Once I stepped out of the house, I entered the car as Aunt Cassie was about to start. Her cream gown fitted her perfectly which reminded me of my prom gown, I got a little upset as the memories flashed into my mind and she noticed it
"Delansy, are you alright?"
I brought myself back after that
"I'm ok, Thanks"
I replied with an assuring smile and she flashed a smile back then the silence continued. I tried to stop the awkward moment
"Where are we going?"
"Well first, we're going to pick tommy ......."
I'm guessing he's the younger one
"From primary school and Trent from high school since his car broke down on the way then later, we're going to Chester's for lunch"
The word 'lunch' made my stomach growl; I gave a shy smile as she glanced backwards
"I can see you hungry back there"
She amusingly teased me as she gave a silly grin then continued the trip
In less than an hour, Tommy and Trent sat beside me at the backseat as we were on our way to Chester's.
Tommy was talking about his day while Trent was engaged with his iPod, he had the cutest little set of hazel eyes and blonde messy hair with the most incredible facial expressions ever but his brother is the opposite.
His mysterious look with dark blue eyes and short straight hair stared at me for a few minutes before he faced forward and asked
"Mum when are you going to answer me?"
"Trent, it's really difficult to explain my answer now. Maybe, later"
He raised an eyebrow towards the rear view mirror to let her know what he thinks while Tommy kept smiling at me till he finally asked
"How long are you staying with us, Dela?"
I was happy but shocked that he knew my name because the last time I saw him was when he was a baby, she interrupted us before I could say a word.
"As long as she can tommy but she'd prefer it if you call her by her middle name 'lily "
I gave her a "seriously'' look before He asked
"Can I call you my sister?"
"Um......sure if you want to."
He quickly hugged me and I felt really good about it because I can't remember the last time somebody hugged me.
A few minutes later, we got to our destination but the car park was full, this must be a really popular place here
"The driveway is filled with cars, guys .I think we'll have our lunch inside"
Tommy smiled, Trent frowned and I continued staring at the line of cars in front of the driveway which lead to the take-out stand.
After a few more minutes on contemplating, we quickly managed to get a spot close to the eatery which was a little bit crowded and entered inside; the place was surprisingly empty which made it easier to get a spot.
Aunt Cassie asks everyone to write their orders so I give them quickly, they all wanted spaghetti and meatballs but I just ordered a burger. After I placed them, I saw some college flyers pasted around which reminded me to remind Aunt Cassie about the scholarship offers she said she'd look up.
As I kept walking back, I kept on looking around for other interesting things, I was so busy looking around that I didn't realize I bumped into someone and fell on the floor, he apologized and offered me his hand.
"I'm so sorry about that."
That voice sounds familiar.
I slowly rose my head up and looked at him speechlessly.
