Tae's POV

Why does he do that? How does he do that? Is it something that he usually does with everything?

Why do I feel the way I do when he's near me? Why do my balm sweat? Why can't I keep eye contact with him? And why do I keep it when we make eye contact?

Why do my eyes travel down to his lips? Why do I linger on his lips,that mole under his lips. That little scar on the top of his right cheek.  His eyes,those fucking eyes,phew stop Tae.

I told Hosoek about his proposal and he is way too happy for me ,for us . It's a great opportunity for our business to grow and thrive and we could open another salon or that restaurants that Hosoek always wanted.

I haven't told Minjae that I am having dinner with Jungkook tonight. Is it wrong? Should I share this information with him? The better question should be,what am I not telling him about it. We tell each other everything, he knows everything about me,down to my cycle.  I sometimes forget or miss count my days and he reminds me to be ready for it.

He stocks the fridge with all the sweet stuff,from ice-cream,to juice. Chocolate  and sweets.  He is honestly just the sweetest and the most considerate guy I know.He doesn't deserve to be kept in the dark about it. I should just call him and tell him about it.

Minjae works for an electrician, he works for his father's electrical company. Sometimes they work really late and sometimes they have normal hour. Most of the times we eat lunch together .

Today isn't any different, but unfortunately we couldn't join him because we are fully booked and very busy. Since Jungkook's pictures came out from the Charity event,mentioning us,we have been busy,and now I have other influencers who come to us,do their hair and tag us in their post.

Minjae:" See you later okay

Tae:" Uhm,I have to tell you something

Minjae:" Is it urgent?

Tae:" Yes,sort of

Minjae:" Tell me later,I will bring Buffalo wings and beer

Tae:" I won't be at home,I have a business meeting later,

Minjae:"( smiling ) Really? That's good news  baby,I am so happy for you. Let's celebrate this later,bye,I love you

I he rushed outside before I could tell him,and I also just didn't want to leave my client unattended or just yell out that I was meeting Jungkook for dinner. If things carry on like this ,maybe we should get another stylist and a nail tech as well.

I got another client, who seems to be a huge fan of his,who asked me to do his hair exactly like I did for Jungkook

Client:" I love that man,he is not only rich but he is so fucking gorgeous.  If he was ever gay,I would sell my soul to have a taste of him

Tae:" You must really love him.

Client:" I do,sometimes I wish I was Jenny just to have a piece of him. Does he really smell as awesome like everyone says?

Tae:" Uhmmm,I didn't really focus on him. I just wanted to do an awesome job

Client:" I heard he sent you all those flowers

Tae:" Not to me but to the salon,to thank us for helping him at the last minute. He was too kind

Client:" He's just so handsome and kind hearted

Tae:" There you go,we are done.

Client:" Oh wow,wow,thank you so much. I am going to keep showing up here until I run into him. Thank you,I love it ,I am going to tag you in all my pictures

Tae:" Thank you so much,I am glad to be of service

We continued on and on till the last customer. 

It's around 4 pm,we are sitting down taking a breather from the massive work we had. We did really good but it's tiring. It's time for us to take bookings to space out our clients and not kill our feet by standing on them the whole damn day.

Hosoek:" What's up?

Tae:" I don't think I should go to this dinner. What if Minjae gets the wrong idea about it?

Hosoek:" He seemed happy about this business meeting, besides why would he get the wrong idea? Jungkook has a gorgeous girlfriend

Tae:" Hmmm,you're right,it's just that like the last time,I sort of get the vibe from him that he might like me. He also called me beautiful

Hosoek:" You are beautiful, maybe he just misses the old college days,what's wrong with catching up? Maybe he misses genuine people

Tae:" What about the flowers? Who send s this many flowers to someone?

Hosoek:" Well,Jungkook does. What are you so afraid of

Tae:" Saying the wrong thing,hurting Minjae, when I say it. I don't want to be left alone with him. There is this aura,this thickness when we look at each other. I don't know what he's thinking about and he surely shouldn't know what I am thinking about. 

Hosoek:" Hear him out,check the deal,let's read it over together and we can decide together what to do

Tae:" Okay,let's clean up and go home,I have to look presentable.

We started to sterilize our scissors, the combs,the brushes.  Cleaned the mirrors,wiped down the blow dryers and packed them away,cleaned the straighteners,and the curlers. Disinfect all the chairs and put everything in order. We also cleaned the toilets and restocked the toilet paper, hand wash,and hand cream.

Tae:" It's evident that we need help. I am exhausted.

Hosoek :" So true,I am going to make a post on our IG and Facebook accounts

Tae:" Let's go home before I collapse on the floor

We switched the lights off,turned the open sign to closed sign and hailed a cab to take us back to our apartment.  While we were in the cab it dawned on me that I didn't tell Jungkook where I lived or he never told me what time he would be sending the car ro pick me up.

I hope he doesn't think we live in the salon,like there us some back room where we are staying at.

Tae:" Minjae is bringing Buffalo wings,so don't cook,take a shower and rest,or just rest up

Hosoek:" I really like him,he goes up and above for you. Have you done it?

Tae:" It,what?

Hosoek:" You know,it,it

Tae:" You're older than me just talk freely to me. I am 28 years old

Hosoek:" Sex,have you broken your rule?

Tae:" No,I haven't had sex with him just yet.I will as soon as I get some sort of commitment from him

Hosoek:" It's been over a year now,he has been consistent in the things that he does for you. What do you want? A ring? Or are you holding out for someone else? I know you like Jungkook, but he's not gay,and if it's Bogum that you're waiting for just forget about it,who knows where he went or what happened to him after they found drugs in his locker.  Those are the only three guys that I know,who are associated with you

Tae:" Stop mentioning Bogum,he didn't even have the guts to break up with me. Anyway,it is what it is. I am happy with Minjae,I want to be with Minjae

We arrived home and I went straight to my bed,I need to sleep for awhile.  I am so tired . I told Hobie to wake me up around 7. Since I don't know what time I am being picked up.Will Minjae be here when I wake up? Or will he come by when I get back from this meeting?

JK's POV

I have been super excited this whole day. I can't believe that I am about to a have a private dinner with the man of my dreams

Tonight will not go by with out me making my intentions clear. Tae should be with me. He should forget about his electrician boyfriend and focus on the upgrade which is me. Whatever that boy is doing for him,I can do it way better.

He didn't even know how to hold and to properly kiss him that day at the salon,he's just wasting time with him

I told Jenny that I was going to meet my male escort Jimin. I told her to make excuses for me to my parents, who are going back to Busan tomorrow morning.  I have a change of clothes at the office, also a bathroom and a bed,for when I am too tired to go back home,it's all hidden,only my PA,Jin and Namjoon know about it.

There us also a secret exit that only Jin and I use. Our employees don't know about it,it's our way of escaping from the paparazzi.  I also have a look alike,who keeps his head down and drives to my house under a disguise when I need him to

Everything is set at the Hotel,we will have the place all to ourselves.  I told the driver to go pick Taehyung up from his residence.  He will probably have alot of questions for me later,which I will answer honestly

I used the private exit and made my way to the hotel,arrived there,made my way to the private dining area just to make sure whether everything was as I instructed it to be

I sat down,patiently waiting for him to walk through that door,I want to see him so badly. I can hardly contain myself.  I have the contract with me,I hope they don't read it at all like most people. He hope he just signs it and I get to keep him around me at all times

20 minutes later, my driver let's me know that he has just dropped Tae off and that he will be ushered up to the private area by my body guard.  I straightened myself ,and stand up to welcome him in

The door opened and my body guard announced him and he smiles at him and thanks him,he closed the door and I walked up to a very well dressed Tae,who looked so freaking beautiful  and shy at the same time.

Jk:" You look breathtakingly beautiful

Tae:" Thank you,you look as good as you always do. Wow,this place is amazing, it's so beautiful. 

Jk:" I am glad you like it. I chose it specifically just for you.

Tae:" Oh

I pulled the chair for him and he sat down. How does he do it? How can a man look so beautiful?

He is looking around at the set up taking it in,looking out at the night sky,and the buildings.  Then he looked at the table and back at me.

Tae:" What is all this Jungkook?

Jk:" Dinner

Tae:" Why here? Why not with the rest downstairs?

Jk:" I wanted privacy

Tae:" It's not a good look for me. This might be your normal way of doing things but its not for me

Jk:" What do you think I am doing?

Tae:" It feels like one of those dates that men like you set up

Jk:" Men like me?

Tae:" Rich men,when they want to hide their partners from the media. But this isn't such a thing,so why are we up here,in this romantic setting?

Jk:" Will it be such a bad idea if it was a date?

He was about to answer when the waiter came with the wines I ordered, one white and the red on to have Tae choose what he preferred to drink. I was so taken by the way his puppy eyes were looking at the water as he explained to him how to drink it,what to pair it with and he sipped on both,and settled on the white wine. He pours him a glass,and I keep to my Irish whiskey . We also placed our orders

Jk:" Is it good?

Tae:" Mmm,so good. I think my tastes buds are awake and dancing.

Jk:" Are you still singing?

Tae:" Gosh no,maybe only when I am drunk at a karaoke bar.

Jk:"You get drunk

Tae:" Yes,I am human,I have bad days too and good days as well. Like this Saturday we are going out to a club,to enjoy the week that was hectic

Jk:" Where?

Tae:" I don't know just yet. When's the last you went to a club? You probably don't get the time .

Jk:" You didn't answer my question earlier

Tae:" Yes,it's a bad idea.

Jk:" Why?

Tae:" Don't do that,you know why.  I have a boyfriend, if he gets a wing of this he might think I am having an affair with you . You don't have to worry because you are dating one of the most beautiful woman.

Jk:" Taehyung, can I talk to you honestly?

Tae:" If you're going to be honest tell me what you wanted to say that day,

Jk:" Will you walk away if I tell you the truth?

Tae:" I am hungry,I want to eat.

Jk:" (smile) You didn't change at all,you still make my heart skip a beat

I can't believe that I just blurred that out,and now he has a shocked expression on his face looking at me,thank God for the food that they brought

Waiter:" Please enjoy your meal

Tae:" Thank you ,it looks delicious.

He leaves us alone and Tae acts oblivious to what I just said and started to eat,I made sure to order after him just so that I could order a different dish,and have a taste from his

Tae:" Ahhh,this is sooo good. Why would you order chicken at a place like this? Are you insane. Look at my aged rib eye steak,fuck it's so good mmmm

I had to put my leg on top of the other one to calm the monster from waking up,why is he moaning like that

Tae:" Want some? Let's do half and half

I smiled at his cuteness,and started to separate my chicken, fettuccine Alfredo

Tae:" Don't go overboard, just eat the parts I am pushing to the side,okay. Now let's swap plates

I do as he asked and he dives in and tasted mine,I was waiting for some bad review but no,he is thoroughly enjoying it.He is clapping his long fingers and doing a little dance,

Tae:" Mmmmmm so good. I am sorry ,I know table manners, it's just the food is exceptional.  No wonder it's a five star hotel.

I filled his glass half way and he drinks. I do eat as well,our meat is the best,it has to be top quality or nothing at all. Tae totally ignored what I said and we talked about other stuff,college days,Just reminiscing and having a good laugh

After our meal,the table got cleared up and I asked Tae whether he wanted dessert and he shook his eat no.

Tae:" I am not really into sweet stuff,unless it's that time of the month.

Jk:" Noted.

Tae:" Dinner was delicious, thank you

Jk:" You're welcome,would you like to do this again soon?

Tae:" No ,I shouldn't be here with you, I,I didn't tell Minjae who I was meeting

Jk:" Why does it matter?

Tae:" Trust,loyalty, honesty. Bases of a relationship

Jk:" How serious is this relationship of yours?

Tae:" Waah,how serious is your relationship with your girlfriend?

Jk:" She's just a really good friend of mine.

Tae:"Awesome,I have to go. It's getting late,where is the contract?

Jk:"  That night at the after party,I was going to make a confession to you.

Tae:" What?

Jk:" That I really liked you. Why do you you think I was always around you.

He gets up and takes the contract,walking towards the door,I get up and stop him by going infront of him,blocking his way

Tae:" Stop

Jk:" What? I was going to ask you out . I ,for a very long time have been looking for you to fix my regret from that night. I like you Kim Taehyung, Every lingering gaze,every joke full hug, every I missed yous,every failing on purpose that i did to have you tutor me. Sharing a drink from the same bottle for that indirect kiss. Tae -

Tae:" That will mean that you are gay,or bi,you dated girls,you are dating a girl right now

Jk:" I am gay,I am not Bi, I had to do that to protect my image,my parents are against anything gay. Jenny is just a cover girlfriend on a payroll.  I am single

Tae:" Whoah, this is a lot to unpack. You are gay? So I was right,I was always so scared to invade your privacy and ask you about it

Jk:"I always wanted to tell you. I like you,a lot.

Tae:" It's been years after college, if you really wanted to tell me about your feelings you could've, I was single all this time, till just a year ago.

Jk:" I couldn't find you,on any social media platforms, it's like you just disappeared

He walks around me,reaching for the door and I stopped him by pushing the door with one hand while the other is on his curved waist,my head against his ear

Jk:" Hear me out ,please

He feels so good in my arms,he smells devine,his breathing is heavy

Tae:" I have a boyfriend now Jungkook

Jk:" I ask you again,is it serious?

He turns around to face me and our eyes locked.  I am not wrong,Tae feels the same way that I do.

Tae:" Yes?

Jk:" That's a question Taehyung, I need an answer. 

He bites his lips and looks at my eyes,down to my lips,driving me insane.  Wanting to kiss him. I caressed his chin with my thumb

Tae:" I am not a cheater,yes we are serious, we have plans. I have to go

Jk:" I will drop you off

Tae:" I am sorry,you can't just sprint all  that on me and expect me to jump into your arms. You could be playing me for all I know.  I am no home wrecker either

Jk:" I get that,I have to work more,and I will. I am not letting you go again

Tae:" Jungkook, this is a dangerous territory. Don't cross the line

Jk:" You have no idea,what I am willing to do ,to make you see my true intentions.

I called the waiter over and told him to bag 6 bottles of the wine that Tae enjoyed. We waited for him to come back,while just looking at each other.  When he arrived I took the gift bag and held Tae's hand,walking out the secret back way,with him freaking out.

Tae:  Jungkook, they are going to take a picture of us together and you're going to be in so much trouble and controversy, please,just let go.

Jk:" You're worried for me and not your relationship?

We got in his car,no one seemed to care,he drove to my apartment without asking for directions

Jk:" I have all your information, I made sure . There is no way I am losing you again

We drove for awhile and made it to their apartment.  His phone rings and he looks at me before answering it,saying he was outside, and that boy comes out,walking to my car to open the door for Tae.

Tae:" Hey

Minjae:" You look beautiful, how was the business meeting?

I got out and took out the wine gift bag and the flowers

Minjae:" You had a meeting with Jungkook?

Tae:" Uhm yes,

Minjae:" I will take that

Jk:" I prefer to carry it

Tae turns to me and gives me a back off look,it's cute and it makes me smile

Tae:" We got it,thank you. I will look over the contract with my brother and get back to you

Jk:" I will be waiting, oh Tae quick question

Minjae takes the things and walks back in the house

Jk:" Am I insane or do you feel the same way?

Tae:" Good night Joen Jungkook
