The Greek Council is about to start to invite the fraternities to candidate themselves in the Scare Games in a few days. Everyone of the willing fraternities are ready and have their teams filled up. All except the Roar Omega Roar. They surprisingly haven't found their last champion yet. And they are already in light panic about it. If they can't find at least one monster so tough and scary to participate, they won't play in the games. And that would be true disappointment and shame for the elite fraternity. Johnny is inside his room, thinking over on his desk. Of course he needs to find someone and quickly. Of course he doesn't want to give up on his constraints to join in the fraternity. It's just so hard and there's so little time now. It frustrates him. Maybe if he lightened up the constraints just a little? But what if that random person he might choose is just another total loser and could make the team lose? Think Worthington, think.

Out of frustration, he slams his desk with a fist. That's when, at the window, he spots someone walking around the campus. It's the ten minutes break time so of course there are students wandering around. That monster.... he thought about them. He knows them. He doesn't know all of their abilities, but one thing for sure, he knows they scare and have a chance. But to say until when?.... he doesn't know. Their name isn't popular nor doesn't talk about long scare generation, but they have talent. Maybe if they could.... no. He isn't sure if they are scary enough to surpass the games.... And what would the others say if he let them in? His companions, the other students, his father.... but at the same time, he knows that they sure wanted to join in the Games so badly.... and he needs at least one more player.... Johnny stares at that monster, while they were talking with someone else. He grunts to himself after a while, a hand stroking hard on his forehead.

"It's time for change.", he says, getting up from his seat, decisive, knowing what he wants and not willing to go back.

He starts walking out of his room, knowing clearly what he'll do.

The Roar Omega Roar fraternity is gathered around the hall, Johnny standing in front of the rest of the team. He has something important to announce them to make things move forward for once.

"Gentlemen, there will be changes, here in this row, here in our fraternity. I know, this will probably trouble you at first, but trust me, you will understand.", he starts, clearing his throat up, "Sadly, we haven't found out our new and last member for the next Scare Games this season. Sadly not what we expect from them. The time is almost up. We need to move fast. So, I'll be changing up the conditions here."

The others start to look at each other.

"I've thought a lot about it, and I've come to a conclusion. I have chosen someone in particular for this affair. Do not get mad, you know who this is. And yes, again, I will take all the responsibilities for what my father might say about this.", Johnny adds.

The group of four stare at Johnny blankly for a while before realizing. They gasp.

"For real?!", they all say, shocked.

"I know.", Johnny says, his hands up and shaking at them, "Calm down now, boys."

"Do you even know if they're a pro scarer? Do you know what this will cost in this fraternity's reputation?", Chet panics, "We'll be doomed!"

"I said calm down!", Johnny says sternly, the tone raised up, "I know it sounds terrific, but I think we have arrived to a point of no choices here."

"Oh your dad will surely disapprove.", Javier says.

"So? I think I am tired of having to stay stuck on his own ways. I have grown up since a long time now. If I say some things will get changed, they will. Like I said, I'll take it all. It's okay if I have to hear him out all day long again and telling me how disappointed he is.", Johnny says seriously.

The others stare at him, shocked by his last speech. The leader has loosened a bit of his cool. He sighs.

"You sure of all of it?", Chet asks.

"You okay?", Chip asks then.

"Yes and yes.", he says, a hand behind the back of his neck, "It's nothing."

"Look, we're fine if they join, but they truly need to show us all their guts, man.", Chip says, Reggie nodding next to him.

"Yeah, and you sure need to be careful once this change will be done here.", Javier adds.

"We trust you.", Chet finally says.

Johnny smiles, content that his compatriots finally show some positivity for this affair.

"Good, I'll search them after the studies today to talk with them and propose them this.", Johnny says, about to turn away.

"Wait, just one thing.", Chet interrupts.

"Hm?", Johnny turns back around.

"You know they're female right?"

Johnny chuckles, his smarmy look on him.

"Of course I know.", he says, finally turning away.

April is walking around the campus of the university with Fanny. The first catalogues about the incoming Scare Games have come out already and Fanny has taken one of them, admiring it.

"The Scare Games entries will start pretty soon. I can't believe I'm going to participate in one of those! I love competitions!", she exclaims.

"I'm glad.", April says, cheering, "I'm sure you'll do great there."

"I'm prepared! Me and the Oozma Kappa will have so much fun.", Fanny exclaims again, sparkles in her eyes.

April giggles, before feeling some light grief for not being able to participate in the games after all she tried to do to be there. She wished she could have been part of a team too. She's sure she would have fun. Fanny notices her soft frowning expression.

"Is there something?", she asks.

"Huh? No, it's fine. I just tried reaching out to participate in the Scare Games too and join a sorority.", April reveals.

"Really? Are you in there too?", Fanny gets excited.

"Well, unfortunately no. Seems like no one was free to let me in.", April chuckles awkwardly with a light pinch of deception.

"What?", Fanny's mood dropped off slowly, "Aw, I'm sorry. If I knew I would have let you my place in the Oozmas."

"Nah, don't worry. I'll get through this. I don't need this all. It's not a random competition that's going to stop me from studying and living my life for most normally, you know? I'll be fine.", April reassures.

"You certain?"

"Very certain.", April grins brightly.

"Okay, if you say so.", Fanny says, suddenly changing the subject, "Anyway, I really wonder how it will be there. You are in Monsters University longer than me. Have you seen the competition of last year? How are the events?"

"Well, pretty terrific if you ask me. Some are tougher than others, but they're all pretty tricky. I don't know exactly if every season they change events or keep the same, but they had made a lot of improvements on that point.", April explains.

"Really? Oh well.... I guess we will train harder if it happens that the events are different than last year."

April, while they are still talking, doesn't know why, but she feels as if someone observed her from somewhere. She doesn't dare to look to where she feels eyes on her, but she has a weird feeling about it. But let's not worry about it for now. She's accompanied with Fanny, she's not alone. If anything would happen, they would be helping each other.

After the lessons, April is taking her free time to make graffitis in her room on canvasses. Last weeks she hasn't been much on graffitis since she usually now spends more time with Johnny and Fanny as she began to be friends with her. Then she hears knocks on her door.

"You can come in. The door's unlocked.", she calls out.

The door opens up slowly and someone enters inside her dorm. April turns her head to whoever has decided to come take a visit in her dorm. She smiles softly as she recognizes him.

"Hey there Johnny. It's nice to see you today.", she says, putting away the spray doses she was using and walking towards him.

"Hello there, love. How you doing?", he says, a hand caressing one of April's cheeks and kissing her forehead tenderly.

"Pretty good, yes. How about you? Why are you here?"

"First, because I wanted to see my sweet little snake face, and second I thought I had to talk to you about something. It might interest you.", he smirks at her.

"Really? Tell me.", April asks out, sitting on her bed and patting it next to her to show him to sit down.

He does so and clears his throat up.

"I have thought a lot about it. Truly a lot.", he starts, chuckling, "You know that this year, there will be another season of the Scare Games, right?"

"Yup.", April answers.

"Well, me and my team will be there this year too to assure victory at once. I think my team needs some encouragement motivation since last year.  Unfortunately though, we haven't found out our last member for the team."

"Really? How you going to do then?", April asks, astonished.

"Well, I decided to change some rules and conditions here in our fraternity to let someone enter in, if they wish to. Someone I know which has talent in scaring. Someone who I put on my faith and my trust on a lot for this. Someone who I think is worth this. Can you guess?", Johnny asks.

April, as innocent as she is, is starting to think over who that chosen one might be. Who around the campus is as popular and as scary to be promoted to join the Roar Omega Roar?

"Let's see.... Gordon Gargoyle? "The spike"?", she starts sorting out names.

"He refuted our propose long ago.", Johnny denies.

"Okay.... Kyle Krimson?"

"No."

"Morris Maul?"

"Not either."

"Joe Jinx?"

"You give up?"

"I really don't know. Who is it you thought of adding in your team? There aren't many elite scarers here on campus you know?"

"I don't need much of this any longer. I know there's someone I think I can trust enough to win these games. It's you."

April freezes, processing what he just said. She blinks twice before her jaw drops. She shakes her head violently.

"Woah, woah, wait, wait!", she exclaims out loud, "Me? What? Is that even possible?"

"With me anything is possible, rookie.", Johnny laughs.

"But why? Why me? I'm not much. Just a scare major. I don't know if I am capable. I mean, your team is at a high scaring level and I'm just learning to at least know a bit about it. I-"

"You are talented, April.", Johnny says sincerely, staring right through her big roundish eyes, "I wouldn't have said this if it wasn't true. Trust me, I recognize a scarer if I see one, and Dean Hardscrabble sure would have thrown you out of the program last year if you weren't."

April stares back at him, charmed and touched by his words. She lets out a little laughing breath, before she thinks again.

"But wait. I'm a girl. Yours is a fraternity.", she says.

"It's no problem anymore. I already changed it to a unisex team. You can join it with ease. That of course if you want to."

"You did what? All this so that I...."

Johnny nods, smiling up. April covers her mouth with one hand, shocked by this reveal.

"I honestly didn't think you would do that. What about the traditions and the habits there was once in this fraternity for years?", she asks.

"I don't care much anymore about the traditions. It just gets me stuck too much with this while I can simply find easy solutions for everyone in the team. And since I know you wanted so badly to play in, I thought I could give you a try, that if only I know I can trust you to assure well."

A large smile of happiness appears on April's face as she immediately jumps on Johnny to hug him, to his surprise making him fall backwards on the bed.

"Thank you so much. This is amazing! I swear, I will try all and give out my best! I love you so much! You are the nicest and most generous monster I've ever met!", she says, tearing up while hugging him tightly.

Johnny laughs by her sweet reaction and hugs her back with a hand behind the back of her head and the other to her back, petting her.

"So, this is a yes?", he asks.

"Of course!", she answers.

"Welcome to the team then. You are promoted as the first Roar Omega Roar female in its history. I love you, my dear.", he says, purring a bit in the end from the warm and tender hug there was.

He was proud of his own decision and of her accepting the offer. He didn't care if he had to face the negative consequences, like having to get scolded by his own father or having to hear out a long monologue argument about traditions and dishonor etc. He is old enough now to take his own responsibilities. He is already a man monster. He's getting tired of having to depend from what his family expects from him since all his life. And hopefully they'll understand.

April on her side is more than happy. The happiest she's ever been this year. She is admitted into a team and she can now play in the Scare Games competition. She was hoping for this to happen one day. And she never thought she would be joining such a team like Johnny's. No joking, this team is tough and strict in general, she wouldn't have thought she could reach their level. But she's going to work hard to not deceive them all. She wanted a chance, she got it. Now she has to show that she earns it. Even if it means that she has to train at night too, knowing how hard the rest of the team works, she has to prove the same. For Johnny. For herself. For Mike in a certain way. If only he could see her. Well not really since she is in his rivalry team, but if only he could see her perform.

"Since like I made your day, you are pretty much cuddly today, are you?", Johnny laughs out, seeing how long she's been hugging him.

April realizes and lets go off him, blushing pink.

"Oops, sorry. I might have suffocated you a bit.", she laughs back, embarrassed and staying sit on the bed.

"Not even a little bit. I loved that.", Johnny smirks to her, standing sit before holding April's chin with a hand and connect his lips on hers.

April shivered lightly, not expecting the movement but then melting in the kiss as she closed her eyes. Her blush grew bigger at the impact and she enjoys the feeling it gave her as the kiss went on silently but pleasant. Johnny leans more towards her, deepening the kiss more. April can feel her cheeks heat up as it went on for a minute. Johnny parts from her, letting her breath after this little session. He chuckles by seeing her face all red.

"Did I ever mention how adorable you look like this?", he asks, "Your face could be compared to a small round tomato."

"Hey come on.", she shakes her head abruptly from embarrassment to wipe away the blush by the joking calling, flustered, "How dare you call me that?"

"Just messing a bit with you.", he laughs at her reaction.

Then April thinks over something.

"Just a thing, if I join your team, does this mean I have to move out in your row?", she asks, curiously.

At this, Johnny now was thinking deeply about it too. That was something he hasn't thought about.

"Well.... technically you should just to get in more touch with the rest of the team and for the trainings.... but that's how you prefer.", he shrugs.

"If it makes easier for you then ok, I will. Just let me pack my things up and I'll be there in a few minutes.", she says, jumping off her bed and immediately looking up for all her affairs and clothes she needs to pack inside her bags to bring in.

"Easy there, lady. You might need a handy, don't you think?", Johnny suggests, getting off the bed too as she sees April sprinting all over the place.

"Don't worry, it's fine.", she says, climbing on her book shelves to try to take the books off.

But she slips from one of them with one of her feet, about to fall over. But she gets caught by Johnny who held her with his hands, up.

"A little handy is better. Trust me.", he says, shaking his head from the clumsy little being April was.

April giggles awkwardly, conceding. April gets helped packing up her affairs in her bags. All her books, all her clothes, all her graffiti tools and art pieces, all her accessories, all her pictures.... all. Except the furniture of the room of course. April takes on her school bag while Johnny transports the two others, the gentleman he likes to be exceptionally. As they both walk out of her dorm, she locks it with her keys.

"Goodbye for a while old friend.", April thought in her mind before they go.

As they were now in front of the row, observing it, April still has a hard time to believe she would ever be part of it. It was to great to be true. And of course reality decided otherwise. Pretty new and awesome, but also scary and unexpected.

"Do the others know about all of this?", April asks to Johnny, who's walking right next to her.

"Of course they do. And I made sure they would understand. Now you won't have to worry about them. They're ok with you. It will seem weird for you and them, but you'll get used to it.", he winks at her, "After all, it's not everyday that we have some female company in the row."

April blushes at the thought. Of course. This was a fraternity. She's so far the only girl in there. She's surrounded by males only. This will be feeling rather weirder. As they now stand in front of the door of the row, Johnny opens up the door and lets April enter inside first. Now inside the big house, April waits for Johnny to lead her the way, wherever her new room could be. Following behind him, the two monsters walk upstairs to the second floor. They march through a corridor until Johnny stops by one of the doors and opens it up, letting April once again first. The room is pretty empty except for the needing furnitures like a bed, a wardrobe, a mirror, a desk.... April deposits her school bag on the floor next to her new bed and looks around herself. The room is rather big and spacious with a lot of ROR decorations and posters. Pretty manly stylised, but it's ok. With her own affairs and decorations, it will seem more neutral. Johnny comes by with the remaining bags and deposits them next to her school bag.

"Here we go. Make yourself at home.", he says, "Wait here, I'll go get something."

Johnny then walks out of the room, leaving April alone to start unpacking her affairs and install them all around the room. April starts with her books, which she puts on the shelves. Then her clothes inside her wardrobe. Then the pictures, souvenir objects and other little things she brought from home. Her graffiti tools all on the desk and inside the drawers. Everything is getting installed. A little while latter, Johnny comes back with something in his hands. April looks at it. It's a jacket. A jacket with the Logo of the fraternity on the back. April looks at it, amazed, before taking it in her hands.

"Here. I thought you might want to have one too now that you're part of the team. It's the smallest I've found. I don't. know if it fits your height.", Johnny tells her.

"Thanks. It's really nice.", April says, trying it on, "Hey it doesn't look bad."

Johnny chuckles.

"I'm glad it doesn't. You look like a true Roar Omega Roar now.", he says, "Want to meet the rest of the team now?"

April nods, following him right behind. They both are walking towards the living room. After this long day, the team is surely taking rest there. As they enter in, the other boys are on the couches
