Mikado Athena POV:

Seishou Gakuen won against Kidokawa Seishuu, it was a great game! After the game everyone clapped their hands. Everyone is strong, all the players from Seishou and Kidokawa were all strong! When the match ended, everyone left the stadium, Akina-san and Emi-san remained and told us to go ahead...

And you may be asking what I'm doing, right? Well, I am currently in a soccer field, not in school but at a park. I kicked the ball continuously into the net, again and again and again until I exhausted myself. I kicked the ball one last time and took a deep breath, Dang it! I need to get stronger! World level...yes that is my aim! I want to be a soccer player that can go against the WORLD!!!!

"Exhausting yourself again?" I turned to see Akira heading my way with a towel and water bottle

"Akira? What are you doing here?" I asked

"No special reason" she shrugged as she hand me the towel and water "I just had a feeling that I'll find you here"

"Hey, Akira" I trailed as she and I sit down the grassy ground

"Hm?"

"Am I a good sister?" I asked

"Eh? What do you mean?" she questioned "Oh...Is it about your sister, Mikado Anna, right?"

I nodded, "When I saw her last time...I wanted to go and greet her but for some reason, I held myself from doing so..."

"I see" she said "Mamoru-niichan and I were the same...We were so close when we were kids but now that we're in middle school, it kinda well happens...Sure siblings ignore each other here and there but it doesn't change the fact that they live in the same roof, came from the same womb and they are siblings"

"I'll just pretend I understood your words" I deadpanned

"Is my explanation really that complicated?" she questioned

"Hm~ Half-half!" I said

"Meanie!" she exclaimed

"Oh? Athena-san and Akira-san?"

"Hm? Yo, Mizuno!" Akira greeted

"What are you two doing here?" Mizuno asked

"Just getting some fresh air, I think?" Akira said

"Liar! You followed me here didn't you?" I bluntly said

"OI!"

"It's been a while since we three gathered" Mizuno suddenly said

"Sone~(That's right~)" Akira hummed

"I remember Thena and I joined the soccer club at the same time when we were 1st years, right?" Akira said "Mizuno joined when we became 2nd years and at the same time he joined and suddenly we became Seidouzan's new 3 aces''

"Kai-san trained the three of us but then I got injured unexpectedly..." she said in sadness

"That was not your fault, Akira-san, it was Maverick-san's!" Mizuno said

Jena Maverick, I never liked her even when I joined the soccer club...She clings to Captain like Captain will go away once she lets go. Not only that since, Kai-san is Akira's teacher in teaching her soccer, she was blinded with jealousy and plotted to injure Akira beyond repair, no more like she doesn't want anyone to be near Kai-san...Jena Maverick is a total Yandere is someone asks me......

"She's a foreign exchange, right?" Mizuno asked "I heard that she's the reason why Akina-san and Emi-san transferred schools"

"Ah...Those rumors, right?" I said "She gives me total Yandere vibes for some reason"

"Same here"

"Or maybe she's just obsessed with Captain?" Mizuno said

"Just leave that girl out of this conversation" I said in disgust "So? How's your injury, Akira?"

"It's doing good!" Akira said "I think I can play now, however I can't strain myself"

"Our match will be next week, huh?" Mizuno said "Against [Insert Random Opponent Team Name]"

"Doesn't matter who the opponent is!" I said "Let's crush them!"

"Yeah!" Akira and Mizuno both said as they nodded

"I won't lose to anyone!"

"Same here!"

"Okay! Let's practice!" Akira said as she went to pick the ball

"Wait a minute, Akira! Don't strain yourself!" I said

"I won't~" she chuckled

A week later~

Seidouzan vs [Insert Random Opponent Team Name]

Seidouzan won easily and as always, Akina-san and Emi-san didn't join the game. But they were the ones who gave orders....

The day continued as always, practice, school, practice and school and so on and so forth...

"Athena, Akira and Mizuno-kun!" I heard Akina-san call, the three of us went to her call while the others continued their practice

"Yes, Akina-san?" Mizuno said confused

"I have a mission for the three of you" she said

"Eh?"

And here I am currently watching Raimon play against Mikage Sennou, *sigh*....

I had a feeling Akina-san planned this....After all she also said,

"I want the three of you to discover your hidden strengths and weaknesses!"

What does she mean by that anyways?

The players from each team came and I noticed Raimon's coach was not present. What would Raimon do?

Then on the benches, I saw my sister, Mikado Anna, so she's a manager of Raimon, huh?

The match ended with Raimon's win. I was in awe during the game...Raimon's spirit...They never gave up, no matter how strong their opponents were...

I see. So that's what Akina-san wants me to discover, playing alone isn't the answer.....Seidouzan's teamwork is strong but not as strong as Raimon...

I then left, But, Raimon will be going against Teikoku next....

I felt my phone ring, {What is it, Akira?}

{Ara~ In a bad mood?}

{Not funny!}

{Hai~ Hai~ Anyways let's meet up at that Ice cream shop I said before!}

{Oh~ Do you mean Thunder Ice Cream?}

{Yes! That! I already informed Mizuno about it!}

{Okay! See you there!}

{Yeah!}

We both ended the call and I headed to the location where Akira said. When I got there I saw Outei Tsukinomiya's Captain, Nosaka Yuuma and Nishikage Seiya, Outei Tsukinomiya's goalkeeper, Ugh! What luck?!

They both were having a conversation while eating their ice cream, I just ignored them and then I felt someone hug me from behind, "Thena-chan~"

"Akira, will you get off of me!" I said annoyed then I spotted Mizuno

"Mizuno, can you get her off of me!" I said

"Akira-san that is enough" Mizuno said

"Don't be a killjoy!" Akira said "Anyways let's go! This will be my treat!"

Us three bought Ice creams, Mizuno's flavor was vanilla and chocolate, Akira's flavor was Strawberry and Choco while mine was Choco-Mint flavor. We found a seat for the three of us and we engaged in a conversation...

"So how was the match?" Akira asked

"It was fine" I shrugged taking a bite of my ice cream

"Same here" Mizuno said "But I also found out something and it's something Seidouzan lack"

"Same here" Akira said "What about you, Athena?"

"I guess, same as well" I said "Perhaps we do have hidden strengths and weakness"

I ate all my ice cream in one bite and stood up, "Let's go you three we have a match tomorrow" I said

"How do you eat your ice cream that fast without getting a brain freeze?" I heard Akira say as sweatdrop

"Don't know~" I shrugged

Now that I know what I really lack, I think it's time for a change of direction
