We walked down to the Quidditch pitch, Cedric, Justin, and Hannah wearing their Hufflepuff Quidditch uniforms, and Harry, and I wearing ours. We got permission from Alicia and Katie to borrow their uniforms for Hermione and Ron to wear. Surprisingly Katies fit Hermione perfectly! Ron on the other hand, his was a tiny bit too small. He could still breathe and move in it though, so we thought it was fine. Harry and Cedric were playing seeker, while I was playing chaser with Hannah, and Ron and Justin were playing keeper. (We were playing with no beaters). Hermione was going to play Chaser after she watched Hannah and me play the first round. The first round surprisingly went well. I scored 50 points while Hannah scored 30. Justin blocked four of my shots and Ron blocked four of Hannah's shots. Unfortunately for us, Cedric ended up catching the snitch before Harry, which made Hufflepuff win the little match. I went up and congratulated Cedric, Hannah Justin; Harry, and Ron congratulating them behind me. I walked over to Hermione, who I saw was intensely scribbling down notes on how to be a good chaser. She slammed her book shut, stood up, and snatched the broom out of my hand.

"I'm ready." She said confidently.

"Great! We'll give you a minute to warm up and then you're chaser with me." I was about to walk away when I realized she had my broom. "oh... I'm gonna need my broom, but there are more brooms in the locker room." I informed her. She gave me my broom back and went to get her broom from the locker room. Five minutes later, she walked back to us, with her broom in her hand.

"Alright, think I got this." She turned over to me. " and yes, I did warm up." She let out quickly. I nodded and we all flew out to the pitch.

"Steady, Hermione you got this!" Hannah cheered for her.

"Make sure that your body weight is balanced, and that you have two hands on the broom the whole entire time unless you're carrying the quaffle." Cedric helped her.

"And since you're just starting, hold the quaffle underneath your arm while you ride the broom," Justin yelled from the goalpost.

"Pro tip don't think too much about it." Harry tried to sound helpful.

"And score a lot of goals, please! Oh, and don't get hurt we cannot afford to take you to the hospital wing." Ron yelled. Hermione gave Ron a thumbs-up, while awkwardly smiling.

"Like I said, I'll try my best." She told me.

"That's all that really matters." I nudged her shoulder. I let the snitch out and then threw the quaffle up in the air.

"Let the match begin!" I hollered.

The game was going great, and so was Hermione. I had the quaffle in my hand and I was flying towards the goalpost until Hannah came over to me and nudged my broom a little bit, causing me to stumble. I threw the quaffle over to Hermione, which she caught. Hannah flew over to Hermione and she swerved around Hannah and threw it in the bottom goalpost. Luckily, Justin missed it, and that is how Hermione scored her first point of Quidditch. Harry, Ron, and I cheered for Hermione while she laughed in shock. Hannah, Justin, and Cedric all clapped. Justin flew to grab the quaffle and threw it up again. The game ended with Gryffindor winning. Harry caught the snitch, and Hannah scored 80 points, I scored 40 and Hermione scored 30. Ron blocked 5 of Hannah's throws and Justin blocked 2 of mine and 4 of Hermione's. We all walked over to the locker room and Justin, Ron, Harry, Hannah, and Hermione went to the showers.

"Cedric, Emily, you coming?" Justin asked.

"Yeah, we'll be there in a second," Cedric said. Hannah and Justin shared a smirk and they all walked in the showers. The boys going to their side and the girls to their side.

"Merlin, I really wish you were in Hufflepuff. You would make a great chaser for our team." He said, fixing my hair that was all over the place.

"You know, sometimes I wish I was in Hufflepuff, but other times, I'm glad I'm in Gryffindor." I chuckled. He sat down on one of the benches, and patted a place next to him, signifying for me to sit next to him. I leaned my broom against the wall and went over to sit next to him. I leaned my head on his shoulder and he kissed my head before leaning his head on mine. I fiddled with the ring that was on my finger. "Have you worked out that egg yet?" I asked him.

"A bit. I know it's in the black lake, I have to hold my breath for an hour, and they took something precious from the champions." He explained everything he knew.

"Something precious huh?" I asked. "What do you think that is?"

"No clue. But if it's you, I'll be throwing hands with the teachers. I can't lose you." He whispered against my head. My lips curved into a smile as I took my head off his shoulder. I looked up at him and he looked down at me. He brought his hand up to my face and he rubbed my cheek with his thumb.

"Oookayy love birds! Time to go shower and get back to the castle." Justin said, popped his head out behind the wall. Cedric and I chuckled as he took my hand and helped me up. He noticed the bracelet and ring on my hand.

"Wearing your bracelet and ring?" He asked me showing the ring on his finger. I smiled when I saw the ring on his finger. He brought his hand down and held my hand, squeezing it slightly.

"Always and forever," I replied winking. He kissed me softly.

"I love you my pretty girl." He whispered.

"I love you, my pretty boy," I whispered back. We heard Justin fake gag behind us and Cedric and I rolled our eyes and chuckled. We then went separate ways to the showers.
