Title: Doe Eyes

The group look strangely at the title and what Nezric said it was another universe.

If someone asked Naruto what had drawn him to his wife, he'd have a hard time settling on one trait until the image of her long dark-red hair came to mind. What he loved about his wife's hair, other than it's vibrant color, was how it was never just straight; sometimes it was wavy, and other times she would have a mess of light curls.

Tsunade, Jiraiya, Kakashi brow's went up in surprise.

Naruto: I have a wife?!*Confused*

Hinata was taken a back by the au and felt her heart aching.

The boys just looked at confused Naruto.

He was hard pressed to figure out which was its natural state and which was styled. Her eyes were equally beautiful. They were bright emerald-green, a shade that outshone all other green eyes he'd come across in the past (including those of his first crush and teammate).

Naruto blush at the description of the women's eyes.

Sakura frowned at the last statement on what Naruto said.

Ino: She must be very beautiful

Some nodded as Sasuke was gripping his sit, and has his heart felt ache.

Naruto always found these questions amusing, since he knew no one had foreseen him falling in love with an apparent foreigner. Despite being able to blend right in with the Uzumaki clan when they were still around (and for good reason), Kurosaki Sumire, born Violet Potter, was definitely exotic in the Elemental Nations. She had skin so white some compared it to snow, but it wasn't so pale it looked unhealthy.

Tsunade and Asuma perked hearing a foreign girl.

Jiraiya: So her name is Sumire*Pervertly Giggles*

Jiraiya was writing down, but was tide up to his chair and his novel was burned by Sasuke's Jutsu.

As Jiraiya cries were heard in the room echoing.

The girls looked evilly at Jiraiya as he gulp in fear.

He knew most thought he'd fall in love with Hinata and marry her, and they had dated after the attack of Ōtsutsuki Toneri, but after nearly a year of dating the two separated on good terms. Part of him knew he'd hurt Hinata by breaking up with her, but he simply couldn't force himself to fall in love with her.

Hinata eyes widen and frowned as a faint smile was plastered to her face as tears were falling down.

Naruto felt sad and maybe his other part had a good reason.

Shino and Shikamaru just looked at the frowning Hinata as Hanabi comforted Hinata.

Choji:*Mumble's*, How sad, *Frowns*

He did like her, just not as he or Hinata had hoped. Hinata was a great friend, she was strong, kind, and beautiful. She was everything he didn't deserve, in his opinion, and though he tried to love her the love he did develop wasn't that of a lover. She was a dear friend and maybe even the sister he never had, but that was all he could feel for her.

The three Hyuuga's frowned as they understand, As Hinata she was evaluating herself.

Naruto:*Whisper's* It's true......

Ino comforted her fellow blondie as others didn't say anything.

Sasuke: dear friend......

Sasuke felt unpleasant and felt that Naruto see's everyone as only a friend.

Popular belief was that he dumped her to pursue Sakura, the girl everyone of his generation and their neighbor knew he'd had a crush on since before he started going through puberty. This wasn't true, he'd come to terms with his feelings for Sakura years ago. And even if he hadn't, Sakura was in love with Sasuke and she probably always would be.

Sadness grew as the atmosphere change eerie.

Sakura was holding her breath and wanted to cover her shame for rejecting Naruto.

Kakashi just look at his students and frown as it was true, Sakura was totally high heels for Uchiha boy.

Guy and Lee couldn't say as both whispered to each other.

Several weeks after he and Hinata went their separate ways, he met the love of his life. He only saw her from behind, but the moment his eyes spotted her long wavy red locks he knew he had to know her. It wasn't because she reminded him of his mother (though the similarities was there). Naruto hadn't known his mother, what he did know came from those who'd known her and the few minutes he'd seen her within his seal as a chakra impression. Sumire and Kushina, while similar, were nothing alike otherwise. They shared similar shades of red hair and a feisty personality, but that was where it ended.

Some of the male adults shiver hearing the similarities between Sumire and Kushina, and glad that Sumire doesn't have Kushina's temper.

Naruto: My Kaa San's name is Kushina?*Confused and Thinking*

Ino: Isn't Kushina known as the HOT BLOODED HABANERO

Everyone remembered as she was a Uzumaki, but with red hair instead of blond.

Some of the group got suspicious of Naruto's parents.

Sumire hated fighting, even if she'd had to in the past, many of her friends would say she was as close to a pacifist as someone could get without actually being one. She didn't have an issue fighting when it was to protect her loved ones and home, but otherwise she was the epitome of gentle. Instead of chakra she used an energy she called magic, which was very much like a kekkei genkai and was listed as one. It's abilities had shocked so many some had begun calling her the Sorceress of Konoha; with the ability to warp reality to her whims.

Everyone's jaw dropped hearing that she can use magic without issue.

Tsunade: She's a pacifist

Konohamaru: And she's the wife of Naruto Uzumaki the Sorceress Of Konoha, Kurosaki Sumire!

Dramatically said as some laugh and snickered at Konohamaru's antic

Kiba laugh at what Konohamaru said and Naruto blushed in embarrassment, Akamaru could only bark.

While Sasuke snorted in envious Naruto having such rare wife with a strong Kekkei Genkai.

Sumire would laugh and wave it off, saying her magic didn't change reality in anyway, at least no more than other kekkei genkai and ninja arts did. Naruto knew it was complicated but amazing to watch. He loved how she would get this dreamy, far away look when she was in deep thought. How her eyes were almond shaped with thick lashes and large like a doe. He loved how she would play with her long hair when nervous. And he loved the little dusting of freckles across the bridge of her nose and the tops of her shoulders and cleavage; freckles that were so faint one would have to be nearly on top of her to notice them.

The males turn pink hearing how beautiful she was.

Neji: So that's where the title got it's name*Smiling*

Naruto blushed as he read the book and covered his face with two of his hands.

Some of the males were envious of Naruto in that universe.

Choji was eating nachos with melted cheese givin by Nezric.

Getting her attention had been hard at first, she seemed to want to avoid ninja and he didn't blame her. Even at a time of peace he ran the risk of dying young, and with his reputation and heritage that increased. Peace was a delicate thing, and though the Five Great Shinobi Villages were at peace anything could break that peace, and there were plenty of smaller countries and hidden villages that didn't want the changes that had occurred.

The adults agreed as Shinobi's and Kunoichi's alike were being avoid by civilian's.

Kakashi: Peace is delicate it's of course true*Agreeing With Au Naruto*

Tsunade agreed with Kakashi and back in the Shinobi war she lost both Dan and Nawaki making her saddened by the painful memories.

Guy and Lee agreed and called Naruto youthful as everyone winch.

Neji and Tenten in unison: Welcome To Our World*Making everyone groan*.

Sumire was stubborn, but eventually his relentless chase after her won him their first date four months after meeting her. It took a few dates before h mye knew he'd found the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Meeting Sumire and his following choice to chase her in pursuit of a relationship was something he never regretted; not once.

Naruto wanted to jump in joy as he got a date in that universe without fail.

Sakura didn't say and looked at the last sentence.

Others felt happy for Naruto in that universe.

Naruto has been thinking, he wishes that Sumire was also her with him making him smile thinking of Sumire, if she was in this universe.

Sumire was surprised to find this blond, blue-eyed boy grinning at her and asking for her name. She'd only gone to the market, she hadn't expected for anyone to talk to her. She was still learning the language as far as reading and writing went, since magic could only make her fluent speaking the language with a spell.

Jiraiya: Quick learner*Smiling*

Kakashi: That's good...*Touching his left eye*

Naruto was also their and what will happen next made everyone was curious on what will Naruto do.

She was still the foreign girl in the village. A girl who'd come to Konoha not long after their war ended, with a fortune to her name, and kept mostly to herself. She had some friends, but they were civilians and that was how she liked it.

Tsunade: Seems like she has trust issues

Ino: Yeah, she doesn't seem to trust them with her fortune, it's better safe then sorry.

Everyone nodded and didn't want their money to be mistakenly miss use by others.

But looked at Tsunade who scowled at them and looked away from Tsunade as they were sweating bullets.

[Tsunade miss use her money doing gambling and had a huge Debt]

No matter what she did Naruto kept trying to be her friend, but it was obvious he wanted to be more. Sumire would be lying if she said she'd not thought about it. He was kind, and cheerful, fun, and he made her laugh, but what made her want to avoid him and his advances was death. She'd seen so many die in the past. Her parents, her godfather, Remus, Tonks, Cedric, Fred... they had all taken a piece of her heart with them, and she didn't know if she had enough left to give.

Everyone was saddened by her lost and Naruto understood, why she doesn't trust him.

Sasuke only grip in sadness as Sumire lost everything just like him.

But he was glad to meet the team and some people along the way.

Everything was taken by her was her loves one's, making Tsunade faintly cry.

"Come on Mire-chan, just one date," Naruto said as he carried her bags. Bags which he'd taken from her the moment he came to walk beside her. She sighed, while shaking her head.

Girls except Sakura in unison: Such a gentleman*Grinning*

Naruto could only blush as some girls giggled.

Kiba: Hmph*Jealous*,*Crossing Both His Arm's*

"I've told you a thousand times, Naruto. You're nice, but I don't want to date anyone. It's not you..."

Some only think as it was just the beginning for the two.

Naruto determination was something that was in the Uzumaki blood.

Kakashi: Never Give Up, Naruto...

Making everyone speechless and looked at Kakashi in shocked as he said it for the first time.

"It's me," Naruto finished for her with a foxy grin. "Isn't that a bit cliché, Sumire? I understand you're not sure about starting something, but what if we don't call it a date?"

Sumire pursed her lips and then sighed. "Come in, I doubt I'll get my food back otherwise."

Everyone damned as how Naruto said it.

Kiba: Damn, whisker's you made a loop

Some agreed as Naruto only blush from what he read.

Jiraiya was still tide up and was giving Naruto a thumbs up.

Jiraiya and Kakashi: That's my student!*Smiling*

That was the start of something new. The next day he was back to his old routine of greeting her as she went into work at the hospital. She was no medic-nin, but the hospital also had civilian nurses, and with her bloodline she could heal just as well, if not better, than some medical ninja. She hadn't studied with Madam Pomfrey and finished her education as a healer for nothing.

Stunade was interested in a lady or Madam Pomfrey person that taught Sumire.

Sakura blink as Sumire was not a Kunoichi, but an excellent healer, made her feel jealous and envious as so did her inner Sakura.

Iruka was perked by Madam Pomfrey person as he wanted to know like Tsunade also thought.

"Again?" she asked with a small smirk.

Naruto smiled and held out a single violet and lily flower. She felt her cheeks turn red, and with her ivory skin tone it was impossible to hide from the blond. With some hesitance she accepted the flowers. She remembered telling Naruto some time after they'd met about her favorite colors and flowers. She should've known he had other motives to asking.

The boys except Shino, Sasuke and Iruka saying smooth moves as girls love flowers...will some of them.

Sasuke: Never thought dobe would give flowers to a girl*Smirked*

Naruto: Shut up, Sasuke TEME, you don't know anything!*Angerly Glaring*

Both glaring as others sigh at both boys just like Ino and Sakura.

Suddenly, she was drawn into eyes brighter than the sky and she felt herself relent. She liked him, and she'd known she had for a while, but her own insecurities and stubborn nature had stopped her from accepting his proposals. Rolling her eyes she smiled.

Everyone except Sasuke and Sakura were cheering as Naruto won Sumire's heart.

Naruto: Hell Yeah, Other me!*Jumping In Happiness*

Sasuke only scowls and Sakura wanted to hit Naruto so badly.

"Do you still want that date?" Blue eyes widened, and she chuckled while he stuttered out a yes. "Good, meet me tonight."

"How about seven?" Naruto asked.

"Seven-thirty, I don't get off work until five," she said, kissing him on the cheek before entering the hospital.

She left a grinning stupidly Naruto behind.

Ino: Wow, she left Naruto with a kiss

Shikamaru: I believe she made him even more dumber now*Looking at Naruto with a grin on his face*

Naruto was frozen and process on what just happened and in 20 second's he fainted with a blush on his face.

Some of them felt envy and laugh also as it was hilarious.

Hinata fainted again from what she read, Hanabi really need's Kurenai right now.
