She could feel a well of emotions wanting to come out of her at the mention of her father. Her parents were a part of her that she kept locked up sometimes, the mentions of them always made her feel some type of way. Hiashi lifted a hand up to Shikamaru, signaling for him to leave. Shikamaru caught on to it quickly, as he noticed the saddened expression on[Name]'s face, but also understood the boundaries that stood between him and the Hyuga clan. He nodded quietly as he took one last look at [Name] before leaving the room quietly, as the door clicked, [Name] looked upon the sound of a door, noticing the emptiness within the room. "Your...father sacrificed his life for mine..and I made a promise to equally protect you guys in return as he did for Hinata that day..."

"And..I've failed..I've failed you and Neji..." Hiashi emphasized as a saddened look pondered on his face. "Itachi, and your mother...entrusted you with me, and your grandfather stepped over me and I allowed it, even to my own children." He had remembered the day as it was yesterday, as she approached the Hyuga compound, and the confusion in her eyes, but the trust she began to build with Hiashi immediately, and just how quickly it was diminished at the same rate as it built. Silence began to shroud the room, as [Name] palms fidgeted with the thin material of the blanket that lied on top of her.

"I don't justify what you did [Name]." Hiashi then said to [Name], as [Name] responded with, "And I don't expect you to -" But as quickly as she began, she was stopped by Hiashi as he continued with something that unexpectedly caught her off guard. "But...I will not entirely go against you. I will..help you rebuild what you've lost [Name]."

bit of an ominous ending and kinda hard for me to write out which is why it took so long to update lol, because really?? what would hiashi do in this situation??. but what do you guys think this means? will hiashi just only be the second coming of his damned father whose blindsiding [name] or ACTUALLY help this poor girl out despite everything shes did...?
