Three days passed after that event, and nothing suspicious seemed to arise.

Freddy often met up with you, he would spend time and accompany you while you still have no idea of where the next part is. You lost track of how many you got, three? Four? You don't really remember.

The workloads passed onto you became quite heavy, the news of the newly recruits will come soon enough when the contracts are signed. Freddy often helps you in your tasks, may it be a routine check-up or maintenance work, Freddy is there to aid. Given his authority and knowledge in mechanical maintenance, half your workload was often in the hands of Freddy. You would've felt guilty, since it's basically your job and not his, but it is entirely impossible to convince the stubborn animatronic.

His presence somehow makes you smile, you feel warm inside whenever he's nearby. He's different from the Freddy you met in the first place, he was more welcoming to you. Honestly, you are well aware that out of all the staffs in this facility, you're the only exception that Freddy considers, causing him to be much comfortable when near you.

Honestly, it gave you this warm feeling that scorched your heart alongside a million of butterflies touching every inch deep inside of you, the feeling of shuddering whenever you hear his robotic yet smooth voice. Sometimes, you found yourself entering the Pizzaplex even if you're not on duty, just so you could see and listen to Freddy's voice.

Love? Is that what they call it? you wouldn't know, you love your little brother, you also love your parents. But this feeling is different, it is much more complicated than the love for friends and family. What do you know? You've been studying and working for as long as you can remember that love never once crossed your mind. The romantic feeling that lightens the aura with hearts, you could only witness it on others, or in front of the television when watching some romantic soap opera on channels.

You never been in a relationship before. Sure, numerous males have asked you out since high school, but not a single one of them did you give a chance. That was because you found no interest in them at all, but Freddy? You found yourself always at awe. The cheers of the crowd often silenced when your eyes met his, and only his voice can you hear amidst the mixture of cheers, squeals and chattering.

Tonight, is one of the numerous nights where you and Freddy spend the time with each other. All of your tasks are finished, and the rest of the animatronics agreed to help in scouting the area. The free time in your hands was unformidable, it became more of a hobby than a job. Being in the Pizzaplex only brought more joy than you could ever experience. But what pity it is when you can't place your full trust upon Freddy. As much as you would always love to be by his side, to enjoy his welcoming company, there is still a voice at the very back of your head, numerously reminding you of such things that you needed to keep in mind of.

Yes, you still don't know if trusting Freddy would be the best decision. Ever since you began following the voice in your head, no more child disappearances occurred. However, the previous cases were still left unsolved, children were still not found. But it is better than the instances of new cases being opened, better than more kids disappearing.

Could this really have something to do with that old, raspy voice in your head? Could it really be as Vanessa told you?

Whether or not Freddy has something to do with this, you don't know. Should he ever take part in this scenario, you could only hope that he is forced against his will. You couldn't find the heart to think so cruelly of the bear animatronic.

Oh, what bitterness it was for you to hold yourself back from trusting too much.

But then again... it would really be nice if Freddy was innocent until the end, that Vanessa somehow misunderstood him. Oftentimes, you found yourself hugging the Glamrock Freddy plushie which you found in his greenroom whenever he is out doing some of your tasks.

'I wonder how it feels to hug him...' you thought to yourself, thinking if the animatronic bear with the metallic exterior to be actually cold to the touch, uncomfortable to hug. But kids loved to climb over his structure, they loved to wrap their tiny arms around his metallic casing. Could he be warm to the touch? Was it some kind of heater of a mechanism which you didn't know about? Who knows? You found yourself curious now, how it feels to hug the bear.

Nonetheless, here you sat at one of the couches in the upper floors of the Main Atrium, where Freddy sat beside you, looking up at the glass dome of a roof, gazing over at the starts that twinkled like scattered diamonds in the sea of darkness.

You smiled, casually leaning your head against his metallic arm. It was kind of warm, but cold at the same time, yet it seemed to be a good place to rest your head upon his casing despite the temperature. He didn't seem to mind anyways. Even though you slept for almost the whole duration of daylight, you feel too much at ease that his presence laid your body to rest, the rare instance of stupor invading your senses. You were not a heavy sleeper, but in the rare instances such as this, you'll eventually find yourself in deep sleep. Could it be due to the fact that you felt at peace whenever you're near him? Are you giving him too much of your trust? Then again, you couldn't ignore the truth that you find an immense sense of security when near the animatronic.

"Something on your mind?" he inquired, once again slightly strumming the guitar in his hands. He often picks up the instrument and plays a soothing tune in whenever chance he gets. He seems to enjoy it, just as much as you enjoy listening to the sound as well.

You pursed your lips slightly. "Nothing, why?" you inquired back, your head still leaning on his arm. If only he was fluffy, he could make a great couch instead.

The animatronic hummed for a second. "You know, I never mentioned fully of what happened to Gregory in the past. Come to think of it, I still remember the events like it had happened just a while ago." He began speaking, the name which brought him so many memories slipped out of his voice box.

The only difference is that he did it voluntarily, no longer a mistake of a mention like others do. He needs you to trust him enough that you'll tell him your secretive agendas as well. If ever he finds your needs urgent, he'll help you instead. But the main thing is, he wants you to give him the trust he yearns for, the trust that will enable him to further understand you without thinking of the event as something different. Without thinking that you are doing things behind his back. He wants to end his suspicions with you, and by telling you things that he long kept to himself, hopefully, you'll tell yours as well.

The aftermath of the event is something that Freddy kept to himself, not even the other animatronics found out of what happened, not even those who had access to his memory chip is aware of what he knew.

Now, here he is, telling you one thing that he refused to reveal to anyone else but himself.

Could he really risk his trust too much onto you?

"The kid in the past, right?" you intervened, remembering how he mentioned Gregory's story in the past. Of course, his side of the story, the side of the story where you are unsure whether to believe or not. Vanessa had newspapers as evidence, as well as the fact that she was the attending night guard during that course of time. But Freddy? He's a robot, a sentient one at that. You're not even sure if his consciousness is equating to those of humans.

"Yes, Gregory. Not many are aware of what happened that night, as the animatronics were reset during heavy repairs. Although, I remember, still. Perhaps I was able to retain the memories for I did not suffer such damage. Gregory on the other hand, chose to leave the Pizzaplex when the doors opened. I had not seen him since, but he was a good child." He began, sighing as he gazed up at the stars above. "He often mentioned of how everyone wanted to harm him, while I did not. I enjoyed his company, but it only lasted until the sun rises. To where he is now, I'm not certain, though I do hope that Gregory never decides to return to this place as he left." He continued.

Of course, the parting of such a nice child from his care somehow made him long to see him once again. He did not dare mention Gregory to any of the staffs, only to the animatronics, for they regained most of their memories in due time. They didn't know what they're doing, they said. Maybe, because they are acting on protocol? He doesn't know. But one thing is for sure, he is absolutely certain that the presence of Vanny has finally disappeared from the Pizzaplex.

You were left silent, of course, any sane kid would leave immediately when they find the chance to escape danger. But... then again, there is another story which you long heard.

But why...? How come his voice sounded so sincere and genuine? It's making you hesitate whether or not to believe the story of Freddy instead of Vanessa's. Just, what did Freddy do to you to make you trust him so much? You just don't understand.

"Freddy...?" you called out to him, hesitating still whether or not to mention the words of Vanessa, as well as your underlying errands of finding Bonnie's parts.

"Yes?" he replied almost immediately, as if he was waiting for your response for so long already.

You pursed your lips, feeling your chapped lips from the cold weather as you contemplated on what else to say. "What happened to Bonnie?" that was what left your lips. You are still uncertain if ever you should bring the subject about Vanny, Glitchtrap and the missing children's incidents. But all that left your lips is the query of what happened to the purple animatronic. Vanessa mentioned before that Bonnie was decommissioned due to Monty's erratic temper and roughness, but what does Freddy know?

Back in the days, before you even applied to be a night guard. You remember seeing the purple Bunny play his guitar at his bowling area. You remembered hearing about how Freddy and Bonnie were like the best of friends, but one day, he was replaced by Monty without any reasons disclosed. Many were searching for Bonnie's appearance, but it seems that the management saw Monty as a better entertainer that boosts the company's ratings more than Bonnie.

But still, you never really found it plausible for them to remove Bonnie out of the picture that easily, unless another underlying reason is behind the event.

Of course, kids and regular customers would think nothing of it. But die-hard fans such as yourself would always think that there's a deeper reason behind it.

"Bonnie...?" he mumbled in question before sighing once again, as if your response was not what he is expecting. "The event of Bonnie is still unclear to me, none of the employees bothered to answer my queries. Of course, I don't believe that Monty harmed him, even in his angriest of days, he would never dare harm someone. Sure, he destroys things but not other robots." He answered nonetheless, finding it pointless to not tell you. So, here it is, his opinion left him pondering on what happened in the past as well.

No one really knew what actually happened to Bonnie, Monty assures that he really didn't do anything. An animatronic entering his attraction doesn't mean that he did it, since it's not all the time that he hangs out in the area. However, that is the exact same news given by the human staffs, or anyone in the management. As much as Freddy wanted to, he can't demand an answer, knowing that the staff will only give him false reasoning. He wouldn't dare infiltrate the systems to check for records as well, his program does not allow it.

"I honestly don't know what happened to him, the statements made by the human staffs are not credible, nor are they plausible enough to convince us." Freddy replied once again after the moment of silence. He didn't know what else to say after, he was expecting for you to at least mention something that will lead to what you're actually up to, but not a word similar to that was released by you. It's sort of disappointed him that he stopped playing his melodious series of strumming.

"I see, he was a really nice character, though." You replied, mainly because you as well have no idea on how to respond. Touchy subjects such as this is rarely mentioned between the two of you, leaving you to ponder over your thoughts on why he even brought up the mention of Gregory.

While in the middle of your thoughts, images began flashing once again in your mind. An image of what seems to be the backstage, the rehearsal's backstage to be precise, just a few walks away from the area of Roxy's Raceway. There seemed to be a storage area in backstage, the door once again seemed to be locked. Another image came showing a box at the prop room, it looked to be a treasure chest looking box, inside should be a key. However, the storage where the animatronic part seemed to be locked away through cyclone gates which kept shut with iron chains.

You could've thought more thoroughly in what you were seeing in your head, yet a bulky hand waved in front of your eyes, snapping you out of your thoughts.

"Officer (Y/n)? Are you alright? You seemed to be in a trance." He spoke in concern, setting his guitar aside and focusing on assessing if you were alright.

You only gave him a smile after you cleared your thoughts. "I'm fine, don't worry. Just a lot in my head these days." You reasoned, it was partially true in all honesty, you were thinking about numerous things that you could barely keep in mind on what to prioritize.

He nodded briefly. "I am here if you want to talk, I mean not to pry into your personal thoughts, yet keeping them to yourself might only do no good." He suggested, hoping that you'd at least reconsider what he really means in his words. However, his intentions were left unnoticed by you as you shook your head.

"I'll be fine, don't worry, Freddy." You urged and stood from where you were seated, stretching briefly to get rid of the soreness of sitting for too long. "I'm leaving early tonight; I have someone to meet." You spoke once again. You already mentioned this matter to Freddy a few hours ago, though as the time passed reaching to 4:00 A.M., you figured it's time to get ready to leave in a few minutes.

You agreed to meet up with Rose after you got off work, mainly because she wanted you to relax for the remainder of the day. Also, because she got herself some sweets and pastries that she wants to share with you. Not that you minded, talking to someone whom you long knew should help you in deciding what to do with your thoughts.

You're not sure, but maybe tomorrow, you'll find some leads which can lead you to see where the next part is hidden. Hopefully, it's not as eventful as when you visited the arcade. Mhm, it's going to take quite a while before you decide to even return there, the adrenalin from that night still shook your heart to burst out of your chest.

Freddy gave a slight frown, his ears gently lowered while his eyes half lidded in slight disappointment. "I understand. You can go and get ready to leave, it would be rude to keep a friend waiting." He instigated before he himself stood up as well, finding no more reason to remain in the area.

He watched in silence as you smiled, gave him a nod and rushed out to leave and prepare to end the night shift. Though, as much as he wanted to approach and tell you to stay, it's not something that he would proudly do. After all, who was he to ask you to remain?

Of course, he could come up with reasons but he finds no reason to, unless necessary and justifiable.

No matter how long it will be, he will find out sooner or later. Even if it will take days to find out your true agendas, he will wait for it.

As long as you don't do anything you shouldn't, he will gladly be generous.
