We arrived at the stadium really early. Which is good but I don't think I've ever been more nervous. We're playing South Korea today. We walk into the changing room to change into our warm-up kits. I'm not even in the official kit and I already feel really proud to wear it. To warm up, we all run the length of the pitch. When Esme runs past me she starts to slow down so I decide to slow down so that we could jog next to each other.

'It really suits you, ' She says gesturing to the kit while smirking before sprinting off. She's running just ahead of me and I can't not focus on how elegantly her ponytail swings from left to right. To finish off warm-ups we get into pairs and pass a ball back and forth and then take some shots at our goalies to help them warm up as well. My first shot hit the top-right-hand corner.

'Nice,' Esme says as I walk past her back to the back of the line.

'Thanks,' I replied with a smile. We did a few more rounds of shots and then got back into our twos again to do some more passing. I once again paired up with Esme.

After a little bit more of that, it was time to head back into the changing room and get into our official match kit. My spot in the changing room is next to Beth and the wall. Unfortunately, I'm not sitting next to Esme but she is sitting opposite so I have a good view of her. As I sit up straight after doing my shoe laces up I see Esme changing her shirt. My eyes ultimately go up and down her body. I can't help it every single part of her body is amazing. I'm suddenly taken out of my mind by Beth elbowing me in the ribs. 

'You're staring.' Beth says with a smirk on her face.

'Shut up,' I reply blushing in embarrassment of being caught.

'Let's do this,' A few of the girls shout as we head out to line-up. I'm not in the starting line-up which isn't a surprise. I take my place on the sidelines.

We haven't been playing bad but we can't seem to get the ball into the back of the net for some reason. Young-Ju Lee their defender is amazing. I know we can play better than this. 

'Sarah get ready, You're gonna play in the 2nd half.' Sarina says to me before walking into the changing room to give the girls the half time speech. I'm so excited, I'm actually going to play.

46' Sarah Mae is coming on for Jess Carter. This young girl has taken the WSL by storm and it really seems she can play absolutely anywhere as I'm not sure I've ever seen her play in defence.

I run straight to my position giving a smile to Esme before putting my who concentration on the game at hand.

We played so much better in the 2nd half. I'm so happy I managed to get a few assists. 

'You played so good,' Lauren tells me. 'You really play really good at all positions of the pitch.' she continued while chuckling a bit.

'Thank you, so did you,' I replied with the biggest smile on my face.

'You played really well,' Esme says joining in on the conversation. I know that Lauren pretty much just said the same thing but for some reason hearing Esme say made it even better. We celebrated in the changing room while LJ went and got her POTM Award.
