I have no idea how long I slept but I'm sure that it was for a long time. I woke up with the sun shining on my weary face through the window. It horribly stung my watery and baggy eyes from yesterday's tears, I had to freshen up before it got worse .the weather is hotter here than San Francisco during this time of the year which would probably be summer.

After that , I went to my laptop to charge my laptop and phone (Which are one of the only valuable items that survived the fire ) Because I promised Bryan I'd keep in touch . When I plugged it in, I realized I don't have any internet connection since my Wi-Fi went down with the house. The only option I have is to ask my aunt for their password, I'm not in the mood to talk to her this morning so it doesn't help the situation .My tummy loudly rumbled and that means I have to go downstairs because the fridge followed by my breakfast is down there -__- , this is so unfair. I looked up and quietly yelled

"Not cool, dude"

Then walked out of the room.

As I walked down the stairs, I saw Trent and tommy playing video games in the living room while she was making breakfast .I wanted to run back up but the rumbles changed my mind ,I'm not a glutton but Food has always been one of my weaknesses.

I quietly walked towards the kitchen and greeted her

"Good morning Aunt"

I really don't want to talk but it's for Bryan and the Wi-Fi. She quickly turned around with shock then relief written all over her face.

"Delansy, I'm so sorry about the way I acted yesterday towards you, I just didn't want you to get hurt....."

My mind zoomed off as she apologized. When she stopped, I slowly replied

"I understand. Can I have the Wi-Fi password, please? "

With the most lifeless voice I could ever make. My eyes bags were still there so with that voice, there's no difference between me and a zombie, except well... I'm alive! She sadly looked down and replied

""I'll tell Trent to switch it on and give it to you"

With a hint of disappointment in the tone of her voice. She called Trent over who was annoyed by the interruption between him and his game with tommy but I didn't think she cared. She told him what to do and we were on our way upstairs.

As we walked along the corridor, He said

"Look, don't let what happened yesterday with my mum ruin your relationship with her. She didn't mean to sound harsh or shout at you like that, she's just too overprotective and believe me I've been a victim of it lots of time but what I'm trying to say is ,don't add to one of her many burdens , she's already suffered enough "

I stopped walking then faced him

"What do you mean?"

I know Aunt Cassie and I aren't the closest but that doesn't mean I should cause problems for her. He looked at me for a few second before he said

"You really don't know what I'm talking about, do you."

I nodded my head like a child who just got scolded. He looked away and closed his eyes, I knew that he didn't want to answer me but he opened his eyes again and told me anyway

"She's the eldest daughter and also the only female child in her family .your grandfather was an inventor, his inventions made him rich and famous but also put him in peril .She had to live up to everyone's expectations of being the perfect daughter but she never lived up to the legacy."

He kept quiet after that then lead me to where the Wi-Fi was. It was the biggest I've ever seen in my life, He switch it on from its side and said

"Catermy"

He hand me the card then left the room, before he walked past the door frame he shout

"There's some cream around here that would help your eye bags if you want"

I looked besides it and found different creams on a table .I awkwardly replied

"Thanks"

Before I helped myself to some .There's something strange about this family and I'm going to find what but to be honest , nothing has been normal since the accident .
