Kate's p.o.v

The house, I mean mansion, is absolutely huge!
The downstairs has three guest rooms, plus all the necessary rooms like a kitchen and dining room. Sheila lives in one of the guest bedrooms. Thank goodness, because otherwise I would kill her in her sleep.

However, now, I am following Ethan up the modern glass steps to the second floor. The upstairs still has that cabin look. I feel my blood pressure rise from excitement. Hey don't judge, I haven't lived in a house in a while.As we walk through, I see a bunch of doors, which are, apparently, closets.

We crash into Léo and Anna as we travel the rooms, but still continue the tour.The first room on the left was actually Léo's/Anna's room. It was jungle themed;Trees, vines, and lush pillows decorated the place. Then came Linda's and Will's room.

I peak my head into the room, my body hanging sideways from the doorframe. Ethan smirks as he steps into the room, "Hey Linda."

Linda, the small female on the bed, jolts. The room itself was this mix of forest and pink look. Surprisingly, it looked good. It also had a huge window that showed the nobel mountains and forest.

"Oh! Ethan! I did not hear you....." She says quietly with a smile. Her eyes land on me and horror fixes her face.
She randomly 'eeps', I guess, then yellow power flushes around her, causing her to disappear.

"Ha-choo!" I sneeze as the dust tickles my nose. Ethan laughs, "Linda, relax, this is our free-runner, Kate."

She randomly appears behind me causing a shriek from me. She jumps back in fear. Her cheeks flush, "Sorry, I'm just a little shy, but I'm Linda, a fairy."

"Uh, Kate....." I say, looking over this girl. She had a small frame with blonde curls and shy blue eyes. "Nice to meet you, Kate." She says with a small smile. Then, to Ethan, she says, "I need to go finish my fairy studies; tell me when Will comes home."

Ethan nods, letting her go into her room before shutting the door and grinning at me.
"What?" I ask, confused. He shakes his head, still smiling, "Nothing, come on."

I keep following him. Jack's and Athena's room are conjoined, but separated by a wall. Both had this rich God look, though Athena's had a more tomboy look to it.
Ethan's room I loved the most. My mouth fell into a smile as I stepped into the drafty room.

To my left a huge balcony taking up the whole wall and to my right a desk with a dark lush bed. However, his room kept the cabin look, but had a more powerful vibe.

He sniggers, "I see you like this room..."
"What? How does he know!" I scream inside my head.
He laughs, "Again, forgot something?"

I facepalm myself and he bursts out laughing, "Nice, runner."
I feel my skin heat in anger. I hate when people make fun of me.
"I'm not making fun of you, I'm just messing with you." He sneers. "Okay see that door there--" he points to a dark wood door. I nod my head.

"That's your room. My room is a conjoined room, so you get the conjoined part."
I freeze, "I'm living with YOU?" My mouth drop. He smirks, "What don't like me, runner?"

I mumble, turning away, "Not really...."
He grins. I gasp as he comes face-to-face to me. His powerful blue eyes holding my simple brown ones. My heart races from the shock, and my breath gets heavy. Stupid super speed!

I feel one of Ethan's hand go around my waist and his other pet my cheek as his head leans in so his mouth was next to my ear. "Oh runner, what fun we can have here....." He whispers. I gulp, feeling an uneasy sensation in my stomach. I hear him lick his lips as my brain tries to function.

I push my hands against his chest. Holy freak! Those abs! I push against him, "Ethan s-stop...." I have trouble whispering out.

"It seems like your body doesn't want me to stop, runner." His hand travels up and down my curves causing shivers from me. His icy breath tickling my ear, causing my brain too loose its ability to work.

"E-E-Ethan...." I say, out of breath. I push against him harder, but with no avail. He was a prison, holding me against him. My animal side started to prowl, not like this.

I allow some strength to go into my arms. "Ethan!" I say. This time, with more worry as he begins to travel kisses down my neck. I start to squirm, noticing my body reacting positively to this movement. So my voice catches a more fearful tone, "Ethan!"

I pull my body down, causing me to slip free. Quickly crawling away, away from those arms, I hear Ethan laugh.
"Why are you so fun to tease, runner?" He asks, amused.
"What?" I ask, confused, still blushing deeply. He laughs again, "You are fun to tease."

I instantly turn red figuring out that this is a joke. My mood becomes dark, "That was cruel."
He smirks, "That's what you get for 'not really' liking me."
I take a deep inhale, glaring at him.

He smiles, "The rest of the group is here, let's go meet them."
I hesitate, but eventually storm out, following Ethan out the doorway and to the downstairs.

Ethan's p.o.v.

Well, maybe it wasn't a joke, but it started as one. I used one of my vampire powers to cause her to go into a more fragile state, and a more lustful state. But somehow, she used it against me. I went into lust mode. It was like it bounced off of her and went into me. I inwardly groan, remembering how this girl turned me on.

I sigh, feeling all the buzzes of my pack. All of them were downstairs and Kate was silent walking behind me. She was probably planning revenge. I laugh, of course she is!

I lead her downstairs and to the living room.
"Baby-Boo!" A high pitched voice shrills. My features instantly go into a frown, not this again. This girl won't f*cking leave me alone!

I respond, mono-tone, "Hi Sheila....."
"Hey baby," her boring eyes travel past me and to Kate. She instantly frowns.
"Who's this?" She snarls.

I open my mouth but am quickly interrupted by Kate, "I'm the new runner, Sheila!" Kate hisses.
Woah! Where did that fire and hate come from?

I nod my head, not wanting any fights today, "Now Sheila, if you don't mind. I must introduce our runner to the rest of the pack."

I push past her getting grins of approval from Léo and Jack. They hate Sheila also. I grin back as I walk down onto the carpeted floor, in front of the tv, facing the dark long couch(well it was more 3 long couches put together in a half circle almost). Kate follows me, though with more unease.

I chuckle slightly as I gesture to her, "Everyone, this is Kate, she is our free-runner for these two months."
"Hey Kate!" Everyone responds with enthusiasm, except Sheila. Jealous werewolf.

She bows her head slightly, doing the nervous shuffle, "hi."
I smirk, looking at her. God she is so wild and strong, yet so fragile; almost.
My head turns back to the pack that is lounging around on the huge couches, "as we all know, tonight's movie night. So, who is the last person on our list?"

Jack snickers, "It's you, dumb*ss."
I see Kate hold back a giggle.

She has cute giggle. Are you serious Ethan, that has to be the first thing that comes to mind! Ugh.

"Alright, so Kate, every Monday and Friday we have this thing called movie night. That's when a person picks a movie and we all watch it."

Athena pipes up, "We also have game night!"
I give her a look and continue, "Yes, we also have game nights every Wednesday and Saturday... But anyway, your turn to pick a movie will be after I do..."
Kate nods her head, "okay, I'm cool with that."

Sheila snarls, "Why does she get to choose? It's not like she is in the pack!"
I growl, getting protective over Kate. Wait, why am I getting protective? It's only her 1st day!

Anna snarls back, allowing her leopard teeth to show, "She is part of this pack until the two months are over and she chooses not to be apart of it!"
Yes! Thats my girl! Well, best friend's girl. I silently cheer.

"Alright, so whose turn is it today?" I ask, getting back on topic. Jack shoots his hand up, "my turn! I choose Pitch Perfect!"

The group laughs and gets settled in as Linda uses her magic to put Pitch Perfect onto the screen. The movie plays, and I get absorbed into it. Ignoring the jealous looks Sheila was sending me, and enjoying Kate's presence next to me.
