She lied within the dark room that stood off in the further areas of the cave. It wasn't quite ideal, lying on the floor with the least minimum coverage of blankets under her. Her lantern began flaring out as she tried to hear the echoes of Obito returning from the stoney floors under her. She rolled in the given blankets she had, as she shivered for a moment before she heard the door to the room creak open.

"Here..I found these.." Obito placed down a bundle of blankets for the girl beside her makeshift futon, his face was covered with his mask, something she had noticed in the few hours she had been there would be a habit of his. "Get some rest for a few hours. We're going out to Amegakure for a few days to settle some things for you after midnight." Obito informed the girl, who nodded  before raising an eyebrow. Amegakure? She had never been there and wondered what exactly lied there for her.

"It's going to be beneficial to you." he seemed to notice the look on her face as he added his extra statement. "Hmm.." she hummed out quietly before going for the extra blankets her brother brought for her. Without another word, he left the room quietly. She could say, he wasn't much to hover but he seemed to struggle with forming notional bonds too. She couldn't put him at fault for such, he seemed so isolated and lost over the years, and understood and didn't take offense to his distancing and awkwardness with her. And without much thought after, she drifted off to sleep shortly after in the empty room.
...
It was a light sleep, one where she was able to wake herself up an hour prior to when they were supposed to leave. She stifled a yawn as she got up, the sounds of her body cracking from the stiff floor caused her to grimace in pain. She was hoping this would be something she could possibly get used to in the coming months to years. Yawning once again, she got up from the makeshift futon and began rolling it up against the wall. Sighing out, her blurred eyes tried adjusting to the lowly lit room.

Her mind lingered to figure out where exactly Obito was at. The large cave provided a struggle for that, as it's seemed to impossibly lead to any and everywhere in the near regions. Leaving the room, the low-lit torches provided a pathway for her as she gazed around the halls and the unanimous amounts of doors before her. The steps of her walking provided an echo as she could hear clear as day, this was just creepy to her.

Her eyes lingered on a door to her left, once again low-lit with blueish light. The door was half-cracked as she approached it, the sounds of some sort of whirling noise from inside enthralled her ears as she slowly opened the door. "Obitoโ€”" he wasn't there but she heard the noise of footsteps as she took a few steps away from the door and could slowly see her brother emerging from the shadows down the hallway. She jarred the door again, as he slightly looked over at her and the door from under his mask. "I was looking for you.." she stated to him, as he hummed out.

He took the emphasis of making sure the door was closed and locked. "What's..in there..?" she sleepily questioned to him, as she eyed over to the door again. He went quiet for a moment, "Random resources." he replied, "Delicate one's I suppose." he then said, as she nodded in confirmation to his reasoning. She couldn't say it sounded like bullshit but it was odd. "We can begin our journey early. Make sure you have your belongings." Obito reminded to her, as she nodded in response before walking towards  the room she exited out of. He eyed her as she walked down the hallways, then to the door.

There were certain things he didn't need her to know yet.

OUTSKIRTS OF AMEGAKURE
โ•ฐโ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ•ฏ

They had cut down travel time tremendously due to Obito's teleportation distances he gained. As they entered closer to the borders of Amegakure, the clouds seemed to get more grey but not a single droplet of rain plopped to the top of her forehead. "If..." Obito began, as he looked down at his younger sister before looking up again and seeing the borders in the distance. "If you ever need to refer to me by name, I need you to refer to me as Madara around Konan & Pain. Around anyone else, it's Tobi."

"Madara? As in Madara Uchiha? one of the founders of Konoha? What an interesting code name." She replied to her brother, almost trying to stifle a laugh. "And Tobi..? I suppose it's a play on words of your actual name..? Eh..should I be referred by something else then too?" She tried joking with the man, only to get a blunt "No." from him as she no longer laughed. "Just.., make sure you do that. Slip-ups won't end well around these people." he stated, as she wondered who exactly these people were. She nodded as she sighed out.

They entered the borders shortly after, and it gave off such a depressing atmosphere in the air. The Konoha history books specifically marked this area as a warring area during the Second Shinobi War and she could tell, it gave off such a vibe of brokeness, a nation that seemed to still be healing after a bundlement of time, specifically 30 years at that. There was a tower that caught her attention in the distance, it stood to be the tallest in the village also.

As they continued to walk, they neared the building closer. Until they finally reached the steel door of the tower and Obito rhythmically knocked twice. They stood there for a second, before rustling from the other side of the door could be heard. "Madara-san.." a man spoke at the door, as they opened it, bowing at the two as they entered in. "Konan and Pain are present?" Madara asked in clarification, as the man who opened the door nodded in confirmation. "The office."

Madara nodded in confirmation, as they walked towards the staircase, that stood within the middle of the clearing they walked into. [Name] followed him up the stairs, he stood quiet the whole time up the dark flight of stairs, as her mind wandered off to what exactly this was, where were they exactly? Who were they meeting exactly? She could hear the chatters in the distance as they arrived closer up the stairs to the possible designated room. Whistling could be heard as they reached the top, the whistling stopped as the two got in view to the floor. "Tobi..? Eh, I didn't know you were that type of guy, to bring a bitch to the main base..?!"

[Name] almost went toppling down the stairs as she ran into the backside of Obito, not realizing he had stopped walking upon the random insult that was given to the two, particular in [Name]'s direction, he reached back to grab at her left arm to prevent her from losing her balance. "Bitch?" [Name] rose an eyebrow as she tried to get into view of the individual who seemed to see her better than she could. Her brother hovered over her impeccably, as it stood quiet for a moment before a voice rang through the ears of the insulting individual and her ears. "Bitch? [Name]-chan are you hearing this..!? Who is Hidan calling a bitch when he's the only bitch in sight..!?" And it took all the power out of her to not laugh in front of them. "Youโ”!!"

"Uh oh, someones angry.." Tobi taunted at Hidan, who before could get in another insult was halted by the sounds of someone yelling from the bottom floors of the tower. "Hidan! What the FUCK are you doing..?! We have business to take care you fucking fool!" the voice roared, as Hidan huffed out in annoyance before stomping quickly towards the staircase, bumping passed the two and ensuring he made all eye contact with [Name]. A smirk appeared on the purple-eyed man's face, while [Name] looked at him with an icy glare, noticing the familiar attire he wore before she felt herself being dragged up the stairs again by her brother.

She rose an eyebrow, as she recognized it to be the Akatsuki robe. Her eyes widened as she realized the possibility of where they were at. It cant be... Obito wore the same black cloak, which gave off no obvious specification at first until the passing of the fouled mouth man before them. The two walked to the end of the hall, the place almost seemed bare nothing painted the walls, no frames of such or any vegetation. The floor stood of a black sleek marble pattern and the doors before them stood just as black. Obito opened the door before them, entering a room that held a black desk in the middle, and two patrons before them that face into the large window behind them.

They both wore that same black cloak, patterned with the red and white clouds she saw as a threat. She stood beside her brother, slightly looking at him with a glare as his grip loosened on her arm from the previous moment before. "Is this her?" The man with the orange ginger hair turn towards the two first, the first striking resemblance she noticed was of his purple filled eyes, as a woman with lavender hair followed afterwards. "Yes." Obito replied soon after, the tone of his voice had deepened now, "This is [Name] Hyuga-Uchiha of Konohagakure. A recently defected Kunochi." Obito informed to the two, as Konan nodded and looked the girl up and down. "I have heard of the incident, dear.." Konan said to the girl, as she referred to the massacre as an 'incident.'

"Madara has spoken of you to follow the dreams that we want in our organization, and your lack of respect within your own village...drove you to your means.." she continued, as [Name] beamingly stared at the older woman before you. "You have the necessary resources we need." Pain ended off, as they both sternly looked at the two Uchiha's before them. They must've viewed Madara as some sort of saint, and saw her as a newly incoming one. She tried her best not to raise her eyebrow as the man with the blaring purple eyes and piercings within his nose stood up before grabbing for a folded piece of clothing upon the desk and handing it to Konan to then hand off to [Name]. "You joining Akatsuki shall be in favor of our turns of the world. For a better world."

Her brother was not who she believed him to seem.

She eyed at Obito as he walked away and went back into the office of Pain & Konan's, leaving her within the floor under that was considered one of the living quarters within the tower. Things were confusing, and scary at that. What have you been up to in all of these years? There was so little she felt she knew about the man she had just reclaimed as her brother she believed she'd never know. The hall before her was quiet, and the room before her stood empty. "This is the same group that wants to kill Naruto?" She questioned, as her mind drew fuzzy as the huge amount of overthinking she found herself going through.

Nothing was making sense to her. The purpose, the means, and what exactly did Naruto have to do with this group? Why did they need him so much? What exactly of Gaara's & Naruto's tailed beast were so much of need to them, beside the destruction? Or was it just that? the destruction? Her thoughts came to an interruption upon hearing a knock at the door, a slight one that she had barely caught as her back faced the door. She rose an eyebrow as she believed it to be Obito at the door and without thought opened the door, "I have a questionโ”" and she paused, as the folded cloak in her hands dropped to the floor. "[Name] Hyuga-Uchiha...?"

"I thought you died last week..."

"Have you heard?" Kabuto had a knick for finding ways to get under Sasuke's skin, and precisely finding ways to anger him with news that always ended back to Konoha. "A massacre occurred within the Hyuga compound a few days ago, and our lovely [Name] has defected from Konoha..." Kabuto said, as Orochimaru stoo in front of the two, and the sight of his eyes, Sasuke caught it, the look. "Really now?" Orochimaru commented, as he eyed over to Sasuke, not a knick of shock or a sound came from him. "Hm...Sasuke, it seems you may have someone to keep you company soon hm? One that you know of well." Orochimaru taunted at him, to which the Uchiha eyed at him with a glare. "I doubt it." he declared, though the mention of her began to linger in his mind. A massacre?

And it seemed that fuel he felt years ago about her began starting up again. But he could do so little about it under the circumstances he put himself in at the moment, binded to Orochimaru. His fist slightly clutched as something began to boil within him. And she was all that he could think about, yet she was so far out of reach, out of his hands. He looked before to the man he came forth to years prior, soon he'd find a way to conspire out.
