After school that day, Dino and Jeno headed straight to Dino's parents' dance studio. It had become their little routine, sneaking into the studio when no one else was there, dancing away the stress of the day.

The space was dimly lit, sunlight filtering in through the wide windows as they moved together, the music filling the empty studio with an easy rhythm.

The boys spun and twirled, their bodies in sync as they matched each other's steps perfectly, laughing and teasing between moves. They danced like this for what felt like hours, lost in the flow until they finally collapsed onto the wooden floor for a break, sweat glistening on their skin.

Jeno wiped his forehead with the back of his hand, catching his breath. He glanced at Dino, who was laying sprawled out beside him, staring at the ceiling. The room was quiet now, save for their breathing, and Jeno could feel the nervous energy building up inside him. It was like something had been bubbling under the surface all day, and now, sitting there, he felt bold.

"I'm gonna do it," Jeno suddenly declared, sitting up straight.

Dino blinked, turning his head to look at him. "Do what?"

Jeno grabbed his phone from his bag, staring at the screen. "I'm gonna follow Jaemin on Instagram."

Dino let out an exaggerated, dramatic sigh, rolling his eyes as he sat up too. "Seriously? That's what you're talking about?" He gave Jeno a half-smile, shaking his head. "Here I thought you were actually going to, I don't know, ask him out or something."

Jeno's face flushed at the thought, but he shook his head quickly. "Baby steps, Dino. I'm not about to jump into asking him out. This is... this is something. It's progress, okay?"

Dino smirked, clearly amused. "Fine, fine. I guess following him is a step forward." He leaned back on his hands, watching Jeno with curiosity. "So, are you gonna do it or just sit there staring at your phone all day?"

Jeno stared at the "follow" button on Jaemin's Instagram profile. His finger hovered over it, hesitating for a second. But before he could chicken out, he tapped it—his thumb hitting the screen in a bold move. He barely registered the confirmation before he felt a wave of panic surge through him.

"Oh my god, I did it," Jeno muttered, his eyes wide. He suddenly threw his phone onto the floor, like it was a hot potato, and scrambled away from it as if the very act of following Jaemin had unleashed some sort of doom.

Dino burst out laughing, clutching his stomach as he leaned forward. "Jeno! You almost threw your phone across the room!" His voice was full of teasing. "It's gonna be hard to know what happens next if you break it, you know."

Jeno buried his face in his hands, feeling his heart race. "I can't believe I just did that," he groaned from behind his hands, peeking through his fingers to look at his phone, which was now face down on the floor. "What if he doesn't follow me back? What if I made it weird?"

Dino just grinned, standing up and retrieving Jeno's phone from where it had landed. He handed it back, shaking his head. "Relax, you're fine. It's just Instagram."

Jeno took the phone, his nerves still firing on all cylinders, but before he could overthink any more, a sudden buzz came from the device. Both boys froze, eyes widening.

Jeno's heart skipped a beat as he glanced down at the screen. The notification banner flashed on his lock screen, and Dino leaned over his shoulder to see.

"It's... from Instagram," Jeno muttered, his voice barely a whisper. He unlocked the phone with shaky hands, his thumb moving to the notifications. "Oh my god."

Dino's eyes scanned the screen, and then they both saw it.

**Jaemin has followed you back.**

"Holy crap," Jeno breathed out, his eyes going even wider. "He followed me back?"

Dino, who had been watching the entire thing with growing amusement, let out a triumphant laugh, clapping Jeno on the shoulder. "Well, would you look at that! Mr. Popular is interested!"

Jeno was still in shock, staring at the screen like it might suddenly disappear or turn out to be a dream. "What do I do now? Do I message him? Do I wait? Oh god, what if he thinks I'm weird for following him in the first place?"

Dino, unable to contain his laughter, shook his head. "You've been psyching yourself out over this for weeks, and now the guy follows you back! Relax. He's clearly cool with it." He sat back, crossing his arms. "I think you should message him."

Jeno's face flushed a deep red again. "Message him? What am I supposed to say? 'Hey, thanks for the follow, by the way, I've had a crush on you forever?'"

Dino rolled his eyes but gave him a supportive smile. "No, idiot. Just be casual, like you would with anyone else. Maybe make a joke or something, keep it light."

Jeno still looked unsure, but after a moment, he sighed and nodded. "Okay. I'll think about it. I'll figure something out."

Dino smirked, nudging Jeno's shoulder playfully. "Just don't overthink it. If anyone can charm him, it's you."

Jeno let out a half-hearted laugh, feeling the nerves start to settle down a bit. The fact that Jaemin had actually followed him back was a huge boost, even if he had no idea what to do next. For now, he was just riding the high of that little victory.

"Well," Dino said, getting to his feet and offering a hand to Jeno, "let's get back to dancing before you spontaneously combust from all this excitement."

Jeno took Dino's hand, standing up and pocketing his phone. "I can't believe you're enjoying this so much."

Dino just grinned, a mischievous twinkle in his eye. "Oh, I'm loving every second of it."
