Jack: You're sleeping peacefully through the night, when you hear a rattling noise. You quickly sit up, ready to yell out for your parents, when you see that it's only Jack. He slides the window up and smiles at you. "Hey beautiful," he says in a hushed tone. You're still in shock as he begins to climb into your room, easing the window shut quietly behind him.

"What are you doing here cowboy?" you say still staring at him in awe. "Shouldn't you be at the lodging house?"

"Didn't know you'd be so upset to see me! I can always leave sweetheart," he says adjusting his bandana and stepping backwards. You quickly shake your head, getting up from your bed and walking over to him. You wrap your arms around his mid section and he rests his chin on your head while hugging you back. You sigh in content once you smell his distinct scent; tobacco, sweat, and a hint of cologne that he sneaks from his richest customers.

"I just couldn't stay away from youse y/n," he says into your hair. "What do ya say I stays the night with ya?" You think about it for a minute... Your parents would be furious if they entered your room in the morning to find Jack laying in bed with you. On the other hand, you can't imagine saying goodbye to Jack and sending him back into the streets of the city at this hour.

"...Alright Jackey boy you can stay. But we must get up early to sneak you out before my parents get home!" You say pulling him into bed with you.

"You got in princess," he said snuggling under the covers, pulling you close to him. You laid your head on his chest and soon drifted off into a deep sleep once again.

Davey: Tears streamed down your face as you slammed the door to your room shut. Your parents had just finished scolding you for having a relationship with a newsie, and demanded that you stop seeing him immediately, along with all of his friends. You sit on your bed contemplating what you are going to do. Breaking up with Davey is not an option, but sneaking around in order to see him will be no easy task. You hear taps on your window and your head whips around to see Davey on your fire escape with a sweet smile plastered on his face. Usually you would be overjoyed to see him, but instead worry fills your mind. You walk over to the window and unlock it, lifting it over his head. "Hey Dave," you said caressing his chin in your hand. He enters your room and pulls you into a kiss.

"I couldn't wait to come see you today. Race got some  free passes to go to the races, so we just gotta go y/n," he says holding your hands rambling about his excitement. However, his face falls once he takes the time to notice the redness in your eyes and puffy cheeks. "Wait what's wrong y/n? Are you alright?" Your mind races with things to tell him, trying to find just the right words.

"My parents don't want me to see you anymore," you blurted out. His face goes from concern to sadness in a matter of seconds. You begin to panic as he drops your hands. "No, no, no, David don't worry I'm not leaving you I could never do that. We just need to figure out a way to see each other without my parents knowing right now." He looks at you with confusion.

"I don't want our relationship to be hidden y/n... It would hurt too much to see you knowing how much your parents dislike me," he says looking down at his feet.

"Davey I want my parents to love you just as much as I do. Until I find out how to break the news to them that you're my person, things will be a little more complicated," you say tilting his head towards yours in attempt to make eye contact. He sighs and nods his head.

"Its not something I'm happy with but if it benefits our relationship then I will do it... For us," he says rubbing your arms and shoulders. You hugged him tightly and gave him a kiss, thanking him for being so understanding of the complicated situation.

Blink: It was the night before your wedding to Blink, and you were staying at your parents house. You sat at your vanity, adjusting the curlers you had just out in your hair. Tomorrow was your special day and you wanted to make sure you look perfect. As you got up you nearly had a heart attack at the sight of Blink climbing through your window. "Oh my god Blink don't scare me like that! What are you doing here?" You questioned holding your hands out for him to hold. He approached you smiling and wrapped you in his arms.

"I just had to come see you one last time before I see youse walk down the aisle tomorrow. I love you so much y/n and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with ya," he says kissing your forehead. Your heart swells with love and you're overjoyed with his words.

"Blink I feel the same way, tomorrow is the start of something amazing," you beamed at him. "Now you have to get out before my parents hear you!" You playfully pushed him toward the window. He laughed and kissed your hand before descending down the fire escape.

"Until tomorrow my love," he let go of your hand and winked at you as he slowly climbed down the fire escape. You sat on the ledge and rested your back against the window frame and lovingly watched Blink walk down the street, clicking his heels as he went.
