It was another day at school where Eddie was still ignoring me. I had been trying to give him space but I wanted to go over to him. He still continued to be emotionless and nobody could find out who "broke" Eddie. Robin seemed to notice how I wasn't talking much for the past couple of days and would always ask if I was ok. Of course, I'd lie and tell her that I was fine.

 I headed to my car after school ended. and noticed something out of the corner of my eye. I saw a group of 3 guys surrounding someone that had fallen to the ground. I was about to just ignore it but then I noticed who was on the ground. "Holy shit" I muttered. It was Eddie. I ran over there as the guys began kicking the hell out of Eddie. Jason noticed me coming over and smiled. 

 "So the famous Steve Harrington comes to save the freak's ass," Jason said with a laugh.  I stood in front of Eddie who was still on the ground holding his stomach. "Jason leave," I said to which Jason and his friends laughed at me. Jason was about to take a step closer when I punched his nose. He fumbled back holding his nose. 

 "Shit Harrington! I didn't know you could throw a punch like that" Jason said looking up with a river of blood cascading from his nose. Jason's two friends were about to start fighting me when Jason called them off as if they were dogs. "I'll leave you with that," Jason said referring to Eddie. The three of them walked off and I knelt in front of Eddie. 

 "Thanks, Harrington" he muttered as he struggled to get up. We looked at each other for a second. "I'm sorry," I said. Eddie nodded. "Look you don't accept my apology but I just want to tell you I have an answer. And if you just don't want to talk to me it's fine. I understand" I said as I began to walk off. Eddie grabbed my arm and pulled me back. We stared at each other for a second. "Look I know you're having a hard time and all that. I understand why you couldn't give me an answer and I don't expect you to" Eddie admitted. 

 "Eddie I really do like you and I like being around you and I don't want to not be around you. I... I miss you" I said. Eddie pulled me closer to him and we looked at each other for quite a while. Then his lips gently crashed into mine. Leaving just us standing in an empty parking lot. I pulled away and looked at him. "I want to be your boyfriend" I answered.
