April wakes up in the morning, feeling calm and happy. Finally a good night after all of these days. Moreover, her throat doesn't hurt anymore and the marks on her neck seem to be almost invisible. She stretches in her bed, after letting out a heavy but satisfied breath. She gets up, feeling fit, and gets dressed on for the day. She puts her books and other affairs she would need in her bag. She opens her window and looks outside to the view on Monsters University. She smiles as she sees that it's a bright and sunny day. She then notices down on a corner in the academy's court, there was Mike with his fraternity team in front of a building. And Mike is sort of standing in front of all of them, except Sulley who was standing clutched against a tree.

"They're probably practicing.", she tells herself, shrugging.

She then marches back inside her room, letting the window open to let some fresh air and then brushes her hair and her teeth. She puts her headphones around her neck, which are attached to her walker, ready to leave.

"Attention to all of Monsters University!", the voice of the vice-president calls out on his megaphone, "This afternoon, the Scare Games will go on with the next event! For any scarers interested and particularly quiet, and I mean absolutely quiet, meet us at the grand library of Monsters University!"

April chuckles.

"I really wonder what Mike will try to do with his team to get a chance to not fail.", she hums to herself, "And hopefully they won't. They may have got luck yesterday, but luck isn't always there when you need it."

She then walks to the window and closes it, feeling the room get a bit too cold. She then takes her bag and walks out of her dorm, locking the door behind her.

After her lessons, April immediately walks in direction of the library and joined a part of the public on a balcony of watch the action going on down there. The fraternities are all grouped on a corner of the library and they got to take their fraternity flags which were hanging on a statue at the opposite side from where the fraternity were. And they got to grab it and leave the library before any other fraternities. But they got to do it quietly, because they are in a library and the librarian would catch them if they weren't quiet enough. And after a bit of time, it seems like there was only three teams left; the HSS, the EEK and the OK. The HSS are the closest to reach their flags. On another balcony, the Greek Council president and vice-president are watching and commenting the action.

"We are at the halfway point of the second event, and things are getting interesting.", whispers the president.

The misfits walk in line with Mike, revealing an annoyed Sulley. Sulley looks ahead to see the HSS sisters as they reach for their flag.

"Got it!", says the one of the team who grabbed the flag.

They quickly get out of the library, having passed the test. The other two flags left hanging are green and purple for the two remaining teams.

"Only two teams left.", whispers the president further, "Who will make it out with their flag and who will be eliminated?"

April's body is like almost frozen still. She only dares to move her head to watch the Oozma Kappa, in fear to make noise. She doesn't know what the librarian is capable of, but she wouldn't wish to know.

"In a real scare you do not wanna get caught by a kid's parent, and in this event you DO NOT want to get caught by..."The librarian."", comments the vice-president.

The librarian presses her tentacle fingers to her lips and quiets the room.

"Shhh. Quiet."

She can hear a pin drop but she needs strong glasses to see anything.

The Oozmas and the EEKs are creeping toward their flags. A student is studying and gets up from his chair and the floor makes a small squeak. Suddenly, and unfortunately for him, the old librarian rises up, turning into a terrifying creature. She grabs hold of the student and lifts him up.

"I said, quiet....", she shushes.

She throws the student through the dome of the library. The student flies through the air, dropping through a tree and into the river.

"Oh well, now I know that I would never ever want to enter this library again.", April facepalms herself internally.

It seems like the fraternity of the Oozma Kappa is trying their best to move quietly by walking slowly on tip toes. But maybe that's too slow isn't it? And Sulley might be agreeing with that. Annoyed of not moving faster, he immediately rushes past his team and moves towards the statue with the flags. April gasps quietly.

"What are you doing?", she whispers gasps out.

Sulley runs to a book ladder and climbs on. It makes a loud creak! Everyone stops and looks back at the librarian. The librarian turns around at Sulley's noise but luckily she can't see very well. So she goes about her business. But then Sulley is racing to the top ladder. Sulley reaches for the Oozmas flag and almost gets it. But the ladder starts to come off the tracks under strain. Sulley falls to the ground with a thunderous SLAM. The librarian spins toward the sound, and quickly runs toward Sulley, growling.

"Oh no....", April gulps.

Her tentacles poised to grab him - he cringes, waiting to be yanked - but just then... POP! POP! POP! POP! POP! POP! POP! POP!

"Wut?", April lets out quietly, trying to see where that noise came from.

The librarian whips around - who's making that noise? It's DON! And he's on his hands and knees crawling along the floor. His tentacles are making a loud, sticky, suction cup sound. The librarian leaves Sulley behind and makes a beeline for DON, her tentacles shooting toward him.

Now it's Don's turn to cringe, bracing for impact. Just before the librarian reaches Don... Terri and Terry start-up their crazy dance moves.

"5, 6, 7, 8! Da-Da-da-da-da...look over here!", Terri yells.

"Over here! Ahhhh!", Terry yells too.

"Da-da-da-da! Over here now....", Terri yells again.

April's eyes widen of surprise. The librarian stops in her tracks and now she turns towards Terri and Terry.

Now it's Terri and Terry's turn to be scared. But just as the librarian's tentacle reaches for them--

Art is now standing on top of a table stomping his feet and laughing hysterically.

"Is that legal?", asks out a crowd member on the balcony.

"You better believe it, mop top! The only rule is don't get caught.", answers the vice-president.

April understands better as she heard out what the vice-president said. She can also see Squishy, who hasn't been part of all this distraction, climb on the library ladder and catch the flag in his tiny hands. He then climbed down and joined the others as they will soon try to escape the library.

"Yes!", exclaims April, proud of the team's work before covering her mouth with her hands, afraid the librarian has heard her.

But the old monster was too occupied to catch the fraternity to have listened. As the librarian guns for Art, he somersaults off the table and rolls around in front of her, laughing like a mad man. Mike looks on, horrified. The EEKs are using a rope to get to their flag. Art continues rolling right past Sulley. Terri and Terry shout at the librarian. As the librarian pursues Terri and Terry, one of her tentacles knocks the EEK pyramid over. She charges after the whole group. The misfits run past Mike and pull him along. The Oozmas narrowly miss her outstretched tentacles and burst through the library front doors to safety.

"Yes.", April now whispers, her fists raised up on air victoriously.

But she can see close by that the EEK are trying to rush to their flag, thinking that the librarian is not close by, before realizing that the Oozma Kappa have made it out. And the librarian, defeated, has heard their noises and now is surging towards them to attack them. She stands in front of them, glaring down at the team as they look awkwardly at her and chuckle.

"Oops.", they exclaimed.

Then the librarian grabs them all in her tentacles and ejects them out of the library by the window on the roof. Screams could be heard outside from the team.

"Ouch.", cringes out April, not wishing to know how they would land.

Now the crowd on the balcony, along with the Greek council, has reunited outside to announce the winners.

"The EEKs have been eliminated and Oozma Kappa live to scare another day!", the vice-president announces.

Meanwhile, a displeased Hardscrabble stands nearby observing. Art, Terri, Terry, Squishy and Don are seen by April, who observes the team closely, celebrate. Mike watches the misfits. He seems to smile, appreciating what they've done. And April is happy about it.

"They may have a chance then.", she mumbles, smiling.

April now leaves the crowd and the fraternities to their celebrations. She is going towards her dorm to relax. Putting on her headphones, still walking, she intends to put on music and sorts out a cassette from a small pocket in her trousers. She is about to put on the cassette inside the walker when she unintentionally is marching nearby someone who is standing on a against the wall of the dorms.

"Ahem.", calls out the voice of that person.

April breaks off her attention from her walker and looks up towards her, to see who just called out. Looking on a side, she recognizes the figure staring at her with crossed arms and his smarmy smirk on like he usually wears on. April rolls her eyes.

"Oh cool. The devil horns monster in person.", she mumbles out but loud enough for him to hear it.

"Oh, so now that's my new surname?", Johnny Worthington chuckles out, starting to march towards April.

Ignoring his question, she looks sternly up at him, expecting him to throw out a critique or a snobby harass.

"What do you want, Worthington?", she scoffs, wary.

Johnny lifts his hands up, showing him he doesn't have any bad intentions on her right at this moment.

"Relax, I haven't planned anything. If I would've, then where are my pals?", he raises an eyebrow up, still smirking.

April looks around herself, behind her, behind him, aside, up the dorms if they were hiding there.... nobody else from the ROR is around but Johnny.

"Ok. But what if your solo coming isn't a ruse?", she tests him.

"You got my word, there isn't such thing.", Johnny assures, clearing his throat, "Look, we got on the wrong foot you and I, so I just thought you would be interested in coming into our fraternity and sorority party that is starting up tonight."

"Tsk, if you ever think I can believe in such-", April mocks out, looking away, before realizing what he just said, looking back at him, confused, "Uh, what?"

"Just a party. Everyone here can have issues and, modestly me too, so what could be bad if you try to cool down into a party like mine. Promise, no troubles or harasses on you. I just want to cool things down.", Johnny explains.

April tilts her head aside, looking unconvinced and not trusting at him.

"I may have misunderstood and underestimated you and also many other monsters, like the Oozma Kappas, but let me repay you with that. You wouldn't refuse to a peace maker, would you?", Johnny says.

April hesitates, not sure of what the heck Johnny is trying to do or if he is sincere. But why not give him a chance? Even snobs can get second chances. She now sighs, softening her gaze on him and shrugs.

"Sure. You got cool music and a big dance floor, I suppose.", April smirks out, kind of teasing him.

Johnny chuckles.

"Of course, what do you take me for. So that's a yes? Tonight then. Do not be late. You wouldn't want to miss anything fun now don't you?", he says, starting to walk away.

"Welp, count on me.", April finally says, walking to her dorm, surprised to actually have been invited by such a guy like Johnny.

And also after all what happened between them and how important he is because of his status, that was unimaginable. But she is happy. Maybe he now understands her and has changed.

"Sure.", Johnny says quietly under his breath, grinning and frowning, something in his mind that he has planned as "fun".
