Chapter Fourteen- Hockey
Eliot Archibald has been up since seven in the morning. The school is having a field day for the seniors parents. Their plan was to go because they had nothing better else to do.

"Shit" He whispered.
He put his phone back and wrapped his arms around Claire again. He heard it. He heard everything.
Claire woke up to see that her arms are around Eliot Archibald waist. She looks up and saw him staring at the ceiling.
"How long have you been up?" She asked in her morning voice.
"For a while now. Vereena texted me but I told her you were still asleep. She's with the twins at her house" He explained.
She let go of him and sat up.
"What do you want for breakfast?" She asked him.
"I can order Jems?" He offered and she nodded with a yawn.
"Hey, are you going to spend the night again? For i can tell Kai and my mom" She said as she got up.
"No, actually. I texted Luke. So, i'm going to stay with him for the time being" He answered.
"Hey, Vereena just texted me: she said we can meet up at the party" Claire told him as they cleaned the table.
"I forgot, you said yes to the party" He smiled at her.
"Don't get too excited. I'm not going to get drunk or dance on a table. I'm the sober friend that helps the drunk one. The drunk one being Vereena or Scott" She tells him as they sat down on the couch.
"I'm just glad you agreed to going with me. Like I said I won't leave your side" He said.
"Oh that I believe. I'm still tired. Can you wake me up when they get here?" She asked him and laid down.
"Of course" He smiled at her and moved the pillow on his lap.
"Thanks" she said and placed her down on the pillow.
"Your favorite people are here!" Vereena burst in with the twins.
Causing Claire to wake up.
"Hey" she said as they sat down on the couch.
"You bitch, why didn't you go?" Spencer asked them. Claire and Eliot Archibald both looked at each other then back at the group.
"We can talk to you guys later" He told them.
They hear a knock on the door.
"I'll get it" Claire yawned and made her way to the door.
"Luke?" She said in surprise.
"Is Eliot here? Of course he's here" He said and walked in.
"Of course Luke, come in" She said and closed the door.
"What'd are you doing here?" Eliot Archibald asked as he saw Luke.
"I need to talk to you. Also, Luke Garcia. Pleasure to meet you all" He introduced himself.
"Vereena Greenway, pleasure"
"Scott Ashford"
"My brothers hockey game" She answered.
"I love hockey!" Eliot Archibald popped in.
"You do?" Claire and Luke both asked him.
"If Claire likes it then so do i" He smiled at her.
"Gross. Well, our guest room is down the hall from mine. You can get ready there" Claire told him.
"You don't know anything about Hockey" Luke told his best friend.
"Yes I do" He answered and Luke gave him a look.
"I don't know anything about Hockey. But Claire likes it. So I figured if she liked it I need to learn about it" Eliot Archibald told him.
"If she killed someone you would take the fall wouldn't you?" He asked him.
"No hesitation".
"You need to learn as much as hockey as you can before you leave" He told his best friend.
"I don't think she'll believe it. It's Claire" Eliot Archibald told him.
"Even better. Look she's probably going to be excited to tell you everything that's going on and when she cheers she'll expect you too" Luke told him.
"Tell me the basics about hockey". After the few minutes they had Luke was telling his best friend about the basics about hockey. What he needs to know. What would most likely happen.
"Come on guys!" They heard Claire.
The two boys rushed down and they see Claire in the team's jersey with baggy jeans and her -converse- shoes she always wears.
Eliot Archibald smiled at her.
"She looks beautiful" he thought as he started at her.
"Your hair is different" He told her.
"Oh yeah, I kinda wanted to try this out. I saw some pictures of my mom and so i wanted to try it out" She said with a tight lip smile.
"It looks nice" He smiled at her.
"His game is about to start we should get going" Vereena said.
"What car are we going in?" Luke asked the obvious.
"Derek Greenway. It's been a while" Claire said as she smiled at the boy.
"Valentine!" He said and embraced her with a hug.
Eliot Archibald clenched his jaw.
"How you been?" He smiled.
"Amazing as I can be. Oh! I know you're going to be proud of me. Wanna know why?" She asked.
"You're finally decided to let me teach you hockey" He said hoping he was right.
"No" she and she shook her head. "I made new friends".
"This is Eliot Archibald, and Luke" She introduced them.
"Derek Greenway" He introduced himself.
"Nice to meet you" They told him.
"Well, wish me luck" He smiled at them.
"Is the one with the prince hair your boyfriend?" He asked.
"No, gross" she shook her head.
"The way he looks at you. He should be" He smirked at her then rushed back to the rink.
She turned to him and he was talking with Luke.
"Hey, let's go find our seats" Claire said and they found a somewhat empty row having the perfect view of the whole rink.
"Watching Hockey gets my adrenaline running" she told the boys.
"Did you and Derek ever have a thing?" Luke asked.
"Dude!" Eliot Archibald said to his friend.
"God no. I literally see him as another brother. Drools too much in his sleep. Plus he's bi and has a boyfriend right now" She told them. Then she remembered what Derek told her.
"Hey look at me" She told him and he turned to her.
"I need you to stare at me".
"Why?" He chuckled.
"Just stare at me" She said annualizing his face.
"Now stare at me like I i'm not looking" She said and he gave a confused look.
"What is this about?" He asked.
"Nothing. Nothing" She shook her head.
