Reader POV

As soon as you got changed, you went to greet Nozel at the door.

"What."

He stared at you. "Why is your hair wet?"

You narrowed your eyes at him. "What do you want?"

Seeing he had to go straight to the point, he sighed. "Come home."

You shook your head. "Why should I? Also, as you made it clear, it's not my home."

The silver-haired male just stared you deep in your eyes. "(y/n). I need you home. Please."

"No."

His frown turned to annoyance. "Seriously? It's raining outside and I don't-"

"Goodbye." You started closing the door but he stopped it with his foot and entered Leon's home.

"You won't get rid of me that easily, (y/n)," he leaned in close. "If you don't come home now, I will-"

You pushed him away. "What will you do? Last time I checked, you don't own me."

"That's not the fucking point!" He growled. "I'm trying to be nice, but-"

"You are failing miserably,"

Nozel took a deep breath to calm himself down, or tried to. "(y/n). I won't repeat it. You will come home right now."

"No."

Nozel lashed out and grabbed your wrist, squeezing it painfully. "Fine, I'll force you home."

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," Leon came downstairs. "Rival."

Nozel's eyes narrowed. "Why is his hair also wet and why is he only wearing a robe like you?"

You glared at Nozel. "It's none of your business."

Leon stormed over, his magic flaring, causing his hair and yours to dry really fast. "Get out of my house, Nozel. We did not invite you inside."

"I was just coming to fetch my servant."

"That's a shame," Leon pushed Nozel away from you. "It truly is a shame that you only see her as property. She is so much more. You're just too narrow-minded to see that."

Your face flushed at his words. "Leon..."

"Now get out." Leon glared at his cousin.

Nozel pointed a fine finger at you. "Fine. But know this, (y/n). I'm never going to let you be happy."

Your lip trembled as he picked you up by the collar and gave you one last glare before throwing you into Leon.

"Nozel..."

The door slammed behind him.

...

"Good morning, (y/n)!" Nebra smiled. "Hello, Fuegeleon! What brings you two to our home?"

Solid looked up from his breakfast. "Aniki won't like this,"

Nebra waved it off. "What Nozel doesn't know won't harm him."

"He told you?"

Nebra and Solid nodded, sad faces on them. "Hey, you know, we love you."

You went over to them and hugged the two. "Thank you," You looked around. "Where is he anyway?"

"Who knows, who cares," Solid frowned. "He wouldn't listen to us when we said not to bother you. You know how he is,"

"Yeah..." You stared at the two. You've known them for a long time, they were like your siblings. "I'm going to get my stuff,"

As soon as you were done (you didn't have much to begin with), you heard the front door open.

"Nozel!" Nebra said especially loud so that way you would know who it is. "What are you doing home so soon?"

Nozel POV

I frowned at my sister. "I forgot to get something from my room this morning."

"No, don't go upstairs!" She tried to stop me but I ignored her.

I suddenly turned to the door across from mine and opened it.

"(y/n)-"

I walked into the room. "Where is all her stuff?" Fear coursed through me. "Oh no..." I opened up drawers and closets. Nothing. "FUCK!"

Nebra behind me had an equally shocked face. "Oh my god..."

I sat on (y/n)'s bed and as usual, it was neatly made. I buried my face in my hands. "Fuck...I messed up, Nebra."

She cautiously sat beside me. "Well, in her defense, you said this wasn't her home."

"Nebra, I have to get her back! I didn't mean anything I said,"

"Does (y/n) know that?" Solid followed us in and leaned on the doorframe. "I think you should let her go."

My head shot up. "That's the issue. I can't."

"Why not-"

"I fucking love her, okay?"

Reader POV

We had ran outside to the balcony in my room.

Fuegeleon and I held a crate with my stuff.

"Nozel...he loves me?" I felt my heart lurch.

"Aniki, are you sure?" Solid was asking.

"I've never been more sure! When I saw that both of their hair was wet and they clearly weren't wearing any clothes underneath their bathroom robes, I..."

Nebra appeared to be patting her brother's shoulders. "Aw, Nozel. You know, you never treated her like you actually like her,"

"She's right," Solid nodded. "Aniki, you have to apologize. Otherwise, she's going to fall for Fuegeleon."

"I think she already has," Nozel said softly. "I should give up on her."

"NO!" Solid and Nebra both shouted at their brother. "Holy shit, Aniki! If we had known you loved her- well, we knew but we were waiting for you to admit it- we would have helped!"

Nozel stood up. "You're right. I shouldn't give up. But does (y/n) really want to see me after last night?"

"If she didn't care about you, she wouldn't have spent her entire savings on that necklace,"

The three of them left the bedroom and soon, you and Leon followed after.

"I'm surprised he didn't check the balcony," Leon sighed. "But (y/n)..."

You turned to Leon, looking devastated. "Leon-"

He gave you a sad smile. "(y/n), you don't belong at my house. You belong here with Nozel,"

"But-"

Leon just put your box down and you put yours down so he could hug you.

"We were never meant to be together in that way," he whispered in your ear. "Deep down, we both know that."

"Leon..."

"Go to him," he smiled sadly.

Your lip trembled and you hugged the hell out of your best friend. "Maybe not in this life, but the next. I love you, Leon."

He gave you one last longing stare and let you go. "Go to him."

You slammed the door open. "Nozel!"

Nozel was in the hallway with his siblings. "(y/n)! You were on the balcony out of view, weren't you?"

You ignored his question. "You idiot, I love you too!" You ran to him and hugged him tightly.

"I'm...I'm so sorry," Nozel held you close. "I wish I never said those things or did those things I did,"

You shushed him. "I know you never truly meant what you said. I'm sorry too, I didn't notice you needed me."

"I know this is so cliche, but can we start over?"

You had no idea what the hell you were saying. "But Nozel, promise me you won't do this ever again."

Nozel nodded and stared deeply into your eyes. "I promise." He closed the gap between you two.

Meanwhile, the captain of the Crimson Lions watched with Nebra and Solid with bittersweet eyes. He knew that he wasn't the one for you, but his heart ached as he watched you two kiss.

A lone tear went down his cheek but he quickly wiped it. "It's for the best."
