" He scolded "You could've at least got out of bed first" He then sighed muttering to himself "Sleepy-heads" before walking out.

You two turned to look at each-other before breaking into laughs, after the both of you calmed down, Kirino held your hands gently "So Alex, will you be my girlfriend?"

You smiled blushing "Gladly"

You two would have a hell of a lecture from Shindou later on, and Kirino might possibly die, But the both of you didn't care as you kissed again, hey, at least you were together now.
